Trying to understand this Gail Kim/Riho beef.

That’s rich coming from Gail Kim, given her biggest break in women’s wrestling was her matches with Awesome Kong, who was bigger than her. Other than that, can’t really name any other Gail Kim match that sticks out in WWE or TNA.

Definitely grifting that legends deal given how for years she bashed WWE on how she was treated.

Kenny has known Riho since she debuted. She's essentially his little sister. I am not surprised he got upset. Joshi get enough hate on social media and he's mentioned on stream them coming to him confused why.

Riho is 28. So any talk of sexualization is way off in AEW.

In my opinion she is good in the ring. Yes she is small, but there are many great female wrestlers who are. The matches they have cant ignore the size, but there are ways to work it into matches and those matches be very successful.

Gail Kim likes to get into random twitter wars. Its not becoming of somebody of her talents. And she is dead wrong in most of her points here.

Zero character or character work, can't cut a promo, looks like a child and carries herself like a child, not good in the ring and her stuff look bad. Of anyone that does the Tiger Feint Kick, she is by far the worst and doing it and it looks awful every time she does it. For someone that's small and light she is slow and unathletic. There are females that are much taller and weigh far more that moves quicker than Riho does. She has nothing going for her imo.

Of course Gail Kim is correct and of course the AEW fanbase is attacking her instead of discussing her points. Riho is too small and doesn't wrestle like a small wrestler should. There are Joshi wrestlers out there that do absolutely everything better than she does. AEW forgets that this is also a visual business at times and watching a 45kg (That's 99lb for our American friends) adult just doesn't work for some people. Also she's quite obviously a nepotism hire, which wouldn't float in the other company.

She gives me Marko Stunt vibes.

The cameraman complaint was weird, she's honestly one of the least sexualized women AEW's featured, and has pretty conservative gear all things considered.



Cornette's weird hatred of all joshis always struck me as very strange, and he's come across like an asshole at times with that.

Im not a size guy by any means but i cant with riho. She reminds me of hentai porn its so fucking distracting that i cant even watch her in the ring.

If she changed the attire i probably would get over it

This is Asian on Asian hate to. You wpuld think Gail Kim would praise her fellow Asian women not talk shit.

As ofr Kenny's tweet. The more I think about it yeah kinda dumb cause I almost forgot she got let go from TNA she no longer works there.

WWE would be smart to hire her though

She is trying to get a deal with TKO. She shouldn't play against either side, as WWE and AEW are easily the highest payers in the business, she's too good to have to settle for a promotion like MLW or NWA because of previous burned bridges or newly burned bridges with Tony and Omega... she's a great asset but commenting on Riho's height (Zelina, Roxanne, Alexa, and Katana Chance are all around the same height) isn't smart, especially when the business has evolved the last 30 years, which has obviously passed Cornette by.

Source on her wanting a job with TKO? Sounds like speculation. It’s doubtful she even needs a job when her husband is one of the most famous tv chefs of the last 20 years.
