How do wrestlers have time to go gym?

If WWE wrestlers are working 300 days of the year. How in the hell do they have time to go to the gym and keep their physique or able to eat healthy on the road. Do WWE have a gym or something they set-up in every arena. Because if they are travelling places every day of the week I don't see how they can manage the gym when they say they travel all over the place. Anyone know?

They go and find a gym in whatever town they're in. If not, I've heard some of them talk about running up and down the steps in whatever arena they're in to get a work out.

I think WWE has a deal with Golds' gyms, so the road agents probably inform whoever's travelling to each event where the local facilities are. When you take into account they are only at the show for around four to five hours and probably spend roughly the same time travelling on average each day it doesn't take a wild stretch of the imagination to work out where they can find a spare hour or two. Life on the road is tough but not impossible.

Cena, Mason Ryan, Sheffield, Big Zeke, etc. all do indeed have a portable gym, its called Dianobol, HGH, and every other drug under the sun. There's simply no way to stay that big (& lean) naturally while traveling 300 days a year, taking bumps and injuries and having to eat on the road. As a (natural) bodybuilder myself i'm telling you for a fact that's not possible.

Now, i'm sure some of them could stay pretty big without juicing but they'd be a lot fatter with less muscle definition. The steroids are why guys like that are huge but also look cut at the same time. When you bulk up you gain more fat than muscle, its not really possible to stay huge with sub-10% body fat, visible abs, etc 365 days a year. As someone who follows professional bodybuilding closely, i'd wager the majority of the roster are taking something.

What you need to understand is steroids arent just for getting bigger, theyre also used for losing fat and staying lean without proper diet/cardio, and recovering from injuries fsater. Being on the road and wrestling 4-5 days a week means you don't have time to do cardio and certianly can't eat 100% cleanly. A lot of them are working hurt and have no vacations. Why do you think guys like Rey Mysterio get busted for using them? He has a lot of injuries and no time to rest and recover, steroids make you heal faster. Cena is 100% certainly taking them too, cause he's working more hurt than any wrestler in history.

There's something called the wellness policy that's enforced very well post-Benoit death.

I've seen guys in the WWE who went from being ripped to just looking meh. As if they were laying off the juice post Benoit.

However I still think a lot of them take HGH which WWE probably can't detect.

I'm sure they do that as best they can, but they're also taking HGH and pro-hormones ('legal steroids'). They wouldn't have the bodies they do without it, a lot of them would be big but not 'cut'. Or cut, but not big. You're forgetting the fact that most of the roster have nagging injuries and pain, and also have to practice and rehearse wrestling matches, then actually get out there and perform, that's exhausting, they aren't always going to have enough left in the tank to do a serious workout. Without steroids.

I don't know how many times I have to say it, you're just completely naive if you think most of the WWE roster is natural given their lifestyle.

I do wonder how they find time to do everything. It really isn't the ideal lifestyle to build a physique, nor ideal circumstances for good nutrition, however they find a way to fit it all in. I suppose with the amount of time they will spend driving around travelling and on planes or whatever they will be eager to get into a local gym once they get to the town there performing in. However you must question drugs. I mean if they workout on the day of performing surely they cant work out to intense, as they would be tired and have sore muscles, on top of fitting in cardio to keep lean. I would love to spend a week travelling with the wwe, and see how the superstars manage there time... And if there on pills

If anything the wrestlers are looking the most natural since the 80s, not seeing many wrestlers being big and cut, usually either or. Most of the guys are lean and not puffed up huge anymore, a few genetic freaks here and there. It's not like their taking international flights each week and this is their job, they travel, work out, eat, work and sleep. They have no chores or responsibilities on the road, so pretty easy to find 1-2 hours a day no problem.

This. I mean look at a guy like Orton from 2006/2007 to Orton today. He's lean as fuck. Hell even Christian seems like he trimmed down.

I think most of the time they have too just find a way and anyway possibile to lift weights while on the road stopping by a local gym or whatever they have to do. The thing I don't understand is how they get so lean and ripped yet there diet is easilly not perfect. I hear stories a lot of the times that they are on the road so much that they are forced to eat junk food. John Cena in "Wrestling stories" book claims he eats out fast food all the time when on a big traveling trip and isn't strict with his diet at all. The only time he is strict when eating is when he's at home. I think steroids for some wrestlers helps out matters a bit but it's still quite amazing considering they eat a lot of high in fat in foods and there not exactly NBA or NFL players burning calories excessively. I guess this explains Cm Punk's SKINNY FAT ASS.

Some people are very lucky when it comes to genetics... its like I could eat fastfood every day and still not gain weight because my metabolism is so high but my wife eats an extra sandwich and she looks bloated.

Some wrestlers like rey mysterio are just naturally fat (see pics below) and have to take steroids and work incredably hard just to look cut. But others like Randy Orton could really eat whatever they wanted and stay naturally thin because there body burns it off. Athletes like Manny Pacquiao (eats 7,500 calories a day) and Michael Phelps (eats 10,000 calories a day) are totally cut but don't participate in heavy lifting.

If the talent is performing at an NBA/NHL facility or a facility on a college campus, then theres going to be a gym available. Also anybody with Gold's Gym can work out at any GG location in the country. Unless they're in a real small town, a Gold's Gym will probably be nearby. Even 2 to 3 star hotels will have nice workout facilities. I don't think it's too difficult to get a workout in for the wrestlers.

I have a golds gym membership about 10 miles south of Sacramento (huge building right off the 5 freeway)... Anyway there are pictures of Triple H in the building shaking one of the managers hands so Im guessing they have a deal with them or something (i was there this past monday and tuesday working out but didnt see any of them there - smackdown was in Sacramento this past week)

i keep asking the same thing how do wrestlers stay in magnificent physique while traveling all year long...

as a fan of NBA and WWE.. (btw, lolz Heat), some NBA athletes has a hard time staying in shape even they practice, workout, play basketball everyday.. while in the WWE, most superstars look amazing all year long.. is because they use steroids while nba players dont use steroids?
