WWE sucks again

I was so tired and fast-forwared 90% of Wrestlemania.

And also the WWE Raw, they just try so much that its get watered down, they dont refresh, they just recycle the same guys...

Its getting boring...larrys dog? Paul Heyman acting like an ex-girlfriend?

Well some storylines has been better and have depth...but I feel something is missing, badly.

And todays fickle crowd who doesnt know what to do and itching and trying to hijack the show, and start singing...what does that tell about the product?

I will says some of 2024 it upped a bit, but its back to sucking again.

I feel wrestling in some parts are dead...

Royal rumble is better than wrestlemania as a PPV, not because of wrestling but the format..

I feel we need a Rick Rude shoot on the business again...

"Whats wrong and right with the business" shoot by Rick Rude...

Yes it does.

Doing Cena vs. Orton for the WWE title in 2025? 2025

Sadly AEW also sucks at the moment

Can't wait until this terrible Cena run is over. Knew this would happen as soon as that cringy old POS announced he will be a full timer for this last run.

The product was decent until this POS had to come and ruin it again. The guy ruined it for a decade straight and it still wasn't enough. Fuck John Cena. His "heel run" is one of the worst things I've ever seen and some people had the audacity to compare it to Hogan. Just fuck off.

His heel run should be like Hogan’s. The problem is every creative choice that they are making is the worst possible option. It’s like Hogan still coming out in the red and yellow after Bash at the Beach, still saying “what ya gonna do brother”, still using “American Made” as his theme…but just saying mean words.

Just awful.

HHH's WWE coasted along on the strength of no more Vince and a plethora of really over Babyfaces.

But the reality is HHH has done very little with those over babyfaces, he has to book every Title reign to go on past the point it grows stale, most of the roster will never achieve anything as long as HHH is in charge. Its a boring product.

Glacially paced. There will be very little in the way of plot advancements starting from week 2 after WM41 until SummerSlam. And then from there until Survivor Series, not much will happen. You really only need to watch:

WrestleMania
Raw after WrestleMania
SummerSlam
Royal Rumble

That’s your core content of each WWE “season”.

Nothing wrong with doing Cena and Orton in 2025. Hate this idea that you can't do the same matches again ever. Not every match should be a new one. Cena rightfully won on Sunday, it was how they done it which was abysmal.

However, I agree that WWE sucks. Not much good going on. Don't like Reigns not being with Heyman, Punk is there to be beat, Becky turning heel is a joke, the DISGRACEFUL misuse of Bayley, Drew being made into a total mid carder now, stupid camera views, too much 'influencers' and 'rappers', awful commentators.

The worst part is to where things are currently, it's still so much better than AEW, so there's no alternative if you want to watch a wrestling show.

How is it better than AEW? Other than Production Value that gets lost in the commericals and its brutal pacing tell me in what ways. I watch both companies and I don't see anything WWE is better at. WWE does a great job at controlling the media narrative but besides that the company has sucked for about a year now. They had an epic run up to Wrestemania 40 and were hot till Summer Slam and the company drove oof a cliff after that. Did you watch Double or Nothing? AEW's PPV was so much better than Saturday Night Main Event it doesn't feel right comparing the 2. You would have to be the biggest FED drone in history to think Saturday Night Main Event was a better PPV. WWE has 2 things going for it. Tony Kahn can't book Collision for shit. Half the time the show is unwatchable. The 2nd is he is to short sighted to realize that his 50 dollar PPV's are stunting the companies growth. Basically Kahns money is AEW's biggest asset but he is also their biggest problem. If soemone else booked AEW and there marketing / production team wasn't terrible they would be destroying WWE because their product 9 out of 10 times is better

I disagree. i voiced many complaints about the Road to Wrestlemania - but I thoguht Raw was AWESOME. They corrected a lot of the things I disliked about road to Wrestlemania. Here's a list, in no particular order:

1. Becky Lynch. Don't put her in a tag team - make her return impactful!!! That's why I hated her winning tag titles, I'm like WTF a tag team run? But the big heel turn fixes that. She's probably going to be revealed as the one who took Bayley out. I have hope they may do an evil faction she'd be at the helm of, possibly even allied with Charlotte. Two gigantic heels to take down women's division....sounds good and fun to me.

2. Jey USO shouldn't be main eventing/world champion - but if he is, play to his strengths and USE SAMI ZAYN!!! Tha's what got him over in the first place, the Sami and Bloodline storyline, and it was missing on road to wrestlemania. Finally Sami shows up. I know he just came out to congratulate Jey - but I'm hoping a Sami heel turn on Jey is imminent, giving us a fun story....and hopefully a short title reign to boot.

3. Cena vs Orton. Look - I won't say this is necessarily a dream match or anything, but with Cena doing his big retirement tour it was obvious they were going to try to do a few big matchups. Orton is 100% an obvious one to do - CM Punk is the other. And no offense to Orton fans - but he's not winning, so it's good to get this one out of the way early. Still a big marquee matchup with two huge names - but not a ton of intrigue in outcome, since Cena will win, so get it out of the way early. I don't mind it. If they extend this feud beyond 1 month, that's where i'll start to have an issue.

4. Bron alliance with Seth/Heyman. I really, really like this pairing. I was somewhat happy with the Seth turn/win at WM (I wanted him to win, but I prefered Heyman stay with Roman as I didn't know how Seth/Heyman would mesh, since Seth doesn't need a mouth piece). But - one night in, I really love the dynamics, and I love that they added someone to the group, and Bron is perfect. He needed to move onto bigger and better things from the IC title, but isn't quite ready for a world title, so this is perfect, a main event run in a big faction, feuding with Punk/Roman. Yeah, I like a lot of this to be honest.

5. Gunther attacks McAfee. I LOVED this. I'm not a huge fan of Gunther (I realize he's talented, I just find him boring usually) - but this was good. This was unexpected, and different, and I really liked it. The announcers also did a really good job of selling the brutality of the attack.

So yeah - I disagree. I thought Raw was amazing, and they really used it to reset many storylines/create new things. And i'm looking forward to see how some of this plays out.

Also just watch the highlights online is what some do to save time.

WWE is really boring most of the time.
Youtube highlights can be your friend in this regard lol.

I personally only watch segments on YouTube, royal rumble and mania for nostalgia reasons. That said wwe hasn’t been actually good since 07. There is great moments but not one whole calendar year has it been actually good. The new roster most really have no promo skills, rivalries don’t really mean anything anymore, so many multiple finisher kick outs. Just lazy booking.

Karrion Kross promo said it best, wwe cares about the clicks and viral moments, they want the money and mainstream “influencers” are gonna help the casual fans show up to shows. Travis Scott,Bad Bunny,Ishowspeed, Logan Paul etc (bunny and and Paul are pretty good in the ring mind you) the younger audience know these guys and think holy fuck I gotta see this. They don’t give any attention to middle of the card feuds it’s main events and the top guys, say what you want about Ruthless aggression era, but they had wrestling and they made it seem like titles mattered.

I would say the last great year was 2000.
Dude 01-03 had some great PPVs but everyone’s entitled to their opinion. Mania 17-19 were great. WM 2000 besides the ladder match and angle,Jericho,Benoit was pretty meh

I thought the product was good until elimination chamber this year. The build for the entire card was terrible.

I was willing to give the Cena heel turn a chance but it is terrible. I was excited when he said he was coming back full time but him being a heel pisses me off so much. I wanted John Cena not this bullshit that literally makes no sense because he comes out and is crying about the fans booing him when it hasn’t even happened since like 2014, he’s saying he’s going to ruin wrestling and they are cheering him now because they’re so cool and like all the heels and it totally takes away from the whole thing. It feels like the least common denominator won, and they are booking the show for smark fan service. I didn’t even watch Raw this week because of it. I’m not going to stop watching the show altogether but him being a heel and getting cheered irritates me so much, but at the same time I don’t want to boo him I want to enjoy his last run.

If he was being booed like he’s supposed to be it wouldn’t bother me as much and just the logic behind it makes no sense. They should have known nobody is going to boo him his last year he had been getting universally cheered in all of his last few returns and they should have done the turn AT WrestleMania and the logic should have just been that he is old and washed and so desperate to win #17 that he did what he had to do. I think that would have played much better than him all of a sudden going from Superman to coward heel who stayed the course at One Night Stand but now all of a sudden decides he’s gonna care about it when everyone cheers him.

WWE is better when they don't drag out things or do time fillers. RAW after Mania usually is fast paced and bang bang bang because they need to capitalize on fallout of Mania with viewer intrigue.

If they went with this approach with less time to fill with Mania for example with just collapsing the show into 4 hours with using the best elements of Night 1 and Night 2 the PLE would have so much more sizzle to it.

The weak ending of Mania really created a debbie downer for a lot of people. But, let's face it, Cody is better at chasing a title than holding it for too long. Secondly, Raw after Mania was really well produced and showed a lot of potential. The women's division is fantastic. Overall a 4.5/5 for Raw

Ever since the fall of OG Bloodline storyline since Mania 40 my interest in the product has fallen off a cliff , i still stick around for few guys i like to see but i could not be bothered to tune in every week.
But Raw after Mania was a good show , i dont have much faith in Triple H but im looking forward how this Cena last run as champion goes before retirement.

The peak era of this current era was basically the Trial of Sami Zayn episode which was the first episode of 2023 I believe, until Raw after WM 40 2024 last year.

everything since has kind of been us waiting to see if it’s gonna continue being good, and it kind of was until 2025 came and it’s been underwhelming the last 4 months.

Hopefully once Cena retires, they can continue what they were building before his retirement tour that has basically put everything else on pause

WWE has sucked since 2008. It hasn't stopped sucking since then. I suppose there were some years not as bad as others, but none of them have been good. Triple Hs booking is even worse than late-stage Vince's booking. 90 percent of the show is filler and every angle and title reign is predictable and stretched out. Incredibly hard to watch

"Again"?

It's been bad since 2007.
Thought 08 was pretty solid, but I'm not going to nitpick a year.
