The future of the WWE changed forever last night, as WWE came to an agreement with USA network to terminate the broadcasting contract they hold which allows the WWE to televise both Monday Night Raw and Smackdown Live on Tuesday night's. We are being told at this moment that this was very much the intention of Vincent McMahon and Paul Levesque rather than being forced out of the deal, this is due to the WWE's intentions of becoming a more free lance organisation, they have switched programming to be exclusive to the WWE Network. This blockbuster announcement saw a huge increase in subscribers with Mr.McMahon reporting a record high 2.1 Million WWE Network subscribers, up from the last released numbers of 1.52 Million.

We are also being told that the WWE are in advanced negotiations with various independent Wrestling promotions such as Ring of Honor, Impact Wrestling, New Japan Pro Wrestling and many more with the view to negotiating a talent programme which would allow any wrestler from around the world to appear on WWE programming without a contract, and the same would be allowed for current WWE superstars to appear on certain Indy shows should they agree to their booking. This is positive steps for the entire Wrestling industry which means dream matches will be held all around the world. More news to come as and when we get it.

I have no clue how this would work booking-wise but on paper it sounds fantastic to me. I'm pro!
