Yeah, I'm gonna catch up on the latest episodes this weekend. Good series, though I prefer the older episodes as the dude is a lot less funny than he thinks & has started constantly shilling Tshirts all throughout the episodes.

 

I think it's a great recap series and showcases things that I missed when I watched the shows back at the time. He's given me more appreciation for wrestlers like Alex Wright for example.

Have been watching since the very beginning. Think it started back in the pandemic…jeez.

I love the way it has progressed from a miniscule dead serious summary of the weeks shows, to what it is today - a light hearted, quote filled, online wrestling phenomemon, and all because of (mainly) one guy. Ryan is a treasure.

The funniest moment for me was one of the episodes talking about an early from RAW from 97 when Savio Vega applied the dreaded nerve pinch of doom about five times in one match. He almost had a fit as it made the Davey Boy chinlocks look exhilirating in comparison.

Will admit I’m kinda glad the Alex Wright thing is done as that was getting on my nerves.

 

I used to watch during the pandemic and no one ever answered my question. Where is the dude from? I’m American, so British/Australian/South African/etc accents sound similar to me. What is he? Irish maybe?

 

He is very very Irish indeed.

 

A good two episodes here with the lead up to and the review of St Valentine's Massacre. Although the title match had some good and memorable spots, I forgot it was a draw. And it was a good call out by WB saying that in more brutal matches Mankind refused the stretcher job. So Interesting they went this way for the booking of the post match.

 

Watching through the last couple of episodes has reminded me just how much steam WCW could have had during the clusterfuck that was 1999. Every Nitro & PPV is still packed to the rafters.

They really did piss away a substantial & loyal fanbase with some utter shite during their final years

I knew he was bad…but to have it replayed every week in excruciating detail. It really is quite hilarious how fucking bad he was at pretty much everything.

 

Why does David always have red, puffy cheeks? I know Ric used to get pretty red in the face too when blowing a gasket mid-promo. Some kind of genetic thing? Or was David just really unfit?
