Roxanne... just because shes more of an overall package than Mercedes. Roxanne is talented in the ring, beautiful and doesn't have a huge ego (even after being called the Prodigy for most of her wrestling career so far).

I like Roxanne a lot. She is good, and has been good for some years now, but she is the age that Mercedes was when she had the match with Bayley in Brooklyn, the iron man match that followed, those couple of really good ones with Charlotte in NXT, the one with Becky at Unstoppable. Roxanne has never done anything on that level, even if you ignore the decade since.

 

Roxanne since Mercedes has some of the worst character work/mic skills in the business despite being a 15 year veteran.

 

Roxanne Perez has been one of my favorites since her Royal Rumble debut in 2023 while with Sasha Banks I feel like I was a fan of hers for about a week.🙃

 

I don't even know who Roxanne is, but it would still be hard for me to vote against her when she's against the most overrated female wrestler in history.

 

Roxanne is better. Why? Because she isn't Mercedes. That is all it takes.

Why?

 

Objectively Mercedes match catalogue is far deeper/better and she's had more of an impact on women's wrestling in general. She wins by default. She’s attractive and has always had star like quality to her presentation.

Roxanne is just getting started and has essentially been a jobber the whole time so far on the main roster. There’s nothing to go off of. She hasn’t had a feud. Roxanne is fine, I like her, but I'd be lying if I said I remembered any of her past matches. I remember plenty of Sasha/Mercedes matches though, both in WWE and AEW.

Nothing Roxanne has done has come close to Sasha vs Bianca or Mercedes vs Statlander, but as I said it’s still early in her career.

Better look? Mercedes Mone.

Hotter? Roxanne Perez (although to be fair, the gap isn't that wide).

Better wrestler? Mercedes Mone.

More charismatic? Mercedes Mone.

Better promo? Mercedes Mone.

Personal preference atm? Roxanne Perez (but it's pretty damn close).

Roxanne has lots going for her and a potentially bright future. She has done nothing in comparison to Mercedes though.

She is less botchy than Mone in ring amd probably smoother but generally just as wooden on the mic. Think she has improved there though. Impact in the business though..this shouldn't be a discussion. IF that is the discussion.

There are plenty of low-mid card people you could have arguments about vs top card wrestlers in terms of potential and in ring ability. WWE isnt lacking talent. Wrong place, wrong time maybe but the career resumes and match catalogs in big occssions arent close.
