Of all the people who have signed with AEW, who do you think is the worst signing in history?

Yeah. I know he had some health issues but there were also rumours he was lazy af in WWE and that, along with his dipshit way of speaking/promos, was why they dumped him.

Dude seems lazy too me🤷‍♂️

Also that dumb face he pulls when he gets in the ring, and the "conducting the orchestra" shit. You ain't that good, pal.

He's done a couple of legit cool things in the ring, like a big move, or got someone to catch some serious hight, etc. But I cannot even remember one good match he's had, start to finish.

If I am missing any bangers refresh my memory by all means and I'll give credit where's it's due. But I can't remember any....

Saraya by a landslide. She almost single-handedly killed their women's division this year with the Outcasts angle. She's a dogshit wrestler with no upside whatsoever. She can't cut a promo, most of the fanbase hates her, and everyone tunes out of her segments. She offers absolutely nothing of value to this company.

Adam Page is worthless so he gets my vote.

And to all the moronic post about CM Punk? Let it be clear that he was constantly generating business for AEW more so than anyone else that was there before or after him. And still to this day they have no one to replace him. Tony made more money off of Punks name more so than any other single wrestler in the promotion that he's grossly overpaying. I'm sure Tony has already made back whatever he paid Punk in the first place.

But guess who cost Tony Kahn millions?

The guys that sabotaged your biggest money maker.

The guys that fucked your video game over and produced a piece of shit.

The guys that don't give a fuck and just want to put on bangers and jerk each other off in the ring while never really building to anything substantial that will have payoff.

I'd say all of the people who fit in any of the reasons I've just stated are alot worse signings than mean ol Phil.

It’s not Punk, I get why people are saying it is, but it’s not.

Matt Hardy has been enormously underwhelming, Keith Lee sucks, Janela flopped, Yuta is a dud. These guys have not delivered at all.

Punk, for all the backstage shenanigans, was their top merch seller, sold out an arena just on a rumour, delivered a great feud or two, and was a big deal.

Orange Cassidy. Imagine him not being on our TV. It would have made things so much better.

For those mentioning Punk the guy was literally a gold mine. I blame TK for having handled it so badly. Hell for not even having a storyline ready out of the gate. He was like "I want to wrestle" so he had a rating bump for one week and it died the week later. Cause there was nothing to interest people about. They could have created a mystery...something to make people come back.

And then another gold mine, that whole controversy after his title match calling out the Elite and so forth. They even overshadowed a big WWE event that had happened the night before. Again TK did nothing with it. It could have been the biggest storyline since the Monday Night Wars. Have him cut a promo the next night on the Elite(even if he is injured). Things could have exploded. This was the kind of opporunity that will never happen again for this company.

Punk certainly helped business... but was it really worth it, considering his (assuambly) huge salary?

He only had 33 matches in two years. As he spent a huge ammount of time injured or suspended.
On top of that, he caused a lot of tension backstage and even on screen scandals.

So yeah. AEW has certainly hired plenty of wrestlers less talented, with much less drawing power/merch sales than Punk. But when you take into account how expensive Punks contract probably was (Especially if you divide his yearly salary by his yearly matches) and all the controversies that made AEW look like a complete amateur company run by a dweeb boss, you have to wonder if it was worth it from a business standpoint.

Matt Hardy.

Most of the others were on tv so little they didn’t effect the show a ton but Matt Hardy hit that sweet spot of being on TV just enough to be annoying and his embarrassing antics aren’t even over with the aew crowd like the embarrassing antics of some of the others.

Gallows and Anderson would be a good vote if they were ever signed because despite being a TNA signing they managed to be the worst act in AEW in such a short period of time.
