My guess is Rock ab-libed saying owning your soul instead of owning you because of the slavery implications of the later. Sort of like when 90's cartoons used to censor guns into laser guns to avoid gun violence complaints.

I mean Rock talked in circles but he's basically saying he wants Cody to be his Corporate Champion. I imagine Cody will say "no" at Elimination Chamber, and Rock will play a role into whoever Cody's opponent is at Mania, presumably Cena.

It could be something interesting, with perhaps Rock wanting Cody to be "his champion" but then going with someone else when Cody declines. Thing is I don't know who that someone else would be. Cena? I mean it would be a hell of a twist but a weird move to pull in Cena's final year.

Cody turning heel with Rock would be a cool move, but you need a good face to counter that. Who is that going to be? Reigns? Punk? Priest? Meh... They don't cut it for me. Cena? Possibly, but the storyline should be really good as it is his final year.
