Was Owen Hart's death an "accident?"

The older I get, the more I wonder, did Vince McMahon intentionally kill Owen Hart? If not intentional, the negligence was so extreme somebody should've gone to jail. How did nobody see the red flags? Was it punishment for breaking Stone Cold Steve Austin's neck? Or for rejecting storylines (Debra McMichael)?

Was it a tragic accident nobody was expecting? Or was he knowingly put in a very unsafe situation (sabotage)? I suspect foul play. Maybe I'm a conspiracy theorist, though. What do you think?

I guess you're right... But in the conspiracy theorist defense, he was in the doghouse so Vince wanted to punish him by having him take a "Mick Foley-level" risk with the quick release (an unsafe stunt) and Owen was afraid to say "no" for rejecting prior storylines.

On the Sunday Night Heat before Over The Edge 1999, Vince McMahon looks up at the rafters and gulps, almost like he knows Owen is going to take a tremendous risk later that night. The name of the PPV is "OVER THE EDGE." And The Undertaker was talking about dark hearts and sacrifices. I guess it's coincidental and an unexpected accident, but it's certainly interesting.

There is no way he was intentionally killed ..thay being said after watching Darkseid of the ring and seeing just how negligent they were and using a mechanism he wasn't use to ..someone should've been held liable ..and Vince was a cunt for suing the widow
