Let’s be honest, it’s the Lawler commentary that makes this segment.

 

Another sign that all of the Attitude Era components were there, but their creative direction had turned to shit. The fact that they stretched this shit on for years is even worse

Call me crazy but I liked this angle, Vince was on such a power trip and the pay-off was very climactic with Rock, Austin, Trish and Rikishi humiliating Vince..

The only weird thing was the babyfaces conspiring with the man that attempted murder on one of them and tried to frame it on the other, but hey let's not nitpick lol

The Kliqless era is very underrated, it's mostly remembered for the failed Invasion but the main event scene with Austin and Rock working with Jericho and Angle was refreshing, and you could tell the stars were having the time of their lives performing for the crowds during then, before all the shit that went down in 2002

 

fuck....this is the most embarrassing moment for wrestling fans. This is "how to chase away a potential girlfriend" level bullshit.

 

The fact that regal, and anyone else, did not quit if they were forced to do this, shows they know nothing about wrestling or are just simply spineless.
