The other "Top 10 Wrestlers of the 90's" thread inspired me to post this. Anyways, how would your list compare to this-

1. Hulk Hogan
2. Randy Savage
3. Andre the Giant
4. Ultimate Warrior
5. Ric Flair
6. Roddy Piper
7. Jerry Lawler
8. Ricky Steamboat
9. Dusty Rhodes
10. Sting

*honorable mention- Jake Roberts, Sgt. Slaughter, Terry Funk, Jimmy Snuka, and JYD

ps- The criteria is simple for this one. Just based on star power aka household names. If this was based on workrate, talent, or longevity, it would be a very different list.

I just lol when you write Randy Savage as 2...

Andre fucking the Giant was 5 times bigger than Randy...

I'm so sick of these new **** "Randy Savage" wwe fanboys...

Nobody cared about Macho Man that much, until he passed away. Hard truth. Nobody even cared after 99-00 when he retired. Nobody said anything for 11 years.
He barely had a fanbase in WCW, and his career went stale in WWE...

And then we people die, WWE milk money to wind up new wwe fanboys to jump on it.

Andre The Giant, Ric Flair, Road Warriors, etc were all bigger than him...

First, a lot of these guys are always going to be 80s wrestlers to me; Pipper, Lawler, Dusty, Steamboat, etc.

Savage was a great Intercontinental Champion. His feud with Honky Tonk is underrated. But he's still not the #2 guy on the list. I would be happy to switch him out with Ric Flair on the OP's list. Savage was snapping into Slim Jims while Ric Flair was getting interviewed on regular TV and being treated like a star.

I'd move Sting up higher as well. Struggling to keep Andre so high up the rankings; Biggest match in wrestling history but not really a big contributor to wrestling in the 90s after that.

EVERYONE knew the Road Warriors.

@krillep-Yeah one of the most popular wrestlers who made a pretty good transition to mainstream relevance with his incredible charisma was not popular at all. WWE has done fuck all to promote him since he died apart from releasing a couple of DVDs and inducting him in their version of a Hollywood awards show the night before their biggest PPV. Stop spreading lies about someone just because you don't like him. If you feel he is not worthy enough in "your" list, it is fine.
