You know, as a gimmicks lover, i was kinda pleased by that idea of making a vikings gimmick. It's not that it was going to be great, but at least it could be a bit different. But after watching the Viking Raiders a couple of times, I'm really troubled by their presentation.
They do not pass as Norse. It's like, if it was just one of them, it'd be okay. But one of them should be a bit taller, and other should be a bit paler or blonder or something. I mean, obviously not every Danish, Norwegian or Swedish is platinum blonde with grey eyes and 1'95 meters tall. But if you want to create a gimmick about vikings, then they should look more like prototypical vikings (towering, pale, etc) and less like regular ********.
They use generic CFO$ hard rock instead of something remotely 'vikingish'. Self-explanatory. Their theme has nothing to do with the gimmick.
Their entrance attire is... what the heck are these headpieces? Could they use something that resemble actual viking helmets and armors or something?
I can't even understand what were they thinking in WWE when they created this gimmick.
