Fucking hell, Cody wrestling with a torn pec and now Punk finishing a match with a torn tricep.

Fair play, some of these guys may be geeks but they're certainly tough.

Punk looked noticeably bigger in the upper body since coming back from the foot injury. Putting on too much muscle, too quickly, at a certain age — especially when you can’t train in the ring in conjunction with the weight room — can obviously be an issue.

But yes, definitely tough to finish a match with a torn tricep. Kudos to him.

He's a pro wrestler, they're tougher than normal people.

Public opinion will swing back his way a little if photos of his injury emerge in the coming days.

Next, people will slowly start to wonder if it's a work.

We know Punk's passion for storytelling is back. We know he loves MJF, and that he's invested 9 months into crafting a beautiful story for MJF to emerge as the "new" CM Punk. We know Punk has spent a year saying "I'm so disappointed in you" to most of the next generation of talent rising up, while only praising the WWE guys. We know Moxley called Punk "fragile body, fragile mind" days before the PPV.

Finally, we know that this has created enormous buzz for AEW and shifted all the talk back to AEW after WWE had stolen the spotlight for the first time in 3 years.

Let's f'ing go!

You're a massive clown.

Let it go, its not a work. May be hard to believe for AEW nut huggers like you, but not everything in AEW is perfect.

I'm sure adrenaline did its part, but fucking hell. He must have done way more damage by continuing. What did he GTS him 3 times?? Of all the moves. Jeez. People talk about too many flips and dives, and I think they overdo it, but that right there was the ultimate example of a match that would not have been lessened one bit if he'd gone for the old sliding dropkick instead of a middle-aged man diving headfirst through the fucking ropes. Did he not also hurt his foot doing some kind of dive or leap? GIVE IT UP, MAN! You don't have to do everything Terry Funk did.

Has he said this he said he was 100% after the match and looked fine. If sat this a kayfabe way of softening the suspension and to keep him out of the way til things settle down. If true then it just confirms the bucks and omega are the 3 biggest pussies in the business when they got sent packing by an old bleeding injured guy right after his match. At least they have finally been exposed now.
