It seems like every Tista thread that pops up someone has to reference the fact that Batista is 45? Okay and? Why are we so obsessed with age on the IWC? Old age by definition is 65+ which is called late adulthood. If Fit Finlay, Sting, Steiner, and Flair wrestled to their mid and late 50s why are we complaining about wrestlers in their 40s? The guy probably wanted a more satisfying ending to his career, nothing wrong with that (not that i'm saying he should have won the rumble) but would you want your last membrance to be the guy that was in a wheelchair saying "I QUIT". Bryan and company will be around for many more years and have plenty of time to win more and more accomplishments.
I have an analogy, there's this show called "Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta" where one of the girls named Joseline keeps pointing out that another girl named "Karlie" is old. Karlie looks stunning and Joseline keeps pointing out that she's old in comparison. Why though? If you saw an 85 year old walking down the street, you wouldn't have to shout that they are old because its obvious right? Joseline was jealous plain and simple, and wish she could look like Karlie at that age.
Is this what we are doing with Batista? The guy looks great at 45 and I feel as though people keep pointing out that he's 45 and old because of the fact that he looks good, otherwise you wouldn't need to say it a billion times to let that fact known. Most of us would only dream to look like he does at that age. So again people why is AGE such a thing across this baord? Or the media in general? Why do we let a chronological number define everything?
