The OP doesnt seem to understand that Batistas age just gets throwin in there with other reasons why people dislike him.
Noone said he doesnt like batista because he is 45, people dislike him cause first he takes a valuable spot for new talent , his in ring work is bad , his cardio is bad ,his mic work is bad and he doesnt even look good, he doesnt have "IT" that makes you stick around and watch him.

To prove my point i will give an example with Goldust , he is 44 , his body doesnt look as good as Batistas however, he has "IT", his in ring work is great ,his cardio is great and he DOESNT take a valuble spot like the main even of WM .And as you can see Goldust is overall adored around here.

Age doesn't matter.. If they still can work who cares. Hogan was 45, 46 during the NWO's hey day and was 50 when he came to the WWF again in 2002.. People don't like when older guys steal younger guys spots which is just stupid.. Would Alex Wright of been a better fit as the leader of the NWO?
If You don't think the Wunderkind could have been a main event player. I'm afraid I have some bad news.

Yeah I don't care about age at all either. What bothers me is how a guy returns after 4 years, barely did anything relevant while he wasnt wrestling, and returns to win the RR and eventually the title at WM30. It's one of the most stupid decisions ever. This kind of moves hurt the whole wrestling industry in general...they made the WWE look like a complete joke.
Totally agree. The Rock who also cambe back in and winning the title after a couple of matches makes the others look lame. If you're still wrestling in the company for the X years Batista was out for the WWE then fair enough, but if he wins WM30 it will be a piss-take. I'd much rather have seen Roman in there instead, now that would have been interesting. But Batista, *yawwwwwwn*

Batista should turn for heel for many reasons. One, it allows him to be more entertaining. Two, he can work as a big guy heel and not have to work as hard

I think he is actually 48. He changed his DOB lol.
:clap
His date of birth in OVW was 1966 and it was changed to 1969 for 'professional reasons'. Basically people were taking the piss out of his age. The thing is, everyone talks about part timers coming back to steal the spotlight, The Rock was 39/40 when he came back, Lesnar was 34/35. Batista is pushing 50 (48), should he really be headlining anything anymore? Is it best for business to have a guy that age take spots from Daniel Bryan or CM Punk. WMXXX was rumoured to be Orton vs Punk and Bryan vs HHH back in November, I can see why Punk left really.

People who care about Batista's (or anybody's) age are crazy, since when is this a criteria in Wrestling ? Or in life in general
