looks like cody has some control, this was his plan when he thought about going to wwe and refusing to turn heel at AEW in his final months. He wanted to save it for a future storyline in WWE. He's really is taking things from Homelander.

 

It's probably in Cody's deal to not ever be Stardust again. Since Cody has some leverage this time due to what he had built for himself outside of WWE.

Hopefully they don't tweak Cody Rhodes at all though. Let the guy use the same music and everything that he has used for years now. It's not in their best interest to change Cody.
