None of those second third generation wrestlers failed their way up like she has. Other than maybe David Flair who else has been as bad as her? She’s not even a convincing GM.

Even David eventually had some entertainment factor once he started getting a little more comfortable and put him with Daffney and Crowbar. Granted he still sucked in ring and on mic, but they definitely leveraged his awkwardness into something worth a chuckle or two.

Ava works for a generation and demographic that I don't feel like 90% of the people here understand.

She has improved. I'm not her biggest fan, but I can see how she does appeal in the same way the game skate. exists as it does.

I think the issue with this promo is more it not having any real interaction from an audience, studio or otherwise, so it falls flat. They (WWEl have a habit with doing this in general though. It feels very sterilised.

I'd understand the criticisms more if she was an actual in-ring talent but they moved her away from that ages ago. She's done well in her role as GM of NXT in my opinion, I think most people moved on from the whole nepotism stuff though, she seems fairly popular in this role.

I just don't think it's that deep.

What baffles me over and over again is how all of these multi generational talents virtually never take after their fathers. If their father was Ric Flair, you get Charlotte, if their father was Mr. Perfect, you get Curtis Axel, if their father was The Rock, who is charisma in human form, you get anti-charisma in human form.....but if their father was some dullard like IRS, you get Bray Wyatt.

If your mother was Mae Young, you get a hand.
