I fear Tony Khan would rather go down with the ship, but at some point you’d think he would realize (or his dad would put his foot down and tell him) that things aren’t working and he needs to hire competent professionals to take over creative and production.

(Now that I think about it, his dad has been running the Jaguars for quite a while now so I guess he doesn’t understand this either.)

Even the sickos are turning away and tuning out. Booking for them hasn’t secured a solid floor or base on which AEW can count to keep things level set and steady — so if you’re losing them to me that’s more reason to try something different. ANYTHING different. New set. New announce team. Focus on some different stars and realize the Hangman thing isn’t working, Mox isn’t getting it done. Nobody cares about the Bucks. Kenny’s on his way out the door.

So cut some dead weight and go full lucha and try to win the Latino demo. Make Toni Storm your centerpiece and become a women’s promotion. Or hire some hosses and turn the ones you have loose to beat up all the pencil-neck geeks. But do SOMETHING.

Its a sinking ship every week. How much longer will this keep sinking?

Tony's father have 14,4 billions. It's gonna be VERY long sinking.

WBD's money is the key. Without a major network, AEW would be bleeding absurd amounts of money. And regardless of how much TK's dad is worth, I doubt he wants to bleeding close to 100 million dollars a year for his son's vanity project. Plus it's not like all that money is cash in some vault. Most of his assets are probably tied up in property and business valuations.

Oh I’m sure Shad would be wiling to sell the Jaguars to keep AEW afloat.

Looks like the brand is on life support.

If Tony could step aside, hire a game changing writer, scrap the gymnastics and frankly unrealistic format of in ring kick outs, bring in a big name to draw in casuals and show viewers the show is moving in the right direction than AEW could see a boost in fortune.

I expect the show will end up on some niche channel/service in the US with Amazon picking up rights for the online side of things.

PPV attendances will drop to around 6k but regularly hit that number, meanwhile weekly dynamites will get between 500-1000.

AEW will then just become Impact V2, linger around until TK shuts it down for good, or a decent network gives it another shot ten years down the line perhaps.
