Oh, I realize that. I just said that it’s kind of your gimmick — from my perspective, it seems you will sometimes post from a very ‘everything is great’ point of view to get a rise out of the non-sickos, but your posts taken as a whole reveal you do find fault in things AEW/Tony does from time to time and say so.

So by the gimmick part, I was trying to say you come off that way sometimes and deliberately so, but you are a good poster who contributes beyond that. I just didn’t make my point very well.

Honestly, I do value you here and am glad you post. Nothing wrong with liking AEW, haha. I like some of it myself.
Appreciate it dude!

I imagine it will look terrible on TV when they will only be around 6k people if that in a 20k+ stadium.
Yeah, the first one got 20,100. This one looks like it will get about 30% of that. Not sure if Taylor Swift is involved in the sabotage on this event yet.

They're gonna comp this pretty heavily, they will probably open up a couple more sections and get to 7500-8000 by showtime, but a lot of those tix will be for free unfortunately.
Makes no sense giving so much away for free. It stops people buying in the future if they know they can just wait till last minute and get it free or for peanuts.

Better to book smaller venues till business picks up imo.

The upper seats yes those will be comped, the rest they sold it mostly due to announcing Nigel vs Dragon and Mox vs Darby.
Hm, I doubt that. AEW was advertising a much bigger match for months with Darby and Danielson for the World Title. I have a hard time believing that many tickets went out for two matches of less consequence.

That and Nigel is practically unknown to most fans as a wrestler.

Nah, they're giving them away so it'll look better on television.

They technically never announced Bryan/Darby or the title shot, it was just mentioned a couple times on commentary which is still misleading but they left it open, card subject to change

I would like to go to the Pittsburgh show next week, but wanted to wait for prices to drop. I just got an email with a BOGO offer, but even not-great seats are still $90 + fees.

I'd pay $80 total for 2 tickets to good seats. I'm hoping they continue to decrease; might check the day of.

TWO4ONE is the promo code if you're interested, though.

A lot of late movement for Grand Slam. They announced a lot of stuff and this crowd is getting a 4 hour show.

Hitting 8300-8500 is down on last year but at least this will look and sound good on TV.

theyve moved quite a lot of tix in the past 2-3 days according to that wrestletix graphic above and if i remember correctly they had a VERY large walk up last year, and id argue tonights card is a lot better than last years was...im going tonight, first time at that venue, looking forward to it

Down big from last year, and every year before that for Grand Slam. Only set up for 8239?! Yikes.:
