Fact for Joe fans:

Listening to the Steve Austin Show today and his guest was the powerful, acrofatic Samoa Joe.

When Austin asked him where is finisher came from, Joe admitted he saw it on a popular Japanese anime based on pro-wrestling, Ultimate Muscle, or rather, Kinnukman.

I always suspected that Joe had taken the move from the series, knowing that he worked in Japan so much. Being a fan of the series, and Joe, I had to :mark: at the connection.

Here is the move being demonstrated on Tifa from FFVII in sultry German.

WHAT A MANEUVER :punk

So now you know.

I enjoyed this podcast. I had no idea Joe was already 35 years old. Stone cold is really complimentary of him though and has said stuff on Twitter in the past about how he thinks Joe is money and a good worker. I use to love watching him in TNA years ago. Was one of my favorites in the business. Shame I just can't get into his character like I use to.

Hardly breaking news, next thing you know it'll be 'discovered' that Jushin Liger 'stole' the Shooting Star Press from Fist of The North Star ;)

"Kinniku Buster". It was also used by the character king in the Tekken game series.

Yah I remember the move in Tekken from awhile ago. Nowadays though, every move in wrestling has been used before, besides some *really* crazy lucha stuff, even then I'm sure some of that stuff has been used before too.
