Re: WWE Extreme Rules Discussion Thread

Wow what a shit card!

I'll watch the Taker tag team match later, it'll most likely be the best match on this dog shit of a show.

I pray to the lord they start doing something meaningful with Rollins and Balor. It is sickening to see dudes like Kofi, Shane and Corbin in the main event spot while Rollins is working with a shit bag and Fin Balor is hardly used.

Re: WWE Extreme Rules Discussion Thread

So the only match that genuinely could have been "Extreme" is Drew Gulak vs Tony Nese.
Gulak is a fantastic well rounded performer and has a history of how to do a extreme style match but guess what , all bets are on for the one match with potential to be bumped to the kick off show.

The way WWE structure their pay per views proves what they view as priority and it will be all the micromanaged Vince shit that will get the time and booking on the pay per view like the unhealthy obsession with love match and nepotism.

A extreme match with Gulak and Nese could really provide a refreshing alternative for a pay per view but I bet they don't get the chance.

If WWE really are serious about change (and I have a lot of doubts on that) then their pay per views really need restructuring as well as the names , for example don't promote a event called "Extreme Rules" when it will be as extreme as a morning in the sand pit at kindergarten.

Re: WWE Extreme Rules Discussion Thread

Hope they add Nak vs. Balor. With most matches having at least some decent booking and enough time may become a good watch. If Kofi's not too hurt, his match with Joe can be real good. Nak vs. Balor can't go wrong. They've actually booked Strowman vs. Lashley very well so far, actually wish it was just a regular one on one match.

Re: WWE Extreme Rules Discussion Thread

Lesnar not showing up would be a genuine surprise.

Re: WWE Extreme Rules Discussion Thread

Alright, throwing in my predictions for this, winners in blue...

Seth Rollins (c) and Becky Lynch (c) vs. Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans:

Easy prediction here. They are simply not running with Lacey and Corbin as champions moving into their second biggest PPV of the year. Both losing the title also would involve a rematch which I don't see them going for. At best we see Lesnar cash in on Rollins post-match.

The Undertaker and Roman Reigns vs. Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre:

Another easy prediction. Reigns will get his win back from Shane and this will end their feud as Shane moves on to feud with Owens. Drew I think may end up teaming up with Ziggler to go for the tag titles.

Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Samoa Joe:

Joe practically never wins and I don't see him taking the title from Kofi here so Kofi retains. Quite possible that Lesnar cashes in on Kofi instead specially if they (as it seems) want to continue the Becky/Rollins relationship angle going.

Bayley (c) vs. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross:

Bayley retains after Alexa and Nikki have fallout and cost themselves the match. I was thinking that maybe Sasha would return here but after seeing the supposed reason why this is a handicap match it doesn't seems likely.

Drew Gulak (c) vs. Tony Nese:

Gulak retains. Blind shot as I don't keep up with 205 Live.

Daniel Bryan and Rowan (c) vs. The New Day vs. Heavy Machinery

Not sure with this one. Could see them putting the titles on New Day so that all three of them hold gold but I could also see them building up Have Machinery and keeping Daniel/Rowan strong. Not sure but going with Daniel/Rowan here.

Aleister Black vs. Cesaro

I think Black gets the win here as he needs it more than Cesaro in order to gain a foothold on the main roster.

Ricochet (c) vs. AJ Styles

They are said to be very high on Ricochet at the moment but I could see them giving Styles the win in order to do a rematch at SummerSlam, so I'll go with him.

Braun Strowman vs. Bobby Lashley

Strowman gets the win here. They are higher on him than they are on Lashley. No idea what either of them will do at SummerSlam tho.

The Revival (c) vs. The Usos

I think The Revival retains here.

...

Well, let's see how the predictions turn out this Sunday

If the card wasn’t bad or boring enough, you then try and get me hyped for a show called “Extreme Rules” with a bunch of talking red lips?

Honestly who in the hell comes up with such shit?

The only thing extreme from this show that I hope to see is Tarp’s involvement. Cover as much as you can big man, get EXTEME!!!!!

Re: WWE Extreme Rules Discussion Thread

*looks at card*

Yeah this PPV can go fu*k itself. Becky Lynch needs to get as far as away as possible from those 3. With Summerslam being right around the corner though, it's a safe bet that she walks out with the gold.

The rest of the card is meaningless. Aleister Black vs Cesaro is gonna be awesome though.

"THE MAN" Becky Lynch. The first WWE Superstar to be on the cover of ESPN.
