Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Competitors dangling perilously above the ring while perched atop ladders, death-defying stunts, a career-altering contract and general carnage? Sounds like the third annual Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

The yearly extravaganza will feature eight of Raw and SmackDown LIVE’s most daring female Superstars once again risking life and limb for the chance to secure a guaranteed championship opportunity anytime and anywhere in the following year.

Carmella won the inaugural contest, Alexa Bliss grabbed the briefcase last year, and each went on to cash in their contract to win the SmackDown Women’s Title and the Raw Women’s Championship, respectively.

As revealed by Bliss during the latest edition of “A Moment of Bliss,” Raw’s Naomi, Natalya, Dana Brooke and The Goddess herself were set to enter the treacherous contest. However, just a few days prior to the career-altering showdown, it was announced that Five Feet of Fury was not medically cleared to compete and would be removed from the contest. In her place would be Nikki Cross, who overcame fellow Money in the Bank Ladder Match competitors Natalya, Naomi and Dana Brooke in a Fatal 4-Way Match just days earlier on Raw.

On the SmackDown LIVE side of the free-for-all, it was revealed that Bayley, Ember Moon, Carmella and Mandy Rose will represent the blue brand in the Ladder Match.

With ladders scattered around the ring, who will conquer the opposition, climb the dangerous rungs, grab the Money in the Bank briefcase and capture the life-changing contract to earn an opportunity to challenge a World Champion anytime they wish in the next year? Find out at WWE Money in the Bank, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network Sunday, May 19, at 7 ET/4 PT.

Good luck to Ember and Bayley in carrying this. This looks like a train wreck in the making.

I'm going with the bad booking decision of Mandy Rose. Alexa is getting a title shot against Becky regardless. Bayley and Ember Moon? Nah I think Vince goes with the blonde upset.

"THE MAN" Becky Lynch. The FIRST WWE Superstar to be on the cover of ESPN.
The FIRST woman to pin Ronda Rousey.
The FIRST Undisputed Women's Champion.

Re: Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match

this is why i hate having two champions AND a tag belt with such a small roster. Most of these women have been champion already, so the chase is meaningless and lacking. If there were ONE true champion, there'd be less champions, and more people clamoring for the top (and moments).

And for some reason, they'd rather have Natalya, Naomi, Dana Brooke instead of new blood like Ruby Riott, Nikki Cross, Kairi Sane, and iiconics (yeah i know they're tag champs, but they should go for singles belts too).

Mandy Rose is the only person who should win this..... or an Ember or Bayley win with a subsequent heel turn

Re: Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match

This is going to suck HARD. The safe bet is probably Bayley or more likely Alexa again (ugh) but they'll probably pull a swerve for no reason and give it to Dana or something no one asked for in Natalya.

Basically, the result is going to suck.

This is such a boring lineup. I hope Alexa doesn't win again, last year was bad enough.

I'm rooting for Alexa. The reaction alone will be worth it.
