Re: AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton

This week's shows have killed all interest I have in WM and this company.

How can something be this bad?

First they have Lesnar and do fuck all, then they have his opponent lose on TV weeks out from WM.

Then they give a whole hr to a career jobber and give him pins over Randy fucking Orton and Samoa Joe

We've literally gone from an iron man match between Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle to Kofi Kingston running the gauntlet. You couldn't find a more apt line to sum up modern WWE.

Wow he pinned Joe too? I only watch the highlights of the match and assumed he was DQ'd. This company is the worst. They treat someone like a jobber for years then give them a push out of nowhere which brings down everyone else who has to put them over. This isn't as bad as Jinder but it's still pretty bad.

Selfishly as a fan I'm saddened that AJ resigned.

Same here

AJ is making money, but as a fan selfishly I think the opponents and freedom outside the WWE would have been amazing. In the WWE is just another guy, doing fuck all. He's peaked there and it's all downhill sadly.

I don't expect him to achieve anything these next 3 years and he may fall away like Orton has i.e. random matches/feuds on cards, doesn't show up much and isn't in big matches anymore. They've already been doing it since he lost the title.

For AJ's sake I hope he got a huge contract out of it, atleast then I can be happy knowing he's making bank for mediocrity.

This match could use a swerve.

Lars Sullivan debut anyone?

Crushes both and causes a no decision.

Re: AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton

Has there been any sort of build since the promo 3(?) weeks ago? I work late and where I live, Arizona, doesn't observe daylight savings so I can only can the last half hour of Smackdown these days. If I'm lucky a bit more. Please tell me there's been something more to this build; with only one week of taping left before Wrestlemania, Smackdown's feuds haven't been thought about to my knowledge.

They’ve done something every week with them. The promo where they talked about the knockoff diamond cutter and orton holding up too sweet was two weeks ago and this week Orton interrupted the AJ/Angle match and RKO’d AJ.

Such lazy booking, but I'll take it. Thank you.

I mean I see where it’s lazy booking but it did protect both Styles and Angle going into wrestlemania. It sucks but it make sense for once.
