So I've booked the HGU Hotel and the Hilton Brooklyn Hotel.

HGU is close to Axxess and Times Square but a trek from the Barclays and Metlife. The Hilton is close to Barclays but a trek from touristy things. I think I'll go with the Hilton because its nice leaving the shows and being back in the room quickly. Avoid uber surges or subway queues. And 3/4 shows are at Barclays.

What hotels are people looking at and why?

Is anyone getting a NJ hotel just for Sunday night?

I'm looking at The Tillary Hotel Brooklyn. It's about a mile from the Barclays Center but I'm also keeping my options open and I'm also waiting to see what WrestleCon open up.

Re: WrestleMania 35 - The Ultimate Travel Thread VI

I've booked a room with the Super 8 that's less than a mile from Barclay's Center. It's 159$ a night average, but I'm staying for 6 days, since I plan to attend most of the WWN shows, after attending like 4 in New Orleans. If they do the massive VIP package, I may just do that and stay there most of the days. It was 500$ for 11 events for the front row for all WWN events, so I'm thinking about doing that instead of just getting individual tickets.

Re: WrestleMania 35 - The Ultimate Travel Thread VI

What are your guys' opinions on staying in 'West New York' aka the edge of New Jersey.

I've found some great deals (£400 for 7 nights) and the places claim to be 'minutes from times square'. Obviously I've google mapssed them and seen it takes about 20 minutes by bus.

Is this area viable for Mania, or would it be more sensible to pay a bit extra and stay in Manhattan?

Booked the Wyndham Garden in Brooklyn for $170/night.

Will probably keep this unless Wrestlecon hotels are that much better.

I'll def be staying in Times Square or close by, cos I bet that's where WWE will put travel package people. Plus, we got put in the Marriott in Times Square for our Summerslam package in 2016 even though all the events were in Brooklyn WWE seems to love the Marriott brand cos they also used them for Mania this year, so they could potentially be a package hotel again.

Have just booked at the Made Hotel, right near the Flatiron District in Manhattan. A really nice area, for anyone that hasnít been. Pretty much in the middle of the city north/south.

Iím from Australia, and booked 10 nights for an absurdly cheap rate of $164usd per night. Considering the regular prices in NYC, this is an exceptionally cheap rate for such a nice hotel.

Re: WrestleMania 35 - The Ultimate Travel Thread VI

I've got to see some schedules and locations before I decide what I want to do. Ideally it works out Thursday: Wrestlecon Super Show, Friday: ROH, Saturday: NXT, Sunday Mania and maybe throw an afternoon show in on Friday and/or Saturday. I love my Wrestlemania trip but the thought of only taking 2 or 3 days off from work is exciting. Bank that vacation time for something else.

Re: WrestleMania 35 - The Ultimate Travel Thread VI

So I figured I'd be out for Mania next year. I'm running the NYC Marathon in November so already making a trip there soon, plus looking at weather in April this year and it didn't seem so appealing. But I caught the bug. I had so much fun at our first Mania this year. My husband and I usually take a solo trip without our kids to Disney World every February for the Princess 1/2 marathon but we decided after this year to chill on trips to Disney. Our anniversary is April 10. So today I proposed my genius idea to him. He's been wanting to take a trip to NYC, we aren't doing our Disney trip in Feb, why not spend our anniversary weekend in NYC and go to Wrestlemania. He's not a wrestling fan and has never been to a live show so I figured he'd be a hard sell. But he said maybe, we'll discuss it. And happy wife, happy life is his motto so that's basically a yes. So now I've got to go read over this thread to figure out logistics because it looks like we're going to Mania next year lol.

Re: WrestleMania 35 - The Ultimate Travel Thread VI

Never been to new York. What's the best area to stay in hotel wise in terms of partying AND not being too far from events? I loved NOLA cuz NY hotel was 2 min from bourbon street. Where am I most likely to find drunk wrestling fans partying at 1am during 35? Times square?
