Re: Crown Jewel Discussion Thread. Streaming live on Thursday, Oct. 31, at 1 p.m. ET.
The match I'm the most 'hyped' (it's not exactly hype though) for is Seth vs. Bray. Maybe because it has an actual, captivating build up despite being somewhat cringe. I want Bray to win the match and the title, but I'm not expecting a reasonable finish or a title change. This feud may as well end after Crown Jewel, unless what we will see after it is Rollins feuding with 205 Live guys or beating guys like Owens, Joe, Drew... Then I'd much rather see the Bray/ Seth feud continue, as messy as it is.
Braun vs. Fury doesn't help Braun in any way imo, not even if he wins. They could pull a good brawl, but I'm not feeling it. Braun doesn't need to build credibility against a non-wrestler. He needs to be US champion at the very least since he's losing all matches for the world titles anyways. Still doesn't ruin his credibility that much from my point of view so yeah, give him a good feud with Nakamura and put the IC title on him already, if they don't plan on doing that soon then Fury can honestly win this one. They may as well stop using Braun if they are just going to make him job out all the time or put him in matches that don't help him.
I'll admit Lesnar vs. Cain has potential, and could easily be my favorite match on the card if they go all out and we see blood. I hope Lesnar wins, otherwise the title will be held captive on Cain until WM where Lesnar will likely get the title back. At least if Lesnar wins at Crown Jewel, we know that instead of him going back for the title at WM, there's a chance he loses it at WM against Roman, Braun, Bryan, or Bray, idk. I'd like any of them, maybe expect for Bryan since he feels stale as a face lately. I'd love Miz or Roode or Corbin or even fucking Jeff/Matt Hardy too, but that's clearly not happening.
GOATs - 1. Undertaker 2. Stone Cold 3. Shawn Michaels 4. Chris Jericho 5. The Rock 6. Ric Flair 7. John Cena 8. Hulk Hogan 9. Triple H 10. Randy Orton 11. Edge 12. Kane 13. Goldberg
RAW - 1. Samoa Joe 2. Kevin Owens 3. Drew McIntyre 4. Aleister Black 5. Randy Orton 6. Brock Lesnar 7. Bobby Lashley (could have had Rollins here if he was heel) 8. AJ Styles 9. EC3 10. Jinder Mahal 11. Erick Rowan 12. Seth Rollins (even as face he's better than all these athletic vanilla midgets that Vince and Heyman seem to love)
SD - 1. Robert Roode 2. Braun Strowman 3. The Miz 4. Roman Reigns 5. King Corbin 6. Bray Wyatt 7. Daniel Bryan 8. Jeff Hardy (too bad he's not active as of now, otherwise I think I'd put him in top 5) 9. Matt Hardy (same with Jeff, the Broken/Woken gimmick is gold) 10. Elias
