Re: Bray Wyatt cult
So after his deletion are there any of his fans left?
One year ago our guy was a World Champ.
Now he is a forgotten piece.
It's sad how the WWE writers have taken a possible main event heel to mid card jobber in spite of his talent.
The very thing the WWE needs, main event heels, and they had one in Bray....sad
The thing with me is that I wanted to see the guy as a main event face. Look back to 2016 where he turned face for all of a week and then got hurt again:
It was so easy for him. People instantly took to him and Bray barely had to do anything to get them to respond to him. It looked like the start of something great. But then he got hurt, again, and this whole moment was forgotten.
Then he goes to Smackdown and he and Orton have a very interesting program that leads into WrestleMania. Bray even gets the WWE Championship out of it and despite years of so-so booking, people responded very well.
But unfortunately, they did the Orton turn too early and the story peaked when he burned Bray's house down. And it didn't help that they had zero chemistry in the ring.
And now we're at this point where it feels almost impossible to care about him despite the talent. I'm at the point now where I just want Bray to go away for awhile and when he comes back, be something different.
Whether that's as the original Cult Leader Bray Wyatt or even a more humanized version of Bray Wyatt, something needs to change.
