who here owns WWF Attitude

This game is so bloody hard to play because it relies on combos which are difficult to pull off but it is fun when you are winning.

Re: who here owns WWF Attitude

I think it's in a bag with my other N64 games in my dad's garage somewhere.

It was fun to play in spurts, but doing moves on there was a pain in the fucking ass. Seemed like every time I wanted to do a move I had to pause it and look up the combo. Especially finishers.

Re: who here owns WWF Attitude

Only ever had fun with this when I created a wrestler and assigned all the moves to the most basic combinations. Fuck pressing 13938748758943 buttons to execute a fucking body slam. So glad they moved away from that crap and we got the grappling system in WM 2000/Smackdown! games onwards.

Re: who here owns WWF Attitude

I still have it. I don't think it's as bad as people make it out to be. The Revenge/Mania2000/No Mercy system was much more simple but I liked the challenge of entering the correct combos. Plus all you had to do was press pause to get combos anyway. Attitude was a waste of a game because Mania 2000 came out right after.

Graphics/Gameplay suck. But the intros/Roster are the GOAT.

I never owned it but back in the day I had a friend that did. The game was pretty crappy, but I'll never forget those voiceovers would would play before the matches.

I thought Warzone was the best Acclaim wrestling game.

Re: who here owns WWF Attitude

Fairly sure I still have it for N64 somewhere but man is this game horrendous. The only way I could ever win a match was by count out.

Re: who here owns WWF Attitude

Issue with this game and effectivley War Zone is the shitty control scheme they implemented for these games. Acclaim clearly tried to make this into a fighting game and not a wrestling game and this is a shitty fighting game and looks worse when you compare it to WCW/NWO Revenge and the 2 WWF AKI games. The career mode had potential to be good if the general gameplay was actually good and not shitty.
