What an excellent show by everyone for Uprising/Money in the Bank. Some pretty close matchups and pretty interesting Money in the Bank ladder matches. I would expect Saber to get results a little later today.
That said, I'd like to reflect over the last 3 years. From starting with this company, getting a hardcore title shot on my 2nd week here and promptly denied fair opprotunity at that belt due to confessed pick copying to being the longest reigning PWA authority member on staff, it has been quite a ride.
When PWA started, scoring was done 100% by hand. And Smackdown was scored purely on spoilers that were available by Wednesday. Title shots seemingly had overness ties to them, but oft times people jumped over others with little explaination. And some rules really made it difficult to climb the ladder.
Now, scoring is calculated automatically. We watch smackdown to make sure every detail is scored correctly. And, outside special events, overness is key in determining who gets into contenders matches. Rules have been updated so that noone should feel they are getting cheated out of anything. The authority has become transparent in all the goings on behind the scenes. And gives everyone a sense of accountability.
It's been a good run... so thanks for the cheese.
Spoiler for :
But we do have some announcements to make for some events coming up and PWA as a whole later today. So stay tuned!
Here's that info about upcoming events, as well as the list of teams for the randomized tag team tournament we will be starting on the next Thunder.

WHC Championship Chase: The WHC has been contested by Dreamer/Carver for the last three events, so its time to inject another contender into the title scene. We've decided to have ourselves a championship chase for the #1 contendership to the WHC at the next PPV(coinciding with WWE's Battleground). This will go to the top 4/5 singles competitors in overness.
Random Tag Team Round Robin event: Everyone that isn't in the Tag Title Match at the next PPV (aka Rang/Maximus) will be entered into a randomizer and paired with another wrestler for the next 4 weeks against other randomly put together teams. While you should always try to win your matches, the #1 contendership will go to the team that scored the most points during that 4 week stretch(so theoretically, you could lose all 4 matches and still get the #1 contendership).
PWA Invitational: This predates many of you, and even some of you that were here have forgotten about it(*cough*HN*cough*). But this invitational is for the #1 contendership for the WHC at summerslam. Like the tag tournament, the overall top scorer over the next 8(?) weeks will become the #1 contender, but to make it a little more interesting, we will also be dropping everyone's lowest scoring week. We may be awarding other title shots based on this list as well, but that is still up in the air. The results of the next PPV may drive that decision.
WWE's upcoming brand split:
Much discussion has been had about how we want to handle WWE's brand split in PWA. Anywhere from standing pat and knowing that your picks will only garner points for that week(which can bring some difficult decisions.. ie - do you pick raw people on the week that SD runs its PPV?) to actually doing a brand split of our own, creating new characters, and running a completely separate weekly show(which comes with its own set of difficulties with roster sizes/participations/its own titles/double branded events/eventual brand crossovers/fallout if WWE bails on the brand split idea)
At this time, we do not know yet what would be best, partly cause we are in limbo on exactly how WWE will end up handling the events themselves. Likely any decision/shift in how PWA operates won't happen until after Summerslam where we have been given enough time to evaluate everything.
Spoiler for The Teams For The Randomized Tag Tournament:
Please keep in mind this was totally random. Also you guys may notice 2 names from PWA's past, well surprise cause we got a couple returns. I'll be tagging them to ask them to repost their apps and so their partners can contact them if they so choose.
So for those who can't figure it out or just wanna be 100% sure, these are the teams for this years randomized tag tournament.
1. Demon Carver/King Knuckles (damn randomizer being a Demon Club fan.)
2. Supa Eagle/Max Emory
3. Dustin Dreamer/Joey Spears
4. Lorenzo Martini/LYNCH
5. Grant Gatling/Sage Grimm
6. #Root/Remy Dieu
7. Donald Hammerpunch/James Omega
8. KeRo/Daniel Drower
9. Kevin Cannon/AJ Styles
One of these 9 teams will be the next challengers for Power Trip and with any luck we will gain some more legit teams out of this tournament considering the state of the tag division.
