Re: Will the women main event WrestleMania again?

Everyone is trashing the main event and sure it had some flaws but let's be honest outside of Bryan @ 30 we haven't had many good main events lately. I have questioned the "Women's" stuff but this is just silly calling out this match when you had 3 awful main events in a row with Roman.

Re: Will the women main event WrestleMania again?

yes because Super Charlotte must win a WM main event (and 15 more world titles) before she retires. this match was insulting having her booked so strong.

wished Becky had got a special entrance too, Rousey gets a live band, Flair gets a helicopter and Becks get's nothing at all. Would have liked to have seen some man showboating in that entrance for sure.

Re: Will the women main event WrestleMania again?

Never say never, but it is going to be harder to justify.

They needed to deliver and that anti-climactic finish didn't cut it.

So now that they've already gotten their historic first one and didn't deliver, it is going to be harder to sell people on it again.

That said, Vince has shown he's willing to do whatever he wants regardless of whether or not it is warranted. This man had Roman main event 4 Manias in a row, despite bombing horribly in 3 of them and his best one (31) came out of a shock MITB cash in and him getting his butt kicked the whole time.

Re: Will the women main event WrestleMania again?

I don't think anytime soon to be honest. The match wasn't the barnstormer everyone was expecting, I'm sure leaving any match to the end after 7 hour show is going to tire out anybody, but let's be honest the match was botchy, women were calling spots very audibly throughout the match and it just wasn't anything special, and the ending was meh.

Unless they have a match that people see as big time and it has a lot of hype going in for it i'm sure you will probably see it Main eventing but I don't see that happen for a long time.

If so hopefully it's more organic next time, not pre planned a year in advance then shoved down our throats and having everyone arrested every week.

yes! they've had multiple main event matches in the last decade where the outcome was obvious 6-12 months in advance. rock at wm28, roman at wm32 and 34. this has to stop.
