I'll assume the frame rate isn't as consistently good.

FF to 12:17

Based on this video from Digital Foundry, i would avoid the console version if you can.

30 stuttering fps locked on regular PS4. I have a cheap 350$ PC i bought in 2014 (Xeon W3570 3.2Ghz, GTX 750Ti, 8GB DDR3) and 1080p on low i run this game around 60fps most of the time, dipping to the 40's at the worst. (I didn't optimze settings tho so i could probably do better)

Depends what your PC is of course but what i have is borderline minimum req, the game doesn't look bad on low and honestly the fps is alot more important for a game like this.

EDIT: Max i get 30fps and Max while taking out anti aliasing/shadows (stuff that is the hardest on the CPU) i get mid 40's. Same sections from the DF vid.

Thanks for all that. Not shocking, gonna have to get it on PC. The physical copy is looking like either a bastard to find or non-existent here though.

Spoiler for SPOILERS:
I have now beaten multiple areas.
- Finished the entire Senpou area, got the monk skills, the mortal blade etc...Wasn't too bad. Folding Monkey Boss was really fun and out of the box.
- Finished Sunken Valley and beat Guardian Ape FUCK THAT FIGHT
- Got all the way to the Depths. Where Guardian Ape fights you...again...THEN CALLS IN A SECOND APE HALFWAY THROUGH. I went to bed...
- I'm sitting at 4 necklaces, and 14 or 15 Strength. Finally got every prosthetic tool as well (trophy)

This game is amazing, and everythime I think I'm getting good at it, it laughs at me with a new challenge. just brilliant.

I literally went from the funnest boss fight with a group of monkeys to the hardest boss fight with a monkey. Fuck you Kratos lol. Loved the fake out.

I beat Seven Ashina Spears did it after botching and drinking more Gourd than necessary on my last revive and ended up getting his posture down to zero for the death blow , fuck that entire era man.

Just beat Juzou the Great (I think his name was?) he was pretty easy, but his fucking slash attack is bullshit. Even if you deflect it does like a quarter to half damage I only died maybe 6-10 times though. It's the mini boss before you reach Genichiro in Ashina, also this second Genichiro fight doesn't seem all that difficult either. Only bothered trying him once before taking a break from the game.

"i aCTuallY FeEl haLFway CompETenT aT It nOw."

I take it all back. I'm fucking awful and I'm at a point now where I have like five different paths I can take but all but one of them lead to a fight that I'm getting slaughtered in, and the only reason I don't yet know for sure if that other path leads to the same result is because I haven't actually explored it yet (but naturally I assume it'll lead to a fight I get slaughtered in). Part of it is how I'll get to a boss fight and just turn into a gibbering mess with no composure whatsoever. Timing goes out the window, can't properly deflect attacks, etc. I almost killed that Seven Spears until the reach on one of his swings caught me dodging from forty feet away. That fucking wee bald prick in the castle with the katana (that one made me rage quit before I smashed something). I don't think I'm strong enough to even bother attempting that Headless thing but naturally I got TERRIFIED ALL THE WAY TO DEATH and I just sat there thinking "yep, this is about right." I haven't actually gone back to Lady Butterfly yet but she seems like the easiest prospect right now by a mile. I love so much about the game and I can deal with the regular enemies more of less fine (bet I've jinxed it), but I hit a brick wall with pretty much every boss (I was about ready to flip with that General motherfucker on the castle steps). I know I should just shut up and GIT GUD, but I don't have the patience and I'm more likely to fling my tv out the window before that ever happens.

So yeah, when's Nioh 2 coming out, I guess?

Deflect is your best friend I learned that in the above fights. When you can time it perfectly then itís a game changer.
