Got the true ending for World of Light 2 days ago and hot damn, it's beautiful.
Didn't get 100% though (99.02% if memory serves), so I'm gonna go back in and see what else I missed.
Overall, I'm a bit disappointed that it was nowhere near as cinematic as The Subspace Emissary was. But after The SSE was leaked before Brawl's release, I can understand why Sakurai decided to keep cutscenes down to such an extreme minimum, since he was justifiably pissed that his and the dev team's hard work of making such a fun and visually lovely story was straight-up spoiled early by a bunch of mouth-breathing tryhards.
For those curious, Ultimate's AI is fucking bonkers.
If you're like me and don't have time to get a friend or 2 to help each other train, just pick a level 9 CPU and I promise that you'll more than have your work cut out for you. Word on the street is that the reason the AI is so damn challenging is because Sakurai and co. actually tapped a few Japanese pros to help improve the AI. Needless to say, I was blown away at first, but have really come to appreciate just how challenging CPUs, particularly level 9s, have become.

Also, after I unlock all characters I'm issuing either an open challenge or an 8 man tournament.
anyone up for it?
After Cloud fucking Strife made it into Smash 3D / U, any renowned video game character is viable to get in as far as I'm concerned.
Sora is actually a popular DLC pick for Ultimate at the moment, largely because Vergeben (a well-known Ultimate leaker) said that a Square Enix rep is in the cards for DLC. Crash making it in wouldn't be too out of the blue, but Bayonetta is the closest the folks are gonna get to some semblance of a DMC rep.
