Re: Fallout 76 Announced; Set In West Virginia

Any more news on the whole rumour of, "It ain't gonna be an MMO but it isn't going to be a single player Fallout" shit? I know it is just rumour and they have literally nothing to base this line on, but I can't help but be disappointed by the idea anyway. With so few single player games getting released outside of indie titles, it seems a shame if Fallout end up releasing a multiplayer pandering title as well. The only thing I can hope is it is in the Borderlands style where you are really meant to play with friends and there are aspects of the mechanics built around that, but playing on your own won't cause any barriers to the experience.

If it's online only

Can see it still being a SP experience too, but you never know in this now seemingly obsessed online world the gaming industry is moving towards.

Re: Fallout 76 Announced; Set In West Virginia

it's all just rumours atm, let's wait for the OFFICIAL reveal before going nuts. Fallout has always been a single player game, and they hopefully will stick to that

don't get the Fallout 4 hate either, no game is perfect but damn sure enjoyed it and put 200 hours or so into it

So much cooler than the Hearthstone DLC for Skyrim because you can literally create your own little world within the game, that's awesome to me.
Just checked; 360 hours

Don't regret any of it

When they introduced the building mechanics I always thought it seem out of place since it felt like a multiplayer component, and now we have this. Ill get it, I love the fallout world.

Multiplayer would be weird cos then what happens to V.A.T.S? That won't work.

Hopefully a single player experience, would love it if we could do local co op though, think I'd shit myself with excitement.

Who are these people saying they won't buy it if it's like New Vegas or Fallout 4 Just being in that Wasteland means I spend £40-£50 without hesitation.

Re: Fallout 76 Announced; Set In West Virginia

I didn't mind the whole 'base building' stuff in Fallout 4. I mean, you dont have to do it if you dont want to.

However there are numerous times when i was annoyed when certain part of a wall or roof just REFUSED To go into the spot because of some weird 'obstacle' in the way.

If they make another single player Fallout game, i hope they design the building phase little better. You dont wanna plan a nice building and then fall over due to formalitity of a single piece refusing to go in it's place.
