Re: The Walking Dead: The Final Season
Im not sure on the story at this point because I stopped playing after season 2 but I played the demo for the new season today and some of it just made me go "what the fuck?"
clem finds two zombies that were a couple who died and left a note asking to be left alone. Then it turns out that the zombie has the key to a door but clem cant get it because she will get bitten so you are left with a choice of kill the zombies or send AJ into a dark and potentially dangerous area of the cabin to unlock the door from the other side.
Clem scoffs at the idea that they should just kill the zombies and get the key because they asked "to be left alone" and would seemingly prefer to put AJs life at risk instead........sorry....what? clem is constantly banging on about "lessons" to make sure he doesnt take unnecessary risks and protect himself then leans towards sending him into a potentially dangerous area with no easy way out just because of a note even though it would be kinder to let the people rest in any case.....
I just didnt like the broken logic in that equation. Just seemed like a poor attempt to give the player a moral dilemma when there wasnt one. Clem has seen MUCH more get sacrificed in order to stay alive throughout the seasons so its not like shes naive to that fact. This was nothing in comparison.
"I remember how you used to shine back then, you went down so easy like a glass of wine my friend, when the dawn came up you felt so inspired to do it again but it turns out you only get to do it once."
You can't give me a reason, I don't need one to shine, You can't give me a feeling 'cause it's already mine
