Re: The Last of Us Part II (21st February 2020)

Man im so torn about this. On one side you can say this was the biggest game for the ps3 era and this waa the one game that warranted and demanded a sequel how incredible this game was.

On the other side I kinda wanted this game to be a one off. The way it ended was so like uhh in wondering if Ellie believed Joels lie or not at the end and Joel lied to Ellie and murdered the leader of the firefly girl but you understand why Joel did and where he's coming from and it was for both him and Ellie. So the end leave it ambiguous and up to interpretation weather we believe Ellie believes him or not AND if she knows Joel is lying does she accept it or have a little resistiment towards hin for it.

Who knows maybe during this game we'll still never know.

Maybe by the end of the game Ellie will truly understand Joel's lie. If Dina is killed/captured and this game is all about doing whatever it takes to get her back/avenge her death. I think either way we'll be seeing a lot of parralells of Joel from the first game in Ellie in this one. No doubt she learned a few things and picked up a few bad habits from hanging out with him in the first game and the intervening years. I can't wait
RBrooks and Dolorian like this.

After what happened in the winter part, he probably saw Ellie like this from there out. It wouldn't have mattered if there was a cure.

Their world is too far gone already.

She knows he lied to her, but she doesn't know what went down. He's going to tell her the truth when the time occurs. It's probably going to be a heated moment before disaster, and i wouldn't be surprised if Ellie pulls a gun out on Joel during that.

Also, it looks like Ellie and Joel ain't really close anymore.
