Graphics look a bit off don't they ?

I'm happy there's finally a zombie open world game though.

They might look off to you because I believe this running on an outsourced engine. Unreal's engine if I am correct.

You need to be yourself, you can't be no-one else.

Re: Days Gone

pretty much agree with jim sterling on this game, it doesnt look bad but it just doesnt really excite me. Like someone said, biggest issue so far is that every trailer or gameplay video released is just the same thing over and over, you drive around, you run from zombies.

The horde mechanic is probably its strongest feature because they clearly like showing it but is that going to wow you after a few times? its certainly not going to make the game great on its own.

again the game doesnt look bad but I dont see much that will set it apart, it just looks like another zombie game in an open world setting. Right now it feels like a game that will work in what it does but there just isnt much to be excited about. The genre is exhausted and so there isnt much in this game that will change that.

I think days gone is just abit late to the party. Probably wouldve been a big title if released near the start of the current generation of consoles.

Very much how I feel about it, the game is just...there and feels/looks very generic. It lacks "character".

Really, the more I see of it the less interested I am in it.

The best zombie game IMO is state of decay. Even though the controls are trash, the ideas in the game are really great.

Re: Days Gone

Caught some of the Horde gameplay and thought it looked decent enough, I haven't really kept tabs on this one. But I'm honestly a sucker for zombie games and will more than likely end up picking this up at some point.

Re: Days Gone

The game looks cool, I admit, but I'm so over zombies. It's such a boring, lazy, played out narrative. Can we just get an unwritten law or something that we don't make zombie related stories for the next 15 years? I want to see these studios put their effort behind something that we can't see within 2 seconds of turning on any random channel on Twitch.
