Of all the push Ziggler threads, or turn him face/heel threads I felt this was the most appropriate and yet unappreciated concepts for this WWE star. Ziggler is ok to good on the mice, his ring work is typically 5 star, and he lacks ideal physical size. What he really needs is something that draws more attention. You look at past stars like Jesse The Body Ventura, Macho Man Randy Savage, Superstar Billy Graham, The Nature Boy Ric Flair, Sting, Warrior, The Rockers, or even that goof Brutus The Barber Beefcake were able to draw fans in with their appearance. I'm not comparing Ziggler to either of those men, other than the basic look of the character.
If Ziggler is "The Show Off" then he has to say, or express it in more ways. Nothing about his physical appearance stands out. He is rather bland when you look at him, and none of his real fans ever want to address this issue. Ziggler is what I would consider a Wrestling Diva, but with a pair of balls. Naturally he is a heel, but he can play the face role no doubt. He has no look to him and I think ultimately that's what he really needs. He needs flash, color, and really elaborate entrance song. Like I said before, if he is the "Show Off" then he needs to express this in nearly everything he does. This should include look, style in the ring, and entrance.
