Simple thread. Just list your ideal WWE PPV schedule. List which event you'd have in which month. Choose as many or as few as you want.

My schedule (I'd cut down to 11 PPVs per year, leaving March to build towards Mania)...

January - Royal Rumble
February - No Way Out (needless name change to Elimination Chamber)
March - (no PPV)
April - Wrestlemania
May - Backlash
June - Extreme Rules
July - Money In The Bank
August - Summerslam
September - Bragging Rights (I really liked the concept when the brands were actually separate shows)
October - Night Of Champions
November - Survivor Series
December - TLC

Hell, even possibly take February's PPV out of there.

January: Royal Rumble (Joint PPV)
March: Wrestlemania (Joint PPV)
April: Backlash (Presented by RAW)
May: No Way Out (Presented by Smackdown)
June: Vengeance (Presented by RAW)
July: King of the Ring (winner will receive their respective brand’s World title shot at Summerslam/Joint PPV)
August: Summerslam (Joint PPV)
September: Unforgiven (Presented by RAW)
October: No Mercy (Presented by Smackdown)
November: Survivor Series (Joint PPV)
December: Armageddon (Presented by Smackdown)

There should be no pay-per-view in February, it’s useless and definitely make the Rumble look less credible.

The Royal Rumble in January
No Way Out in February
WrestleMania in April
Extreme Rules in May
King Of The Ring in July
SummerSlam in September
Survivor Series in November
Night Of Champions in December

I'd do Saturday Nights Main Event in March, June, August and October.

January---Royal Rumble
February/March---No Way Out
April---Wrestlemania (MITB happens here)
May---No PPV
June---King Of The Ring
July---No PPV
August---Summerslam
September/October---Extreme Rules
November---Survivor Series (War Games type of match as main event)
December/early January---Over The Limit

In months with no PPV's, have some type of SNME/COTC supercard with PPV quality matches.

February- No way Out
March-No PPV
April-Wrestlemania
May-Judgement day
June-No PPV
July-Great American bash
August-Summerslam
September- No PPV
October-No Mercy
November-Survivor Series
December-Armageddon

I would have Money In the bank matches at Wrestlemania, and matches like Steel cage,TLC,and other stipulation matches would be at random PPVS.

Does anyone really think there is ever going to be a time when there is not a PPV every month? (Minus March, when Mania is in the first week of April)

probably not...the WWE thinks the best way to make money is to offer a PPV every month, which is a poor business strategy.

8 PPVs. Every single one of them should be something you don't see on t.v.

Money in the Bank remains a PPV. Bring back King of the Ring and War Games.

I'd say...
Wrestlemania to close out the year...

King of the Ring as the start of the New Year

Elimination Chamber in June/Julyish

SummerSlam

War Games

Money in the Bank, Survivor Series then Royal Rumble to set up matches at WM. What bad blood remains from Survivor Series? What is the Sole Survivor going to do? Will the Royal Rumble winner win? Will he get cashed in upon? Will the Money in the Bank winner use his clause to make the Rumble Winner/Champ match a Three Way Dance?

Then 'Mania and start it all over.

And 45 bucks/55 for Mania is too much money. At least take 5 dollars off for every PPV.

13/14 PPV season, all full price plus a 55 dollar 'Mania is way too much PPV and money.

Six PPVs would be perfect. It's too much of an overkill with such a bad product. 97 - 02, it worked. But now, it is just pointless. Keep the big four (Rumble, Mania, Slam, Series) and add two that generally have Title implications (Money In The Bank / Chamber / etc)

The trouble by going down to 6 is that the RR - EC (NWO) - WM - Backlash (ER), formular works very well. Then having only a august and november PPV would feel very much off season.
