agreed, I think magnus can fulfill his hype and could be "that guy" and carry the company till bfg, but it was ruined by the pissy paper champion thing, may not happen for well over a year now, if at all

they had the perfect opportunity to do it at Lockdown with Samoa Joe. it was all set up. Joe was beating Magnus.. and then it happened, some fool had to write in that Abyss came up through the ring. what for? Abyss didn't even pair well with Magnus.
I like Roode, but with Joe they had it right there. the way things happened you could have had everything the same happen with Roode/Bully, so then it could be Samoa Joe and Roode headlining Slammiversary.

As much as I love Joe and he could have easily taken the belt at Lockdown, I would have had Roode take the belt off him. As stated above, the feud writes itself. Personally, I feel that Roode was the best champ in years.
