Tragedy, and at the same time, he went out in a great moment of triumph. I don't say that to downplay his death, of course not, the loss of anyone at 16 is a tragedy. But if he was a true competitor, I'm sure he would've liked to go out on top, though not nearly this soon.

Either way, rest in peace, Wes Leonard.
