If that is the case, NJPW is suuuuuuuper dumb.... which I hope they aren’t
NJPW will make an agreement for a working relationship with AEW the second that their ROH working relationship is over. Anyone that thinks otherwise is being ignorant or doesn’t know what they are talking about.

The video game news sounds interesting. Would love it if they had a similar setup to No Mercy from back in the day on N64.

I bet the AEW game will be a 2d side scroller like BTE intro, ala simpsons/turtles arcade games.
There’s lots of potential as to what an AEW game could be. It could be that, it could be Undertale style game, it could be an AKI style game (and I stress AKI because even though No Mercy is the most revered wrestling game, all of the N64 AKI games in both the US and Japan offered things that were either not in No Mercy or was done better than in No Mercy. I even made a post detailing it). AEW could make 2D, 2.5D or 3D. Basically, the sky’s the limit for what kind of video games can be made, not just because AEW’s a new company with fresh ideas, but also because it’s known that The Elite are huge gamers.

NJPW isn't dumb for not wanting to work with them. Especially since, to my knowledge, they cannot appear on television in the US unless it is with AXS. What would they benefit from? The only stars they would even be interested in are either already working with them via special contracts (Moxley, Omega, Jericho) or have burned the bridge by openly trash talking the company management, aka the Young Bucks. They need absolutely nobody else. Sure, some of the juniors would be great, Pentagon too perhaps. Other than that? MJF? In NJPW? Nah. Joey Janela? Jimmy Havoc?

Right now, NJPW would much rather use the talents of lesser known guys like Cobb, guys they can potentially use for themselves and their benefit. Perhaps even keep him with their roster full time.

Also, somebody said NJPW prefers to be the top in the relationship is absolutely spot on.

Awesome interview. The title of the thread doesn't make justice. The Young Bucks seem like really nice guys. I really want AEW to succeed. They have my support as a fan. I have paid to watch DON, FF and FFTF....And have tickets for All Out. I would even consider traveling to Vegas next year for DON2 (or whatever they call their next ppv in Vegas). All luck and blessings to all people involved in AEW.
