Hello, guys.

I've been with the site for time now but I've just been a lurker. I've been enjoying Wolf Beast's work in the Being The Booker thread. I'd figure out that I'll have a go at Fantasy Booking myself.

So as the title suggests, I'll be Fantasy Booking the WWF from the 3/29/1999-4/2/2000 which would make it the period between Wrestlemania XV and Wrestlemania 2000. I always thought that Wrestlemania 2000 was one event that could've been better but for one reason or another it's always been mediocre for me. At first, I just scribbled down my dream Wrestlemania 2000 card or rather what the Wrestlemania 2000 matches should've been. But then I got interested on how the matches came to be, scribbled down more notes and here I am.

Anyway, I'll leave you with the roster, champions, and shows. I'm currently finishing off my first show which will be the 3/29/1999 show which should be posted about 30 minutes after this one.

WWF Opening Credits

Raw Opening Credits

We see the pyros exploding and various shots of the crowd with people lifting up home-made signs.

JR: We are 24 hours removed from Wrestlemania XV and by God, we’ve got a new WWF Champion. Hello everyone, I’m Jim Ross and alongside me is my colleague Jerry “The King” Lawler.

Lawler: All right JR, all right. Just don’t rub the fact that Austin is the WWF Champion in my face.

KEE-RASH!

The glass breaks and out comes Stone Cold Steve Austin with the WWF Championship belt.

Finkel: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the NEW World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin.

The crowd goes crazy as Austin poses on all 4 corners. He gets the microphone and looks around.

Crowd: AUSTIN! AUSTIN! AUSTIN! AUSTIN! AUSTIN! AUSTIN!

The crowd finally quiets down enough for him to speak.

Austin: For the last 6 months I’ve been screwed, I’ve been jerked around, and I’ve been a victim of Vince McMahon’s mind games. Well now, Vince, now I put all that screwing, jerking, and mind-gaming into a ball and shove it up your ass. Like it or not, Vince, my name is Stone Cold Steve Austin and I am the World Wrestling Federation Champion.

The crowd cheers as Austin looks at the belt.

Austin: Look at this belt. It’s a crap belt, it’s disgraceful, it’s pathetic and it stands for everything that Vince McMahon stands for. See, even if I continue to drink beer, cuss, and give people middle fingers, anyone who sees me will associate me with Vince McMahon as long as I have this belt. Do I look like someone who wants to be associated with Vince McMahon? Hell no. There’s only one person that Stone Cold would want to be associated with and that’s himself. So now, what I want this, Vince, I want my old Smoking Skull belt.

The Corporation’s music play and Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon, The Rock, Triple H, Big Show, Chyna, Ken Shamrock, Test, and Kane walk out.

Vince: Well, Stone Cold, before I address your request for your Smoking Skull belt I would like to say that I don’t want to be associated with you as much you don't want to be associated with me. Why? Because whenever you are Champion, I am disgraced, I am ashamed, I am degraded.

Austin: I ain’t gonna give a damn about you being disgraced, ashamed, or degraded since you started off that way anyway. Now get on my request for my Smoking Skull belt.

Vince: You want your Smoking Skull belt, Austin?

Austin: Are you a deaf bastard, Vince?

Vince: I will not be spoken to like that.

Austin: I just did.

Vince looks very angry but he calms down.

Vince: Austin, right now my Smoking Skull belt is at my home in Stanford, Connecticut. Close to the venue of Thursday's Smackdown, Hartford, Connecticut.

Austin looks angry.

Vince: Wait, Austin, wait, let me finish, I have a proposition to make. I will personally give you your Smoking Skull belt on Smackdown if you successfully defend the WWF Title against an opponent or opponents of my choosing. What do you say to that?

Austin: You’re saying that if I successfully defend my WWF Title against an opponent of your choosing, I get my Smoking Skull belt?

Vince: That’s right.

Austin: You got yourself a deal.

Vince: That’s good. Now as far as your opponents are concerned, tonight, you will defend the WWF Title against Big Show and The Rock. That’ll be all from me.

Vince and the Corporation leave the stage as Austin stares The Rock and Big Show.

Vince: Listen, Rock. The fact of the matter is this, you lost the WWF Title to Stone Cold Steve Austin yesterday.

Rock: So you’re saying that you don’t trust The Rock?

Road Dogg: Tonight, I won’t be welcoming you to the Dogg House, I won’t introduce everyone to their Tag Team Champions of the world, and I won’t have any 2 words for you because there are more important matters to attend to. Triple H: Dogg, first things first. Me turning on DX was nothing personal, it’s just business.

X-Pac: Hunter, man, we’re your friends. We’ve been on the road together; we’ve been together in the highs and lows of this business. How can you expect us not to take this personally, bro?

Triple H: Let me explain. What I did yesterday at Wrestlemania XV was not turn on DX, was not turning on my buddies, what I did yesterday was advancing my career so I can go to the next level.

Billy Gunn: Advancing your career?

Triple H: That’s right, Billy. As much as I had fun with DX in the last 18 months, what have I got to show for it? The Intercontinental Championship at last year’s Summerslam; that’s it. I am above that Championship and as I looked around for opportunities, I saw The Rock becoming WWF Champion through his association with the Corporation. Then I thought, jeez, if The Rock can become WWF Champion by being part of the Corporation, then maybe I can do the same thing and get closer to becoming WWF Champion.

X-Pac: This is about your career isn’t it? What about us, Hunter?

Triple H: Pac, before you get angry at me, let me just say this, Chyna and I, we took our opportunities. Not in a million years will you guys blame us for doing this. On the other hand, you 3, you didn’t take your opportunities and you’ve only got yourselves to blame.

Triple H: What seems to be the problem? You know what my problem is Shane. It’s my former buddies from DX.

Shane: You mean the incident from earlier tonight?

Triple H: Shane, put Chyna and I in a match against them tonight before I go up to them and make another incident out of their asses.

Shane: Let me think about it. (Thinks for a couple of seconds) Let’s do it this way, tonight, you and Chyna will face The New Age Outlaws. You win that match and you get a European Title Shot on Smackdown, how does that sound?

Re: WWF: 3/29/1999-4/2/2000

I'm glad I've inspired you to start writing. This was a fairly decent start to your booking career.

Before I rate the show though, I would suggest that you should've posted your WrestleMania results, as some appeared to be different than it was in 1999. Most notably X-Pac still being European Champion, despite him losing to Shane at WM XV, also, perhaps an explanation for the readers as to how Jericho and RVD debuted, as neither where on the roster back at that stage would be helpful.

Onto the show...
Opening segment with Steve Austin was very well written for the most part, and the Austin character was done pretty well. Not flawless, but it was a decent promo, very Austin like. McMahon to me, seemed a little off, but in time, you'll improve. I have a feeling promo's will be your strongpoint.

The McMahon - Rock meeting backstage was imo the beginning of a possible split between them. Rock wasnt on total form, but again, this is only your first ever show.

D'Lo and Henry retain the tag titles. Fair enough. Hopefully we see E&C as well as the Hardyz break through soon, and bring some life to the tag team division.

Al Snow beating Steve Blackman is okay to retain the Hardcore Belt, nothing earth shattering, but it didnt need to be.

The remaining three members of DX rallying around each other was nice to see, and I expect a really great feud between them and Triple H with Chyna.

X-Pac retaining his belt was fine too, and the aftermath involving Triple H was well scripted. Triple H didnt really come across as a hell here though. Next time, really make him push the buttons, and get his heelishness out.

Rock - Show confrontation was short and to the point. I definately see a Rock face turn coming soon, which will be nice to see.

A Mankind - Jericho feud would be great, and I hope thats the route you go with this, and not just a one off match on Raw. The promo here was excellent, the best you produced on the show, with a few funny lines in there too, which is always good.

The Triple H - Shane segment was not very pleasant. HHH seemed totally out of character, and why would he settle for a European Title shot on Smackdown, when he mentioned less than five minutes ago that he wanted to get closer to the WWF Championship??

Val venis over Test, fair enough. I've never been a Venis fan, even in his heyday, but I'm probobly in the minority. Hopefully, we see a decent feud over the belt coming soon with Venis against a really good heel opponent.

Triple H and Chyna over the Outlaws was a sensible move, and it elevated Triple H a little more, proving he is indeed too good to be stuck with DX. I'm just wondering how you'll go about his match with Pac on SD, because if he loses, he loses a lot of credibility, but if he wins, he sorta takes a step down the Ladder.

Rock's interview was okay, but once again, as time goes on you'll get better, with him.

Main Event was decent, and it furthers the story between Rock and Show. With those two guys tied up for now by the looks of things, it's hard to see who will be challenging Austin, unless it manages to be a Triple Threat at Backlash, or someone takes a major step up the Ladder, or even if you go down the face vs face route, and have him face Mankind. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

Realism: 7/10 - I'll not be too harsh as it's your first go, but some promo's where out of character, and Triple H settling for a shot at the European title struck me as odd.

Length: 10/10 - For an Attitude era show, this was perfect in length, with a lot of matches back in those days, and quite a few promo's, most of which in good enough detail to merit full marks.

Quality / Entertainment: 7/10 - Again, it's your first time, so it's obviously not gonna be perfect right away. Some funny moments, good matches, but some of the quality let you down in parts, mainly the promo's.

Spelling / Grammar: 9/10 - No obvious spelling mistakes, but some of the grammar used with Vince McMahon wasnt quite as articulate asyou'd normalling get with the boss.

Matches / Booking: 7/10 - In terms of winners in matches, I cant pick out many faults, perhaps though, Jericho should've beat Mankind to elevate himself, or least get himself Dq'ed. Losing clean buries him a little, and makes the feud harder to try and keep going, with the face already overcoming the heel. And as previously mentioned, the booking of Triple H in the show was less than perfect.

Score: 80/100. It might'nt seem great as a score, but for a first ever effort, it's a fantastic score. Please dont just give up. Keep going, and going, and I honestly beleive you will make a name for yourself here. It's a different concept than everyone else here, by turning back the clock, and in time it will catch on. Get your name in and around Be the Booker. Rate shows, advertise your thread in your sig, and eventually, you'll find a lot of people rating your shows.

Great work Les, keep it up.

Re: WWF: 3/29/1999-4/2/2000

Wolf Beast, your feedback is very much appreciated so thank you for that. I'm working on Smackdown now and before I do that, I want to post the Wrestlemania XV results.

Here it goes:

WWF Title: Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated The Rock to win the WWF Title.

Big Show defeated Mankind

IC Title: Val Venis successfully defended the IC Title against Ken Shamrock and Godfather in a Triple Threat match

Kane, Test, and Chyna over DX after the supposedly injured Triple H came in and turned on DX.

Butterbean over Bart Gunn by TKO

Hardcore Title: Al Snow defeated Hardcore Holly to win the Hardcore Title.

Women's Title: Jacqueline defeated Sable to win the Women's Title after a mysterious woman's interference.

Tag Titles: D'lo Brown and Mark Henry wins the vacant Tag Team Titles in a Tag Team Turmoil match also involving the Headbangers, Too Cool, Edge and Christian, and The Acolytes.

Another thing that I'd like to tell you in this post would be the differences between WWF 3/29/1999-4/2/2000 in the real world and the one in this thread:
1. The existence of Smackdown before 8/26/1999
2. Austin and Undertaker won't go down with injury.
3. Shamrock and JJ could possibly make Wrestlemania 2000. This one is still under consideration.
4. Chris Jericho and RVD are already on the roster. In this version, RVD debuted as a mysterious entrant in the Royal Rumble and Chris Jericho debuted 4 weeks before Wrestlemania XV.
5. Owen Hart, British Bulldog, Big Bossman, and Crash Holly won't be in this Fantasy Booking project for obvious reasons. I've read a thread that says you're still allowed to use the wrestlers as long as it's the time period before they die; but I won't be using them out of respect.

That's all from me for now. I'm currently working on Smackdown now.

Re: WWF: 3/29/1999-4/2/2000

Smackdown 1/4/1999
Hartford Civic Center, Hartford, Connecticut

WWF Opening Credits

Smackdown Opening Credits

We see the pyros exploding and various shots of the crowd with people lifting up home-made signs.

Michael Cole: We are live from the Hartford Civic Center, in Hartford Connecticut and tonight, Mr. McMahon has to present the Smoking Skull Belt to the WWF Champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Lawler: I can’t believe Mr. McMahon has to do this, Cole; this is a degrading thing for him to do.

Backstage, Vince is in a room when The Rock walks in.

Rock: You wanted to see me, Vince?

Vince: Rock, let me ask you something, what was that at Monday night?

Rock: Vince, the fact of the matter is at Monday night…

Vince (losing his temper): The fact of the matter is, Rock at Monday Night, you lost to Stone Cold Steve Austin 2 nights in a row! You see what I have to do now, dammit?! I have to degrade myself, I have to lower myself and I have to present the Smoking Skull belt to my hated nemesis and it’s all because of you and it’s all because your refusal to co-operate with Big Show.

Rock: Well The Rock says this, The Rock made it perfectly clear to you before we went on the air on Raw that he wants a rematch for the WWF Title with Stone Cold. 1 on 1, mano e mano, man to man. Then you put Big Show in the match, off course The Rock isn’t going to co-operate or co-exist with King Kong. Don’t blame The Rock that you have to present the Smoking Skull belt to Stone Cold.

Vince looks angry.

Vince: Are you blaming me, Rock?

Rock: Last Monday Night, The Rock asked you if you didn’t trust him to go against Austin by himself and you gave The Rock a chickenshit answer. The Rock suggests you answer that question properly first before he answers yours.

The Rock walks away with Vince looking very angry.

Backstage, Kevin Kelly stands with X-Pac.

Kelly: I am standing here with X-Pac. X-Pac; tonight you defend the European Title against Triple H, someone who a week ago was one of your closest friends in the world. But word has it that you want to make a last minute adjustment to this match.

X-Pac: You got that right, Kevin. I just wanna tell everyone that tonight the European Title won’t be on the line and it’s not because I’m scared or it’s not because I’m worried about losing it. Tonight, it’s not about titles, it’s about pride, plain and simple. And Hunter, tonight, I’m gonna make you regret ditching D-Generation X.

X-Pac leaves.

Sable’s music plays and she walks down to the ring.

Finkel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the World Wrestling Federation Women’s Championship. Making her way to the ring is challenger, Sable.

The referee starts to count but Sable ignores him and jumps over the barriers and makes her way through the crowds. The referee finally reaches 10.

Finkel: The winner as a result of countout and still Women’s Champion, Jacqueline.

Commercial Break

The mysterious woman is now at the entrance to the arena building. She turns around towards the direction where she comes from. Suddenly she is ambushed by Sable and a catfight erupts between the two women. The security guards who sees this rushes over and breaks it up.

We go back to a shot of the ring.

Wellllll…Well it’s the Big Show

Big Show makes his way down to the ring.

Finkel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, making his way to the ring weighing in at 500 pounds, Big Show.

Big Show stands in the ring as Steve Blackman’s music hits.

Finkel: And his opponent, weighing in at 246 pounds, Steve Blackman.

Blackman immediately gives Big Show a flurry of Martial Art strikes and kicks. Blackman with the Irish Whip, reversed by Show, Big Boot by Show. Show picks up Blackman, puts him in the corner and gives him an Open-Handed Chop. Show then grabs Blackman by the throat and throws him across the ring. Show then signals for the Chokeslam. Show waits until Blackman gets up and gives him a Chokeslam. Show goes for the pin 1,2,3.

Finkel: Here is your winner, Big Sho…

Show takes the microphone away from Finkel.

Show: Austin, I know you’re watching back there and I want you to listen. Monday Night, you never pinned me, Austin, you pinned The Rock, that’s it. If you think you can beat me, Austin, come out right now, put your title on the line and we’ll go at it, tonight.

Crowd: Austin! Austin!

Do You Smell What The Rock Is Cooking?

The Rock makes his way down the ring not looking too happy and then he gets a microphone.

Show: Can someone please send out the WWF Champion please? I didn’t ask for the former WWF Champion.

Rock: King Kong! Let The Rock make one thing perfectly clear, if there is anyone challenging Austin for the WWF Title, it will be him not you.

Show: What, you want to challenge Austin so you can lose to him again?

Rock: Listen, Jabroni, the next time The Rock has Austin in the ring with him 1-on-1, The Rock promises that he will beat Austin’s candy ass.

Show: Dream on, Rock.

The Rock looks angry and then he begins taking off his shirt.

Rock: Dream on? Well let The Rock give you a preview of that promise.

Big Show gets ready and tells Rock to bring it on.

Vince appears on the screen.

Vince: Stop it, dammit, stop it! Both of you! Especially you, Rock, you’re already on my bad side and believe me when I say that you don’t want to get even more into it. Rock, Big Show, you both want the #1 Contendership? Simply put, I make the decisions around here, I decide who challenges Austin, and I decide who the #1 Contender is. It’s just that I won’t do that tonight. Tonight I don’t have the time to name the #1 Contender because I’m more concerned about the title presentation.

Show: Vince, with all due resp…

Vince: That’s Mr. McMahon to you!

Show: Mr. McMahon, with all due respect, it’s just a title presentation.

Vince: Show, you know what happened last time I had to present a title belt to Stone Cold? I got a Stunner, dammit!

Show: Mr. McMahon, I’m going to make sure that lighting doesn’t struck twice, I’ll be out here guarding you as you present the Smoking Skull Belt to Austin.

Vince (looking interested): Really, Show, you’re willing to do that?

Show: Off course, sir.

Rock: Vince, let The Rock go one better than King Kong. Vince, The Rock wants to be the one that presents the Smoking Skull Belt to the bald-headed Jabroni.

Vince (looking more interested): Interesting, very interesting indeed. Well, I’m certainly very happy that you’re offering to take up responsibility after last Monday Night’s screw-up because I’m going to offer a chance at redemption for the both of you. Tonight, in that very ring, The Rock will be presenting Stone Cold with the Smoking Skull Belt and Big Show will be out there with him, watching his back.

Vince looks happy as his image disappears from the Ovaltron.

Rock looks at Big Show and they start to argue.

Finkel: And his opponent, weighing in at 229 pounds, Chris Jericho.

Jericho gets in the ring and gets the microphone.

Jericho: Welcome to Smackdown is Jericho! Now, if there is one question that needs answering tonight, it would be: how did I end up being put in a match with Dracula? But now, since a European Title shot is on the line, I guess Y2J can live with it, because Gangrel, I will give you a beating that you will never…eeeveeerrr…forget.

Jericho Irish Whips Gangrel and bends down to give a Back Body Drop but Gangrel uses it to set himself up for the Impaler. Jericho fights back and drives Gangrel into the turnbuckle. Jericho chops away at Gangrel and gives him a Cross-Corner Whip, Gangrel reverses. Jericho jumps on the turnbuckle, Gangrel charges at him and Jericho gives Gangrel a Missile Dropkick. Jericho goes for the pin 1,2 and Gangrel kicks out. Gangrel beats Jericho to his feet and then goes to gut kick him but Jericho catches his foot and spins it around. Jericho then gut kicks Gangrel and gives him a Double Powerbomb. Jericho holds on for the pin 1,2,3.

Finkel: Your winner and the receiver of European Title Shot on Raw, Chris Jericho.

Jericho celebrates.

Backstage, Kevin Kelly stands with Big Show.

Kelly: Big Show, Mr. McMahon just made the announcement a couple of minutes ago that now it will be The Rock presenting the Smoking Skull Belt to Austin and you will be out there watching The Rock’s back in case anything happens. Judging by the way you and The Rock teamed up on Raw, there has been speculations already that you won’t even be coming out with The Rock to the ring to present the Smoking Skull Belt.

Show: Well, Kevin, I’m afraid I don’t agree with the speculations because I will be out there with The Rock as he presents the Smoking Skull Belt to Stone Cold. But I won’t be out there to watch his back. I will be out there to ask Austin for a title shot.

The camera pans to the left to show that The Rock has been listening all this time.

Rock: We’ll see who will be Austin’s next challenger, King Kong, we'll see. But you're lucky The Rock’s here not to whoop your candy ass but to tell you that Vince wants to see both you and The Rock right now.

The Rock walks away. Show doesn’t look happy but follows Rock.

Commercial Break

Vince is in his locker room when The Rock and Big Show come in.

Vince: You’re here, good to see that at the very least you both have enough teamwork to come to the briefing together.

Vince then gets a briefcase and opens it, in it is the Smoking Skull Belt. Rock and Big Show looks at it as Vince continues his explanation.

Vince: This is the Smoking Skull Belt (closes the briefcase), I’ll let you hold on to it, Rock. Now, let me just give both of you a friendly warning, DON’T SCREW UP.

We go to a view of the arena and D’lo Brown’s music plays. Then he and Mark Henry make their way down towards the ring.

Oh you didn’t know? Your ass better call somebody!

The New Age Outlaws makes their way outside, Dogg has a microphone.

Dogg: It’s me, it’s me, it’s the D-O-double G and I’m…

Dogg was interrupted by Triple H attacking him from behind. Gunn looks on in shock as Chyna low-blows him and he slumps to the floor. Triple H and Chyna stomps away on the New Age Outlaws. Triple H then picks up Dogg and gives him a Pedigree while Chyna picks up Gunn and does the same thing to him.

Test then picks up D’lo, gives him right hands and Irish Whips him, followed by a Powerslam. Test goes for the pin 1,2 and D’lo kicks out. Test picks up D’lo and slams his head on the turnbuckle and then he tags in Shamrock. Shamrock gets in and taunts Henry but D’lo starts giving Shamrock right hands. D’lo gut kicks Shamrock, Irish Whips Shamrock and gives him a Back Body Drop. D’lo then crawls over to Henry but Shamrock gives D’lo an elbow drop to stop D’lo’s progress. Shamrock picks up D’lo, Irish Whips him and then gives him Belly 2 Belly Suplex. Shamrock goes for the pin 1,2 and Henry breaks up the pin attempt. Shamrock picks up D’lo, goes for the Irish Whip, D’lo reverses. Shamrock goes for the Hurricanrana but D’lo counters it into a Powerbomb and both men are down. Henry and Test their partners as D’lo and Shamrock starts to crawl slowly. D’lo and Shamrock then tags Henry and Test in. Henry Clothesline down Test and then Scoop Slams D’lo. Test charges Henry and then gets Back Body Dropped. Shamrock then goes to Henry but gets intercepted with a Sky High from D’lo. D’lo then kicks Shamrock out of the ring as Henry gives Test his Falling Powerslam. Henry goes for the pin 1,2,3.

Finkel: Your winners and still Tag Team Champions, D’lo Brown and Mark Henry.

Commercial Break

Backstage we see Undertaker and the Ministry standing in a dark room.

Undertaker: The darkness is deepening, it consumed William Regal on Raw and now it has consumed Al Snow and Rob Van Dam. Nothing can be done to stop it, the darkness is inevitable and once this darkness consumes the WWF, everyone will Rest…In…Peace.

Mankind watches the screen and then shakes his head.

Chyna’s music plays and she makes her way down to the ring.

Finkel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the World Wrestling Federation Intercontinental Championship, making her way down the aisle is the challenger, Chyna.

Chyna gets in the ring and warms up.

Hello Ladies…

Triple H: What are you angry about, Chyna?

Chyna: Didn’t you see what X-Pac did, Hunter? He cost me the Intercontinental Title.

Triple H: Calm down, calm down. Tonight, I’m going to make sure that I beat the living hell out of Pac. He said earlier that he’s going to make me regret even thinking about ditching DX, well; I don’t know what world he is living in because in the real world, I am DX. Without me DX is nothing but a greasy-haired kid, and a tag team who thinks they’re hip because they can spout off catchphrases and rhyme. Tonight, I’m going to show that to X-Pac because I am that damn good.

Triple H leaves.

X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws watches this from the monitor in their locker room.

Gunn: A greasy haired kid and a tag team who thinks they are hip?

Dogg: You gotta get him for us now, X-P-A-C.

Gunn: And for me, too.

X-Pac: Leave it to me, dudes.

X-Pac leaves.

Triple H makes his way down to the ring and is about to enter but X-Pac won’t let him. Triple H tries to force himself to enter but backs out after X-Pac starts to stomp on him. X-Pac goes to hit the Bronco Buster but Triple H gets out of the way. X-Pac is in pain but finally gets back to his feet. He turns around and Triple H tackles him down and starts to give him right hands.

Referees and Road Agents then start to make their way down the ring. Triple H then goes to pick up X-Pac but X-Pac fights back and now they start to exchange right hands. The Referees and Road Agents now arrive in the ring and finally they break up the brawl between Triple H and X-Pac. A cameraman gets close enough so we can here what’s happening.

Sgt. Slaughter: Break it up you two, break it up! The match’s over now.

X-Pac: I don’t care, let me kick his ass, let me kick his ass.

Triple H: Come on, Pac, come on!

X-Pac and Triple H try to get at each other but the Referees and Road Agents continue and struggle to hold them back until finally…

X-Pac: Let me go now, I’ll kick his ass another day.

Triple H: I’m calm, guys, you can let go of me now.
Both X-Pac and Triple H calm down enough so that the Referees and Road Agents finally let them off. Then both of them forces their way through the Referees and Road Agents towards each other and start brawling again. The Referees and Road Agents then break up the fight again. Only this time, they start taking both of the superstars in the direction of the backstage area.

Meanwhile in a locker room, The Rock makes sure he looks good in his shirt, grabs the Smoking Skull Belt and then leaves the room.

Elsewhere backstage, Big Show puts down his WWF magazine and then starts to make his way towards the stage.

Commercial Break

Wellll…Well it’s the Big Show.

Big Show starts to make his way towards the ring. He enters the ring and then waits.

Do you smell what The Rock is cooking?!

The Rock makes his way down the ring with the briefcase. He gets in the ring and gets the microphone.

Rock: The Rock’s going to make it simple, you’ve got King Kong in the ring, you’ve got The Brahma Bull in the ring and you’ve got the Smoking Skull Belt in the briefcase. All that’s left now is the Bald-Headed Jabroni at the back and The Rock is demanding him to get his candy-ass out right now.

*KEE-RASH!*

Austin makes his way down towards the ring with the official WWF Title Belt on his shoulder. He gets in the ring, gets the microphone, and throws down the WWF Title Belt.

Austin: Well Rock, if you want to make it simple then you will pick up the official WWF Title Belt and then you will hand me over my Smoking Skull Belt.

The Rock looks nervous and goes to pick up the WWF Title Belt but Austin makes a move and The Rock flinches and trips over as he takes some steps back. Austin sneers as Big Show laughs at The Rock.

The Rock: Kong, you go pick the WWF Title Belt.

Big Show looks unhappy and then goes over to pick up the WWF Title Belt.

Austin: Uh-uh you big bastard, I want The Rock to pick up the WWF Title Belt.

The Rock: No way, Austin, you’re not going to give the Brahma Bull a Stunner, you’re not going to give the Great One a Stunner, you’re not going to…

Austin: If you want The Rock to pick up the WWF Title Belt, gimme a Hell Yeah!

Crowd: Hell Yeah!

The Rock looks upset and begrudgingly picks up the WWF Title Belt.

Austin: Now, you eyebrow raising jackass, you can give me the Smoking Skull Belt back.

The Rock has a scowl on his face as he opens the briefcase and hands over the Smoking Skull Belt to The Rock. He then puts the WWF Title Belt in the briefcase.

Austin’s music plays and he goes to the turnbuckles to celebrate with the Smoking Skull Belt but when he gets to the 4th turnbuckle, Big Show is in the way.

Austin: Are you gonna get out of my way you big bastard?

Big Show: Not until you answer the challenge that I declared to you earlier tonight, Austin.

Austin: You got a valid point there. Well, my answer is this…

Rock: Wo, wo, wo, wo! The Rock says this, there is only one person worthy of a title rematch and that is The Rock.
Austin rubs his head.

Austin: And what about the big bastard?

Rock: Don’t worry about King Kong, he's worthless.
Big Show: Listen, Rock, I’m starting to get real sick of your name-calling.

Rock: Really? And what are you going to do to The Rock? “Me King Kong, me pissed off with The Rock AHHHHHHHHHH (Mocks Big Show’s lifting arm taunt)!!!”

Big Show: That’s it, Rock, I'm going to kick your ass right now.

Big Show starts to approach The Rock.

Austin: Listen, listen, listen to me, you jackasses! Since both of you sumbitches want a title shot at me so much and also since the 2 of you want to whoop each other’s ass, why don’t you two go at it right now and the lucky jackass gets a title shot at me?

The Rock takes off his shirt and Big Show does the same thing. Austin goes over to The Rock.

Austin: Just one more thing, Rock.

Austin then gives Rock a Stunner. Big Show looks shocked at this and then goes to Clothesline Austin, but Austin ducks it and gives him a Stunner, too. Austin’s music hits as he asks for some beer and celebrates with the Smoking Skull Belt on the turnbuckles.

Re: WWF: 3/29/1999-4/2/2000

Sorry this is a short reply, but Im busy and I just wanted to get up a few comments. You are good for a beginner but there are a few adjustments. Main thing I would work on is promos. Just need to tweak a little bit to get better in character. Maybe watch some old tapes? Another tiny thing that would make your shows easier to read is put the match before you have the match writing and the winner afterwards. As for the actual show, its pretty good. X-Pac and Triple H and Rock/Austin/Show are all starting off as great fueds, but seem to be the only ones developing right now. Maybe got something brewing between Taker and Mankind though. But then again, its a long way till Backlash. But right now, you have a strong 7/10. Im sure it will only get better. Keep this up, I will continue to read. Longer review for next time.

Re: WWF: 3/29/1999-4/2/2000

It's not bad. The Rock/Big Show/Austin fued is great and kept me reading. HHH/XPac was good but I was hurt when it was DQ. The fued still rocks. The Ministry is doing good and I hope Mankind is the one to stop it. The rest of the card was...ok. I give this 8/10. Keep trying.

Re: WWF: 3/29/1999-4/2/2000

I'm really starting to get into this thread now. The Triple H - X-Pac feud is slowly building, and has a great level of intensity right now.

The Big Show - Rock - Austin feud looks set to keep going onto Backlash imo. Just a bit of advice though, try and cut back on the use of The Rock, at the minute its a bit of overkill, he musta been in at least four segments in the last show, three is usually more than enough. In the long run, it'll also help for you to build up the Big Show - Rock feud over a longer time span.

I reckon Jericho is gonna be taking the European Title off X-Pac on Raw, with Pac moving on to his feud against HHH, and no European title to hold him back.

Not too sure whats gonna happen with Mankind and Taker, but I hope you can give this feud a nice new twist.

I wouldnt mind seeing a few more feuds get going in the next few weeks, maybe for the I.C and Tag Titles, the basis is already set for the two main feuds, so it'll be okay to scale back on them for a little while, and let the mid card come through for a week or so.

Wouldnt mind seeing more of the Corporate team either, their being a little underpushed at the moment.

Where the heck is Kane??

In the coming weeks I'm sure the promo's will improve a great deal, keep looking over old ones, and they will get better.

I liked the Metal and Heat shows too. Not bad for recap shows basically.

Sorry about the reply being a little less detailed than what I normally reply with, but I've got a few things I need to get doing, but I'll give real reviews from Raw again.

Length: You've got the length of shows down to a tee already. 10/10.

Realism: Normally, I would envision The Rock coming up with a few more wise ass remarks to Big Show rather than calling him King Kong all the time. Godzilla maybe, and Tyrannasaurous(sp) would be good to use amongst others. The promo's need a bit of improving too. 6/10

Quality / Entertainment: The shows are excellent for a newcomer so far. To reach full marks, you'll need to step it up though, which I'm confindent you will in time. with more comedy skits, and more feuds going on. 7/10.

Spelling / Grammar: The main one I noticed which popped up a few times was off course. It's supposed to be of course. 9/10.

Matches / Booking: Not sure who the hardcore Champ is. It said Al Snow, then moments later, after a commercial, it said RVD was. I'm not a fan of Val venis, but I guess 1999 was his hey day, so thats okay as I.C Champion. 8/10.

Total: 80/100. I was a little more harsh this time, but scoring in the 80's for a new comer is a great accomplishment in your first week.

Re: WWF: 3/29/1999-4/2/2000

this thread just seems to get better with every single show. First off the coporation battle royal was an excellent edition. The fact that you're using the time period of the good ol' WWF Attitude is why this thread has become so good. I'm going to give your recent show a 84/100 = B! Keep up the good work man. 1!

Smackdown 8/4/1999
Arco Arena, Sacramento, California

WWF Opening Credits

Smackdown Opening Credits

We see the pyros exploding and various shots of the crowd with people lifting up home-made signs.

Cole: We are live from the Arco Arena in Sacramento, California and we are 17 days away from Backlash.

Lawler: Talk about Backlash, who’s going to be challenging Austin for the WWF Title?

Cole: Let’s hope we can find out tonight.

Corporation’s music hits and they make their way down to the ring. When they are in the ring, Vince allows Triple H to use the microphone first.

Triple H: X-Pac, you and I have one thing in common with each other and that is right now, we both have an issue with each other. You have an issue with me leaving losers like you and the Outlaws at Wrestlemania, I have an issue with you for screwing up my chances at the Battle Royale. Pac, let’s settle our issues with each other, let’s settle it at Backlash 1 on 1. I don’t expect you to answer now since you’re scared of me, so I’m gonna give you the whole night to think about it.

Triple H hands over the microphone to Vince.

Vince: I’ve always considered myself as someone who keeps his hand firmly on the pulse of the audience and I know what question is on your mind right now, who is the #1 Contender at Backlash? First, let’s take a look at the last couple of seconds from Monday Night’s Battle Royale.

Show is teetering, half his body is over the top rope, 2/3, 3/4, 4/5, 5/5, but Show lands on the apron as well. Rock and Big Show then stands up and they start to trade right hands. Suddenly, Austin came out with a chair; he gets in the ring and then smashes both Rock and Big Show with it, causing them both to stagger and then fall off the apron to the floor at the same time.

Vince: Let’s see now, who touched the ground first? Can I please see an alternate angle of that please?

An alternate angle is shown and it shows that The Rock and Big Show landed on the floor at exactly the same time. The footage is played back and played forward a couple of times but the result it still the same.

Rock and Big Show looks upset at the result.

Vince: Rock, Big Show, it’s dead heat from what I can see on the screen, so I want you both to answer this question, why do you deserve to be the # 1 Contender at Backlash? Why do you deserve to be the one who faces Austin one on one? If one of you can convince me enough, I will make it a 1 on 1 match against Austin at Backlash.

Big Show gets the microphone.

Show: Vince, you know why I should be the one who goes to Backlash to face Austin? Because I’m Big Show, 7 foot 2 inches, 500 pounds, biggest athlete in the world and I’ve got Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair on the list of people that i have beaten. Has The Rock done that? I don’t think so.

Vince nods with an impressed look.

Vince: Very impressive, Show. Your turn, Rock.

Rock: The Rock is 6’5, 275 pounds, 3rd Generation Athlete, 3 times WWF Champion, 2 times Intercontinental Champion, youngest WWF Champion in history and since The Rock is only 26 years old right now, he can only get better and better. No, The Rock hasn’t beaten Hulk Hogan or Ric Flair, but then again he doesn’t pick fights with Jabronis from the nursing home.

Big Show: Are you that thick, Rock? Old or not, we’re talking about Hogan and Flair here, Rock. One Slammed Andre The Giant and the other one is a multi-time World Champion. Don’t get jealous just because you struggled with beating Mick Foley.

Rock: Well, now The Rock wants to whoop your candy ass.

Big Show: Come on, then, Rock.

Rock and Big Show gets ready to beat each other up when Vince steps in between them.

Vince: You both are suppose to convince me, not fight each other, dammit!

Rock: Let The Rock just say this to you, Vince, you give The Rock a 1 on 1 match with Austin at Backlash and he promises you, Vince that he will take the WWF Championship Belt back to the Corporation.

Vince again looks impressed.

Vince: What about you, Show?

Big Show (looking resigned): I know that the Battle Royal, it was a draw between me and Rock and I know that I deserve a chance at the WWF Title but if you want to give The Rock a title shot, go ahead, I’m a team player. If that is the case then I’ll wait for another time for a title shot.

Everyone in the Corporation except The Rock gives Big Show a look of sympathy.

Vince: I’ve made my decision. Rock, as much as I want to give you a 1 on 1 title shot against Austin, Big Show is right, he deserves a title shot too. So allow me to announce to you the Main Event of Backlash, it will be Austin defending the WWF Title against The Rock and Big Show in a Triple Threat Match.

All Corporation members apart from The Rock then start to make their way out of the ring. They are all patting Big Show’s back and praising him for his team spirit.

Re: WWF: 3/29/1999-4/2/2000

Raw:

I like the angle starting with the WCW guys coming on, whichever ones it is. Nice way to get the whole thing going.

Corporate Battle Royal seemed a nice concept too. Expected that finish, leading to the triple threat now at Backlash, which is building up very nicely.

Brilliant win for Y2J. This gives X-Pac a chance to really shine now in his feud with Triple H. Right now, the European belt is being pushed better than the I.C Title. Not sure were exactly you're going with Val as champ, but it should make for an interesting number of vignettes with him shooting his movie.

Glad to see the Hardyz and Edge and Christian getting a slight push too.

Its a refreshing change to see the women get some spotlight. Good work with Tori, giving her a reason for attacking Sable. Very good indeed.

Putting a WWF Championship Match mid way through the show demeans the belt in my opinion. An Austin - Mankind match is good enough for a PPV main event, and is wasted being stuck in a nothing spot.

Funaki challenging Taker was totally unrealistic. Even if he was upset, or stupid, he wouldnt be stupid enough to challenge the Deadman to a match. It kinda makes Taker seem a little weak, if he isnt striking fear into the locker room.

Oh, almost forgot, it's good to see Snow and RVD building up a rivalry slowly, with a legitimate reason for it too.

Length: 10/10. I'm tempted to take marks off though, because at times it seems a little bit too much, even with the Attitude era, when there was a lot of matches on the shows, this seems too much, especially with some pretty high profile matches on show here.

Realism: 6/10. WWF Title matches between two of the biggest names in the company should never be anywhere else but in the main events. And Funaki should never challenge Taker.

Promo's: 7/10. Still a little off with most characters, but once again, I'll say practice makes perfect.

Spelling/Grammar: 9/10. Nothing too bad, but it wasnt quite perfect.

Matches/Booking: 7/10. Again, the WWF Title match gets marks taken off, as does Funaki challenging Taker. Too many matches too.

Raw Score: 78/100. Slightly lower than the previous week, but only a few adjustments need to be made to improve it.

Smackdown:

The booking of The Undertaker is ridiculous. It doesnt seem like anyone fears him. Al Snow challenged him to a match, so he could get out of facing RVD?? Something is definately wrong there imo.

It's official then, Triple Threat at Backlash. Should be an interesting match, and it seems to me now that it will be Big Show going face, and not The Rock, with Big Show being almost the good guy, and Rock remaining a heel in the promo's on SD. Would rather had seen Rock turn face, but either way, The Rock is still an entertaining character.

Jericho retains his belt in a nothing match. Please get him a feud. The European Title needs one. It has a strong champion, it needs a good rivalry to make it mean something now.

3 on 2 at Backlash, kinda makes it harsh on Triple H. It should be him with the advantages, not the other way around. I have a feeling though that you have something lined up here to change the advantage.

Looking forward to finding out just who the 4 guys are coming over from WCW. My guess would be the Radicalz, but I might be wrong.

Nice to see a feud developing over the tag belts. It;s not spectacular, but at least it's brewing.

Austin's interview wasnt bad, but he came across a little like The Rock, when he goes through his old Jabroni beatin, pie eatin bit. Not sure of that was what you wanted there.

Staying with Austin, I'm not sure it;s a good idea to be throwing opponents at him that you could save for PPV main events. At least this one closed the show though, and the seeds were planted for a future long term feud between them here too.

Length: 10/10. It looks like you have the show lengths down to a tee. Raw seemed too loaded, but this was just right, although, six matches would maybe be better than 8, even for a weekly show with short matches.

Realism: 6/10. The promo;s just arent hitting the right spot at the minute. It will take time though. Keep trying, and you'll perfect it. Stop having people challenge Taker. He should be feared, not challenged.

Promos: 7/10. Just not good enough right now. Some characters are okay, some are pretty good, but some arent in character for me.

Spelling/Grammar: 9/10. It's good, not perfect.

Booking/Matches: 9/10. No booking mistakes in terms of winners, but again, Taker shouldnt be getting challenged, he should be making them.

Smackdown Score: 82/100 Better than Raw, and an excellent score. Room for improvement though.

Final comments; Slow things down. At the minute you are doing a heck of a lot of stuff all at once. Use the two shows to build the feuds. Not everyone has to be on both shows every week. Build feuds around the titles too. No feud for the I.C or Euro belt really yet. Both need it though, or they'll just become a prop. You could have Jericho chase double gold, or, I suspect Jarrett was talking about challenging for the I.C belt on SD which would be a good idea.

Good work, looks like you deserved your award last month.

Raw Opening Credits

We see the pyros exploding and various shots of the crowd with people lifting up home-made signs.

JR: We are live from the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida and we are 13 days away from Backlash. Hello everyone I’m JR and with me is Jerry “The King” Lawler.

Lawler: JR, it’s still 13 days away but I can’t wait for it. I can’t wait to see Austin lose the WWF Title to either The Rock or Big Show.

JR: Well King, let’s focus on this show first.

Undertaker’s music plays and he makes his way down to the ring alongside the Ministry of Darkness. He gets the microphone.

Undertaker: Mankind, last week you said that I have changed and you are very correct when you said that. Now, my heart and soul are filled with darkness. I am not saying that for the last 7 years my soul is not dark, not at all, it’s just that there’s a little ray of light shining in it and it is this ray of light that is causing me to underachieve. It was this ray of light that caused me to only be in 1 Wrestlemania Main Event out of the 8 that I’ve wrestled in, it was this ray of light which caused Brother Paul to leave me for you, Mankind, it was this ray of light that caused me to lose my big title shot at last year’s Summerslam when I sent away my brother, Kane, but most importantly; it was this ray of light which caused me to become a pet to these pathetic souls (pointing to the crowd). A pet who these pathetic souls hoped would destroy the people that they hate, people like Ted Dibiase, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, and Vince McMahon. A pet that does tricks like turning off the lights, and floating and descending from the sky. Not anymore. That ray of light is now gone and that pet has become a wild beast. I know what I must do to go back to the days where I was Champion within a year of my debut; I have to let the darkness consume every inch of my heart and every corner of my soul. Mankind, what you have seen happen to superstars is that darkness manifesting itself and you of all people are foolish enough to try and stop it. Now there is no turning back, Mankind, because at Backlash, I will consume you with that darkness. And when I am done, Mankind, you will Rest…In…Peace.

Corporation’s music hits and Vince walks down the ramp by himself with a big smile on his face. When he gets in the ring he takes the microphone.

Vince: Apart from 4 refugees from Ted Turner’s wrasslin’ company, the last couple of days has been perfect for me and the fact that it will be a Triple Threat Match for the title at Backlash is a good omen. Why is it a good omen you may ask? Because last time Stone Cold defended his title in a Triple Threat match, he lost it. Let’s take you back to last September and In Your House: Breakdown.

Undertaker and Kane with a Double Irish-Whip on Austin. Undertaker and Kane get Austin by the throat and then gives him a Double Chokeslam. Undertaker and Kane both pins Austin 1,2,3.

Vince smiles again.

Vince: And you know what made it even better? It’s the fact that Stone Cold’s interference which started the chain reaction that ended up with me booking a Triple Threat match at Backlash. (Laughs), you’re a fool, Austin. Your interference last week will cause Backlash to no one but yourself because now at Backlash, lightning will strike twice and you will lose the WWF Title again. Now, since we still have about 60 minutes of airtime left I would like to make some more matches for tonight. Tonight, Stone Cold Steve Austin will be taking on Kane, a competitor from the Triple Threat match in which Austin lost the WWF Title. In the Main Event we will have The Rock and Big Show taking on the New Age Outlaws. Just a little warning, anyone in that Tag Match who will be involved in the Triple Threat Title match at Backlash MUST show up or they risk losing their spot in that Triple Threat match. My final announcement involves the Undertaker vs. Mankind match which will now happen at Backlash. Now, Undertaker and Mankind has produced many memorable matches in the past and this match at Backlash will be no different because I have added a stipulation to that match. Mankind, you might be familiar with this stipulation since you’ve participated in this match only 2 months ago. That’s right, folks, at Backlash it will be Undertaker vs. Mankind in a Last Man Standing Match. That is all from me, ladies and gentlemen, enjoy the rest of the show.

Snow: I’m teaming up with Mick tonight.

Camera pans to the left as RVD turns around and sees Mankind.

Jericho walks away as Godfather looks angry.

Do You Smell What The Rock Is Cooking?

Rock makes his way out to the ring.

Finkel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, making his way to the ring weighing in at 275 Pounds, The Rock.

Rock warms up in the ring.

Wellll…Well It’s The Big Show

Show makes his way down to the ring.

Finkel: And his partner, weighing in at 500 Pounds, The Big Show.

Show gets in the ring and then gets involved in a face-off with Rock. They trashtalk with one another and then looks towards the stage.

The New Age Outlaws’ music plays but there is no sign of them. We then go backstage to find that the New Age Outlaws have been ambushed by Triple H and Chyna. Dogg is knocked out on the ground as Chyna stomps away on Gunn. Triple H meanwhile is currently throwing X-Pac into the wall. X-Pac hits the wall and slumps to the ground as Triple H mounts him and starts punching him in the head.

Seeing that the match is most definitely cancelled, Show asks for a microphone. Rock seeing a verbal argument is about to happen gets a microphone.

Show: I gotta say, Rock, that what you did tonight to Stone Cold Steve Austin was pretty good. I mean, you pinned him. But that is nothing compared to what I did to him on Smackdown. You saw it, Rock, I destroyed Stone Cold Steve Austin, I Chokeslammed him through the ring and I was surprised that he was even here tonight. Rock, I’m not scared of you and I guarantee to Mr. McMahon that I will win the WWF Title at Backlash and become the ideal Corporate Champion.

Rock: Show, you can make all the idle promises you want, but The Rock knows that he is the one who deserves to be the #1 Contender, the one who deserves a 1 on 1 title shot against Austin, not you, T-Rex. The only reason that you are in the match with The Rock is because you’re being nothing but manipulative.

Show looks confused.

Rock: You think you can fool The Rock? (Doing a pitiful voice) Pick The Rock, don’t worry about me, I’m a team player. (Back to normal voice) Yeah, Show, you made the Corporation feel sorry for you and you made Vince put you in the match, but you can't fool The Rock.

Show: Rock, the reason Mr. McMahon has put me in the match is because I deserve it, it’s because…

Rock: Just know your role and shut your mouth, Show, because quite frankly, The Rock knows that you don't deserve to be in the match and The Rock knows that you yourself know it.

Show finally loses his temper and shoves Rock down. Rock looks shocked at this and then jumps on Show, tackling him down in the process and then giving him right hands when he’s down. Show fights back, he stands up, grabs The Rock by the throat and then throws him across the ring. Rock nips up and then starts exchanging right hands with Show. Suddenly, Vince and the Corporation come out. Vince, Shane, and Kane pull The Rock away while the others struggle to keep Show back.

Re: WWF: 3/29/1999-4/2/2000

Smackdown 15/4/1999
Marine Midland Arena, Buffalo, New York

WWF Opening Credits

Smackdown Opening Credits

There are no pyros as we begin Smackdown with the image of the Corporation once again pulling The Rock and Big Show apart.

Cole: Ladies and gentlemen, we start this broadcast of Smackdown by giving you a recap of what happened just before we went on the air. All Corporation members apart from Mr. McMahon were making their way to the ring, they then stood around waiting for Mr. McMahon to come out when all of a sudden The Rock and Big Show started to brawl.

A clip appears on the screen, showing the Corporation making their way to the ring. They enter the ring and in the footage, Rock is seen mouthing off to Show. Show is once again not happy and the brawl erupts.

We go back to the Corporation pulling Rock and Big Show apart. Vince’s music plays and he walks down to the ring looking very angry. Vince gets the microphone when he gets in the ring.

Vince: Stop fighting, dammit and listen to me! Listen to me!

Rock, Shamrock, Show and Kane stops fighting.

Vince: Last Monday Night, I said that I was in a very good mood and not even 4 people coming in from Billionaire Ted’s wrasslin’ company asking for a contract could spoil it. Now that mood is down the drain, now that mood is gone and it’s all thanks to you two (points at The Rock and Big Show). You two have disfigured the face of Corporation with your infighting. What do the 2 of you have to say for yourselves?

Show shakes his head as a microphone is passed to him.

Show: Mr. McMahon, I’m sorry, my emotions got the better of me and I’ll try to be more professional next time.

Rock walks over to Show and takes away his microphone.

Rock: What does the Rock have to say for himself? The Rock is not going to kiss your ass because as far as The Rock is concerned, at Backlash it’s a Triple Threat match and that Blue Whale standing over there is The Rock’s opponent not his partner. That’s what The Rock has to say. The Rock isn’t concerned about being professional all he’s concerned about is getting the WWF Title from Stone Cold Steve Austin at Backlash.

Vince: I expected a better explanation from you, Rock, (Gets in Rock’s face) considering you were the one provoking Big Show into a physical altercation.

Rock: And The Rock also expected a better explanation from you, Vince, considering you were the one that brought the Biggest Piece of Crap on God’s Green Earth into the WWF, into The Rock’s turf. Let The Rock make it perfectly clear, there is only 1 room for a Corporate Champion and that room belongs to The Rock.

Show then gets in Rock’s face pushing Vince out of the way in the process.

Show: Rock, let me make something perfectly clear, I came to the WWF for one thing and one thing only, to become the WWF Champion. I may be in the same faction as you, Rock, but I’m not going to play second fiddle to you.

Vince gets up looking EXTREMELY angry.

Vince: All that I have to say is this; the two of you had a physical altercation Monday Night and the two of you had another physical altercation before we went on the air tonight. Rock, Big Show, if you want a physical altercation, I’m going to provide you with a forum to do it on tonight. Tonight it will be The Rock vs. Big Show in a No Disqualification Match and I’m going to be the Special Guest Referee. Gentlemen, I advise you to take out every bit of your anger in this match. Because tonight will be the last physical altercation which you will have in 10 days, any physical altercation between the two of you after tonight will result in both of your contracts being terminated because I will not tolerate any infighting in Corporation. For the benefit of you dumb New York fans, I guarandamntee that I will fire Rock or Big Show if they get in a physical altercation after tonight and my decision on this matter is final.

Vince walks out of the ring and the Corporation follow suit. But as they walk up the ramp Vince sees Benoit, Eddie, Malenko, and Saturn walking in the crowd towards the barricades. Vince looks frustrated but is calmed down by Shane. Shane then begins walking down towards the ring.

Commercial Break

Shane is in the ring with the microphone. Benoit, Eddie, Malenko and Saturn are getting held back by security.

Shane: Don’t worry, guys, let them through.

Benoit, Eddie, Malenko and Saturn were then let through as one by one they went to the ring. Eddie gets the microphone.

Shane: You guys decided to come back even after getting kicked out on Monday Night?

Eddie: Si, mi amigo.

Shane: And you still want to be employed by the WWF?

Eddie: Si.

Shane: Then consider this your job interview, Eddie, I’ll give you 2 minutes to tell me why all 4 of you should be employed by the WWF.

Eddie: All right, esse. I think that Chris, Dean, Perry, and I should be employed because we’re a rare breed of wrestlers, homes. All 4 of us at one stage or another have been in Japan, competing with names such as Jushin “Thunder” Liger and Great Sasuke, we’ve been in Philadelphia, in ECW, busting our asses night after night, esse. And then at WCW, where we are always mentioned in the same breath as “That was definitely match of the night” but are still shoved down the card. Then we saw Stone Cold Steve Austin, homes, he had the same roots as us and look at how successful he is. If he can do it, esse, then we can too and that is why we’re here.

Shane looks impressed.

Shane: That is very good response, but I’m not ready to accept you guys yet. However (pulls out straws from his pocket), I’m going to give one of you a trial match against Test. Whoever gets the shortest straw gets a trial match.

The 4 wrestlers pull out the straws and Benoit gets the shortest.

Shane: You’re the lucky man, Chris; you’ll be taking on Test tonight. As for the rest of you, tonight, you are guests backstage, make yourself at home.

Shane then leaves as Benoit, Eddie, Malenko, and Saturn follows.

We’ll start with the Tag Team Champions; the rumor going around the locker room is that you two have volunteered to defend the Tag Titles at Backlash against Edge and Christian. Volunteered? Are you both saying that you both weren’t even challenged?

Henry: The rumors are true; Kevin, D’lo and I have volunteered to defend the Tag Titles against Edge and Christian at Backlash. Why? Because they’ve been a thorn in our side and at Backlash, we intend to pull that thorn away.

Kelly: Sable, you too have an issue to address.

Sable: That’s right and I’m going to make it simple. Tori, you cost me the Women’s Championship at Wrestlemania XV and I cost you the Women’s Championship last Monday night. Godfather: What’s this?

Jericho: It’s for the 2 sluts.

Godfather: They’re HOS, and the best hos around here for that matter. There is no way that they are worth 5 cents.

Jericho: Take it or leave it.

Godfather sighs as Jericho leaves.

Godfather: I told you girls that pimpin’ ain’t easy.

Suddenly Jericho comes back.

Godfather: I said pimpin’ ain’t easy.

Jericho: Pimpin’ ain’t easy? Good God, Junior, you hang around hot chicks all day and you say that it’s not easy?

Godfather: I’m talking from the business perspec…

Jericho (ignoring Godfather’s remark) : Are you secretly batting for the other team or something?

Godfather looks angry.

Godfather: Hey, if you think you’re so good, why don’t you have a go at pimpin’?

Venis: Hello ladies! And hello, Jeff. The Big Valbowski has indeed returned from filming Missionary Impossible and he’s not very happy about being attacked on his set last Monday Night. Jeff, The Big Valbowski will not accept your challenge but he will consider it and he hopes that he will cum to a decision later on in the night.

Venis’ image disappears from the screen and Jarrett looks frustrated.

In the Boiler Room of the arena, we see Mankind sitting down looking at the wall across from him.

Mankind: In 10 days, I will be competing in a Last Man Standing against the Undertaker at Backlash. Am I scared and nervous about this encounter with the Undertaker? I’ll be a liar if I said no. I’m always scared, I’m always nervous. Wouldn’t any of you be scared and nervous f you had to face the person that damn near killed you close to a year ago? But what I have to do what I’m about to do in 10 days, because I can’t watch from a corner and sit idly by as Undertaker consumes the World Wrestling Federation in darkness. I can’t do that, Undertaker, and I have to stop you from doing it. At Backlash, I will be the Last Man Standing, and I’m going to put a stop to your darkness.

Commercial Break

JR’s music play and he makes his way down to the ring. But on closer look, it turns out to be Road Dogg wearing a black Cowboy Hat and wearing glasses.

Dogg: Hello everyone, I’m good Ol’ RD and tonight, I will be conducting an interview with the 2 people who will be taking on X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws at Backlash; Triple H and Chyna.

1…2…Is This On?

Dogg: By God, here they are!

“Triple H” (X-Pac wearing a blond wig a fake nose) and “Chyna” (Billy Gunn with a black wig and fake breasts stuffed in his T-Shirt) makes his way down.

RD: Triple H and Chyna, thank you for giving me this time for interview. Just a personal question to you, Triple H, am I correct in assuming that the 3 Hs that make up your name stands for Hungry Hungry Hippos?

“Triple H”: That’s right-uh, RD.

RD: By God, I was right. Now we can get down to business. Hungry Hungry Hippos, 10 days, Backlash, you and Chyna will be teaming up against X-Pac, Road Dogg, and Billy Gunn and I was won…

“Triple H”: I know the drill-uh, RD. (In an intense tone), at Backlash-uh, I will-uh, decimate-uh, X-Pac-uh, Road Dogg-uh, and Billy Gunn-uh.

RD: Come on now, Pinocchio, you don’t want your nose to get any bigger than it is, take back what you said before the fairy hears about this and makes your nose bigger than it already is.

“Triple H”: I know-uh, I know-uh, I was lying-uh. At Backlash-uh, I will-uh, get my ass-uh kicked-uh by X-Pac and-uh the New Age Outlaws-uh

RD: See, telling the truth doesn’t hurt, Pinocchio.

“Triple H”: I am-uh, Hungry-uh, Hungry-uh, Hippos-uh. Not Pinocchio-uh.

RD: I see, now on to you now, Chyna. Shouldn’t it be spelled China? Because it is pronounced China.

“Chyna”: Well I’ve been spelling it that way since I was a little boy.

RD: Since a little boy?

“Chyna”: Well, would you like to see…

RD: No, thank you. But on the spelling of your name, didn’t you eventually learn to spell at school?

“Chyna”: I never went to school.

RD: Why is that?

“Chyna”: Because my parents spent all their life savings on these (grabs “breasts”) and then had no more to send me to a school.

RD: But the reality is, apart from that setback, you’ve proven to be quiet a success as a female wrestler. You participated in the Royal Rumble and it looks like you can match up pretty well with most of the male wrestlers around here.

“Chyna”: That’s true and that is what I want to continue to do. I want to continue wrestling so I can get enough money to get a nosejob, a facelift, a tummy tuck, a sex change, and maybe a face reconstruction.

“Triple H”: Didn’t the doctor-uh, say-uh, that your face-uh is too ugly-uh, and that surgery-uh, would only-uh, make it worst-uh.

A sarcastic clapping can be heard. X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws turn around and sees Triple H and Chyna standing at the top of the ramp.

Triple H: Good one, guys, pissing on my car Monday Night and now trying to impersonate Chyna and I. Just one criticism, come up with something original. This whole impersonation schtick was my idea. Must be getting a little bit stale, eh, Pac?

X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws take off their props and make-up and looks serious.

Triple H: Face it, all 3 of you, that without me, you guys are nothing. You are just 3 losers walking around looking for things that are worth doing and trying to hold on to the fact that you are DX. Well let me say it to you again now, DX is nothing without me. Without me, DX is like a boat without a sail, without me, DX is like a car without an engine and without me, DX is like a man without a penis.

X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws laughs.

Triple H: What’s so funny?

X-Pac: Hunter, man, if DX is the man without a dick, then that makes you…

Dogg: Hunter, I’ve always known you were a dick, man. You don’t need to tell us again.

Triple H gets angry.

Triple H: Oh, you’re laughing now, but you won’t be laughing in 10 days. At Backlash, Chyna and I will show all 3 of you that we made the right decision in leaving DX, that we made the right moves for our career and that it was the right thing to do in general. 10 days, Pac, count it down, because after those 10 days, I will take DX down.

Undertaker: Last Man Standing; the name of the wild beast that I have to tame at Backlash. It’s true that Mankind has the advantage in this one, having competed in it just 2 months ago. But Mankind fears me, I can see it, and even he admits it. Do I feel the same way about him? No. I am the Lord of Darkness, fear is my slave. It works for me, not against me. Mankind, you are fool, last time I faced you, you were close to going home to your family in a coffin. Last time I faced you I faced you, I mangled you. Yet now, you are still foolish enough to challenge me. Mankind, I promise you that at Backlash, I will give you a beating worst than Hell In A Cell and then you will Rest…In…Peace.
