Something I don't get, is how/why WWE randomly books trips to places and then quickly has Raw/SD back in USA(or a USA city not close to the current USA they're in a day or 2 before)

An example right now, they're in Spain, but will be back in USA in time for Raw this monday.

A few months ago, they were in canada for a few days(no tv event), then randomly went to new york(no tv event) then had Raw/SD tapings in some random USA city.

Why do they have all these random stuff? It might be cheaper to not have to bring all the tv equipment to places like Spain or Canada, but it'd also be alot cheaper to not constantly have to fly from USA to a different country, back to USA, 1 week every month.

Maybe the person who books where the events are held, just likes getting the Air Miles or something lol.

Well there is no way for them to televise an event from Spain, Russia, etc and have it air live so they have to be in North America (or atleast in England on occasion) in order to make the live showing of Raw. And since they have a Raw and Smackdown on every Monday/Tuesday - then there is no other option that do the international tours and then quickly get back stateside for the TV tapings.

When they can get the venues is a factor too. They might want to hold shows in Spain, France, and Italy but then find out that they can only get arenas in one of the countries.

They should tour the way musicians do. Let them be in Europe for like 2 weeks an then so on. It would make more sense that way.

Unless you are a top star in WWE, the WWE does not pay for your travel. They would have to pay to transport the TV equipment with them, but they don't have to pay to transport the stars to other countries to do live shows.

And I'm pretty sure that WWE sells out every arena in foreign countries because they don't go there often so it's worth going over there.
