I made this joke just now in another thread but I actually think it could make an amusing post. What do you think the most pathetic matches in WWE history are? They could be matches that just the concept makes you cringe, or just had so many face palm moments it deserves this title.

1. The joke was made originally with any match with Eugene. It really was hard to watch this guy. As a pro wrestling fan I died a little inside every time he was on screen.

2. those p.o.s. "celebrity" matches like with Rosie O'Donnell and Donald Trump, and Obama and stuff like that. Just horrible. the concept was horrible and the finished result gave people nightmares.

3. John Cena vs Keven Federline. Who thought this would be a good idea? I don't even need to get into how bass ackwards this was.

Cena vs Miz I Quit match at Over The Limit. That kinda match insults your intelligence and makes you embarrassed as a fan. Thankfully, I didn't see it.

Oooooooh yes. This one for sure. Never have I seen Cena get beat down like he was that night. It was to the point where even someone who knows that Cena always wins thought there was no way he could come back. and then he literally just jumps up, puts Miz in the stfu and he taps in five seconds. It's taken Miz until just now to start recovering from that. Fuck whoever booked that decision.

I'm going to go ahead and name a match from the future, that we all know is going to take place, the WrestleMania rematch between Rocky and Cena.

The reason I say this isn't because the match itself wouldn't be of terrible quality, despite the hate Cena gets he does work well in the ring, and Rock still can put on a good match himself.

But we all know whats going to happen, and to me that's the biggest mistake and most pathetic thing WWE is going to do. Honestly, when you can already guess the outcome of the main event of NEXT YEARS WrestleMania, that's not good business. Let me explain.. Rock announced that at the royal rumble he will face the WWE Champion, whomever that may be. CM Punk has had the title for 200+ days, and I don't see him losing it anytime soon. They have already foreshadowed a feud between him and Rock with what went down last Monday night. So Punk makes it to Royal Rumble, Rock beats him and captures the WWE Championship and Cena wins the Rumble to challenge him, setting up Rock/Cena II and Cena's ultimate victory at WrestleMania.

To me, the predictability is pathetic.

I also want to add something. That Miz/Cena match was the first ppv that I actually bought myself. I had some extra money so I bought it on a whim. Worst use of money ever. It's because of this that I'll stream forever. Sorry WWE but you brought that on yourself.

I streamed that PPV myself, and yeah that match was terrible. I think that was the ultimate evidence of "Super Cena", as he got beat down pretty much the entirety of that match only to miraculously come back and win off of a couple of moves. Just horrible storytelling in that match, and honestly hurt Cena's character a bit in my eyes because it made the Cena haters able to point and say "Ha! See, he is Super Cena!".

But to be fair, the WWE PPV's have been a lot better lately, MITB was worth purchasing, minus the main event which wasn't a main event.

This. If this doesn't happen exactly as this guy said I'll do a J.R. and eat my hat.

John Cena Vs The Miz Wrestlmania 27 - Horrible Main Event. Miz should not have been in the main event of Wrestlmania at all. Terrible match.

The Miz Vs John Cena I Quit Over The Limit - The ending was terribly down, and as someone already said and insult to the fans intelligence. But he match in general wasn't anything special, bad acting, no selling and terrible psychology.

Brock Lesnar Vs Goldberg Wrestlmania 20 - Wasn't even a match tbh, just two unprofessional assholes trying not to look too bad on their last night in WWE.

Undertaker Vs Big Show and A Train Wrestlmania 19 - Stupid match. Should just have been Taker and Big Show since the whole angle featured around those two.

Scott Steiner Vs Triple H Royal Rumble 2003 - Terrible match.

Scott Steiner Vs Triple H No Way Out 2003- Even more terrible match.

Vince Russo too.

Sometimes the most predictable direction is the best one. To me, it's more important to tell a good story than it is to try and get one over on your audience.

No serious person would call the last 4 Wrestlemania matches involving The Undertaker pathetic. But everyone knew who they would involve, and how they would play out. They may have been the most predictable matches in WWE history, but they were grand because they executed a story to near perfection.

Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg at WrestleMania XX - An absolute borefest, with Stone Cold being the saving grace.
Shawn Michaels vs Hulk Hogan at SummerSlam 2005 - Ridiculous becuase HBK didn't go over; hilarious because he humiliated Hogan.
Randy Orton vs Hulk Hogan at SummerSlam 2006 - Same as above, except replace HBK with Orton and subtract the humiliation.
Mickie James vs Lita at Survivor Series 2006 - Although the matter has since been resolved, Lita didn't deserve to have her career end the way it did. A 'ho sale'? Really?
Bret Hart vs Vince McMahon at WrestleMania XXVI - Boring.
John Cena vs Batista at Over the Limit 2010 - Typical 'Cena refuses to quit somehow overcomes the odds once again' bullshit.
John Cena vs The Miz w/ Alex Riley at Over the Limit 2011 - Same as above.
John Cena vs R-Truth at Capitol Punishment - How did R-Truth become the #1 contender in the first place?
Kelly Kelly w/ Eve vs Beth Phoenix w/ Natalya at Night of Champions 2011 - Why have Beth lose in her hometown?
Triple H vs CM Punk at Night of Champions 2011 - Punk should've won. 'nuff said.
John Cena vs Kane at Elimination Chamber 2012 - Way to make a monster like Kane look like a total joke, Cena.
Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus at WrestleMania XXVIII - 18. FUCKING. SECONDS.
Big Show vs Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XXVIII - What was the point of Show winning the IC title, only to lose it at Extreme Rules?
John Cena vs John Laurinaitis at Over the Limit 2012 - Why was this horrific 'match' (if you can call it that) the main event?
