WWE Reportedly Piped In Audio Reaction To Cody Rhodes/Brock Lesnar Segment On Raw

Fightful Select has confirmed that WWE heavily piped in audio during Brock Lesnar's segment with Cody Rhodes on "WWE Raw," and it wasn't just people online that didn't think it was necessary.

Viewers at home were subjected to a chorus of boos being piped in which ended up becoming so distracting that the promo Lesnar was cutting became hard to hear. However, this didn't appear to be how the live crowd was reacting, as can be seen in the below clip with the fans visible on camera. WWE has been piping in audio recently in an attempt to seemingly add more drama and story to storylines and matches, but this detracted from the segment even more, making the reaction feel even faker.

The piped-in noise was so over the top that many fans took to social media to mention it. The boos were constant throughout the entire segment which was an instant red flag to them being piped in and there are people within WWE that echoed their sentiment that fake crowd noise wasn't necessary.

No fucking shit. Brock was getting heat like MJF at a Star Trek convention. WWE crowds aren't that loud for almost anything, let alone a standard assault angle we've seen 1000 times.....that everyone knew was coming. Even the most casual fan knew ahead of time that Brock was gonna screw Cody, it took no one by surprise.
AEW should try to do this.
I noticed that boos too. I was like, no way are these boos real. It sounds kinda fake especially when the crowd looks to be just watching and not reacting too much
Honestly I thought it was out of place, when I saw the video I couldn’t even hear what Lesnar was saying due to all that noise and it caught me off guard as usually crowds don’t mind or boo so heavy for Lesnar destroying anyone. If anything they usually chant “one more time” even if he is f5ing a top face .

It makes sense now lol
This is why they piped in the boos. Because it's difficult to get Brock booed. Like you said regardless of who he beats up, fans just chant one more time or suplex city etc. So they decided to pipe in Dominic level boos lol.
If they are going to pipe in crowd noise they might as well go back to that thunderdome and have TV screens again

Stupid decision
WWE piping in audio? They've been doing that for decades.

Fuck dirtsheets and the retards that write them.

I cant believe that there are highly paid professionals in the WWE audio setup that did this without realizing how fake it would sound. If I was in charge I would make at least a good attempt to adjust the volume and pitch of the piped in boos to seem naturally blended in ffs. So amateur

They pumped in the noise because the crowd was silent and indifferent to what was happening, and WWE wants the folks at home to believe someone cares about Cody period or Brock if Roman ain’t involved in 2023. Fetch wasn’t happening then and it ain’t happening now.
Piped in crowd noise aside, I'm a little surprised by Cody. I thought the crowd would have turned on him by now, like they did in AEW. But so far, he seems to be gaining momentum as a face, if anything.
When most men get that hysterical tone to their anger people laugh at them. When Brock's hysteria kicks in he seems more psycho and scary than ever.

How did they confirm it?
AEW should try to do this.
They need it for random nobodies who appear that nobody knows about besides the hardcores.
WWE doesnt get any crowd reactions anymore so they always gotta pipe in the fake crowd noise 😂
As I’ve previously stated about Dominick Mysterio, the noise manipulation and piped in noise is obvious, especially if you observe the audience in the background, which is where the noise would naturally come from. When the front row looks half asleep, it is completely obvious to a reasonable person that they are not cheering.

The Tribal Chief does not require such crowd enhancements and manipulation because he is who they actually came to see.
lmao. The only way your tribal chief got over is due to a year of manufactured crowd noise in the thunderdome.

No, no they shouldn't. They don't need to.
I know I posted already but to actually answer this properly, personally, I ain’t feeling this feud. I don’t give a shit about it whatsoever and it’s boring. Guess I’m not the only one.
