Wrestling in the 90's was the best. They had good story lines, title changes. But now we only see 95% of all title changes at the pay-per-views. And the 5% of the title changes that happen off pay-per-views are mid-card titles. Title changes, you want them to be unexpected, not predictable. The WWE title I remember would change hands on RAW, but now only at the pay-per-views. I say a MAJOR thumbs down to this one.
How about this, on SMACKDOWN! we hold 6 qualifying matches for the US Title. And the winners of the matches would face each other in the main event. A 6-man Cage match. The winner would be crowned the new US Heavyweight champion. But there would be a lottery held that night for the #1 contender, he would face the champ at the next pay-per-view
On RAW, after Kevin Nash takes the title (I'm tired of seeing HHH with it) We'll set up HHH as the #1 contender. But the only was HHH can agree to the #1 contenders match, he must win Battle Royal on RAW the next night. After he wins it, he would face Kevin Nash in a special stipulations match. If HHH loses, he cannot hold ANY title for 6 months.
