Why would Sami be booed?? People have been in to his Bloodline era comedy for a year now

Backlash hype wise was reliant on the atmosphere in Puerto Rico along with Bad Bunny's involvement, and also Brock vs. Cody.

With this card you already have Roman/Solo vs. Kevin/Sami, Seth vs. AJ for the World Title, and Brock vs. Cody II. So in terms of giving you big matches this card, they're putting a lot more effort into this than Backlash, although Backlash still delivered big time.

And then you think you can still add matches like Becky vs. Trish, Bianca vs. Asuka, etc. I will say that if Asuka doesn't beat Bianca here, what are we doing? Like, Bianca's great and I can get her retaining at Mania to break a record. But now that the record's broken, there's no point in having her retain this time around.

Edge is an "ultimate opportunist" so I could see him pulling strings to get a title shot at Roman after the tag match

With what occured last night on RAW, this card is taking more shape, as more feuds were teased. Although with only two weeks, will Liv be cleared?? There's been no storyline development for Theory's U.S. Title on Smackdown, although my gut is telling me it's going to be Edge facing Theory.

I'm not sure since Trish vs Becky was challenged, if there's going to be four Womens matches, so maybe the Tag Titles aren't gonna be defended. The card is shaping up nicely though. I'm wondering if the Kickoff Show is gonna be brought back for this, and get a match on it.

Liv's injury apparently isn't "super serious" though I don't know if that means she'll be ready to go in 2 weeks. With Theory I imagine they throw someone like Sheamus or Mysterio at him, or Bobby again. If Edge was going to Saudi Arabia, I feel like it would have been in the World Title match.

Is Cena supposed to appear at Night of Champions? I turned on Peacock today, and he was on the banner for it. And it was just him and no one else.

Soooo I decided to let WWE2K23 play the matches for saturday....interesting results lol
-AJ wins the World Heavyweight Championship
-Bianca retains the womens Raw Championship
-Becky wins against Trish but with two caveats: Lita interupted on Trish's side 🤣and Asuka's intro music will distract Becky
-Ali beats Gunther and becomes the new Intercontinental champion
-Cody beats Brock
-Roman and Solo with the Undisputed Universal Tag Team title with no interference from the Usos

Even with the horrendous build up and lack of a story line, the only thing on this ppv that isn't 100% filler is Becky Lynch .vs. Trish Stratus.

Everything else doesn't have any implications and doesn't mean anything.

I do wonder what the idea with Brock & Cody is now. I mean the story is that Brock "broke Cody's arm" 5 days out. I mean if that's the case, how do you kayfabe clear him to wrestle? Lol. I'm surprised they didn't make the match Unsanctioned or something.

He's teasing a possible "Saudi Screwjob" but doesn't mention which match said screwjob would occur in.

Yeah, apparently additional talent have been brought to Saudi Arabia. Street Profits, LA Knight, Boogs, Omos, Karrion Kross & Scarlet have all gone.

I wonder if Kross is actually gonna get involved in Styles vs. Rollins or if he just wanted to go to go.

Think wrestlers are finally warming up to middle East tours. Saw some clips were they were having a fun time in Dubai yesterday

He'll come out and fight with 'broken' arm and inevitably lose. This will then set up a final winner takes all fight at MitB or Summerslam.

That's my prediction
