If Theory wins and becomes #1 contender for the World Title, he will choose to go for the US Title instead, which he currently holds, and he will lose.

Maybe he loses the US title before KOTR....anyways the point was that Gunther and Austin Theory would be kind of wrestlers WWE should push further this year and they can use KOTR to launch that...at least one of them will get the nod...

Yeah, I don't need to see WALTER lose to Roman Reigns, thanks but no thanks. Especially while still holding the IC title, which he needs to hold until he breaks the Honky Tonk Mans record.

If Cody is lucky enough to win the title, he should beat Cody but if that happens, Cody's not gonna drop the title anywhere near the vicinity of KOTR. Frankly, he should beat Cody at WrestleMania 40.

It's a much better name for a big event. I loved the Night Of Champions PPV's when every championship was defended. I also believe this event is the day that Roman reaches 1000 days.

Tag Titles - Sami and KO vs Usos (filmed in another arena)
IC Title - Gunther (drafted to RAW) vs Lashley
US Title - Austin Theory (drafted to Smackdown) vs Santos Escobar
RAW Womens - Bianca Belair vs Trish Stratus
Smackdown Womens - Rhea Ripley vs Beth Phoenix
Womens Tag Team - Liv and Raquel vs Shayna and Ronda
KotR Finals - Karrion Kross vs Johnny Gargano
QotR Finals - Natalya vs Bayley

They'll be doing a tournament to determine a new World Champion for the men going into the show. But I would assume QotR has been scrapped.

Wanting Seth/Edge to be the WHC tournament finals with Seth going over and avenging the fact that he lost his 2021 feud with Edge.

But of course, the only person Edge loses a feud to is Roman, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Edge defeat Seth agayn :laughing:

But you know Edge has such a bright future and he def. needs to win another world title.
Could have sworn people told me Edge would be putting over younger guys like Bryan does.

Well so far we have two confirmed matches for this event so far.
The finals of the World Title tournament which right now features Seth Freakin Rollins from the RAW side,
and a match ( with some gimmick to soon follow) between Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes.
Based on something that occured last night it looks like Natalya will challenge for a title( don't want to give away spoilers for those who haven't seen it. )

No real progression in other title matches were made last night. Without further adu here is what I'd like to see at Night Of Champions later on this month. * Spoilers*
