I have been reading about this new WWE Network show 'Legends' House'.

-Production for the show began in January 2012
-The show began filming in early February 2012
-The show took place in Palm Springs, California at the former house of Harpo Marx
-10 episodes were shot over a 21 week period

Why would WWE hold on to this show for just over 2 years ?

2 years isn't really that long tbh. A lot of TV stations record stuff and release it late. These types of second rate shows were never going to make it on national Television so the WWE had no choice but to hold out till the release of their own method of distribution of such niche media.

Because the network was supposed to launch a couple years ago? Don't you remember. It was supposed to launch the day after WM a couple years ago as a traditional t.v. station. They even showed footage of Legends House back then.

Maybe they tried to sell the show to other networks but it wasn't picked up so their next best decision in order to not waste time and money would be to show it on WWE Network down the line.

In any case WWE Network has been talked about for years so it could have just been a victim of the network taking forever to launch.
