All the people over the last year who bagged TNA for hiring old guys now have to put up with them in WWE.
Serously though Nash and Sting are over 50 and Booker T is not far off.
Does WWE need to hire legends now to keep the ratings up?
Their share price keeps dropping and looks like they are hiring anyone now days.
It is sad they are going down the TNA road and trying to rely on old guys to keep people interested.
Since Nash left TNA their ratings have gone up and he went to WWE and their shares continue to either drop or stay stagnant.

WWE puts old guys in acceptable roles to help put over talent. (Other than the whole Lawler/Miz thing)

Ok I would like to clarify why Jerry Lawler is in the main event at EC.

The stipulation was, and I quote "The remaining six participants will be in the Elimination Chamber match". With that in mind would it have been better for Cena or Orton to win and have Lawler in the EC match? I didn't think so either. The EC is gonna be a star stud match....minus R-Truth who I hope isn't gonna be in it. Lawler vs Miz is just a throw away match...again. If anything I question why the heck does WWE have a PPV like this, so close to Mania.

As for Kevin Nash. It appears to have been a one time deal. He didn't even eliminate anyone in the rumble. If it were TNA, Nash would have eliminated 10 guys in the first 3 minutes.

You're acting as if Nash and Booker T are gonna just waltz right in and win the world title.

There is a major difference between what TNA did and what WWE will do with them.

Booker and Nash were mainstays in the main event scene in TNA. Booker is coming into WWE as an announcer, and Nash has a Legends contract ... not some mega-deal catapulting him straight into the WHC or WWE Title scene. The guys are the same but the roles are completely different.

Sting is the only one that is going to do anything major. Booker will commentate and Nash may face Show at Mania but that hasn't even been reported yet. If they went back to TNA they would be main eventing immediately.

The older guys are coming in to help the younger guys.

The WWE brought in Booker and Nash and maybe Sting to hype up WM since there lacking Huge names. The youth movement guys still need to establish themselves and should be able to by next WM (if not the wwe is doomed) Its stupid to think that just because the WWE hired a couple vetrans there turning down the youth movement, its just to gain some extra fans for the even and to also pay these guys some respect as there careers wind down.

The King in the title match @ EC was made as a filler, to gurantee that there is a completely new matchup at WM.
