WWE: A New Day (SMACKDOWN! 7/29 posted!)

This is the first episode in a series I plan on doing. This may not be ultra realistic, but, it’s not meant to be, it’s meant to be a combination of the glory days of WWF and WCW and the current WWE, and that will become more evident as more shows are posted… enjoy if for what it is, and give me feedback. I'm not really dealing with the Diva Search thing, as that is really dependant now on viewers voting, and I really can't think of any good story lines for the women's division either, so I won't be writing matches with that either. The shows will usually be longer than this one, but due to the Iron Man match, this one is a little shorter.

RAW July 26th

Unexpectedly, as just as the show starts “No Chance” hits and Vince McMahon marches to the ring. J R and King give the classic ‘what a way to kick off Raw’ comments. Vince says he knows tonight is a huge night for many reasons, including the Triple H vs. Benoit Iron Man Match, but he says he has an announcement that blows even THAT away. He says that Summerslam is one of the biggest events of the year next to Wrestlemania, and he says he wants this years Summerslam to go down in history and to get mass media attention, which will be great for WWE. To that end, Vince says the he has offered conditional contracts to certain wrestlers he says he “thought he’d never talk to, or talk to again,” and that these wrestlers will start to appear within the next few weeks in order to boost popularity for Summerslam. He’s says that one of these wrestlers are actually here tonight!!! Bicshoff’s music hits, and he comes to the ring extremely pissed. He surprisingly starts chewing out McMahon, telling him that he is trying to run a good show while keeping peace in the locker room, and that he can’t do that if Vince just tosses mystery wrestlers into the fray. Vince gets back in Easy E’s face, telling him that Eric is running a less than peaceful locker room anyway, so this shouldn’t chance much as far as he’s concerned. Plus, he tells him that if he doesn’t go along with this idea…. He’s “FIRED!!!” Vince marches off as a shocked Bicshoff stands in the ring.

The Hurricane & Rosey w/ Stacy Kiebler vs. Tyson Tomco & A-Train w/ Trish Stratus

Stacy comes out with Hurricane and Rosey in some hott, skimpy, super hero looking outfit, and has apparently joined they’re little super hero team. Fast paced match, Trish hits Rosey in the head with her cast for Tomco to pick up the win. Stacy and Trish get into a major cat fight after the match, in which Stacy chases off Trish. The Heroes remain in the ring, they lost the fight, but they won the war.

Meanwhile, in the parking garage, Triple H and the rest of Evolution are following Vince back to his limo, asking him how he could disrupt the locker room with new hires like he apparently has, creating mass paranoia. Vince tells them all to settle down, and that Triple H should actually be pleased with one of his hires, and that by next week, he might actually be thanking Vince. Vince gets in his limo, but before he speeds away, he tells Evolution that if they interfere in the Iron Man Match tonight…. That they are suspended!!! As the limo speeds away, Bischoff walks up behind Evolution. Triple H grabs Bischoff by the collar, and tells him to take control of his show, and then they walk away. Bischoff is still bewildered by this whole night.

Rhyno & Tajiri are seen in the hallway debating over who they think these mystery hires might be, when La Resistance’ comes up to them and tells them that Rhyno better be worried about him match w/ Rob Conway, which is next…

J R says that Eugene will be returning to RAW next week… but what condition will he be in?

An add is run featuring Val Venis. Val says this whole Diva search thing has gotten his creative juices flowing, and he is about to begin a contest to discover a new ‘talent’, that would star with him in his next up coming ….. um …. Movie. WHO WANT’S TO BE A PORN STAR!!!

Rhyno w/ Tajiri vs. Rob Conway w/ Sylvain Grenier

Good, solid match, lots of interference from Grenier, but it’s mostly neutralized by Tajiri. Tajiri blow the green mist in the face of Grenier to stop the interference completely, allowing Rhyno to gore Conway and get the victory, making the score between these two teams 1 to 1.

Flames shoot out of the enterance way, and Kane marches down to the ring and takes the mic. He gloughts about his victory over Jericho last week, and says he hopes Lita was watching, to show her that he is a REAL man, more that Matt Hardy will ever be. Kane also tells Batista that he appreciated the help, but a monster like Kane needs help from no one! So he calls out Batista, and of course, the monster from Evolution excepts the challenge and comes to the ring with Randy Orton. An impromptu match begins

Batista w/ Randy Orton vs. Kane

This match is a massive train wreck of bulk. Lots of power moves, and both men seemed to be unphased by each others attacks. In the middle of the match, Chris Jericho runs to the ring w/ a chair and attempts to take out Batista, but is stopped by Randy Orton. As that distraction is happening, Lita slides in the other end of the ring and hits Kane with the ring bell! Batista capitalizes, and goes for the cover, but Kane sits up! While Jericho and Randy brawl on the outside, Kane regains control of the match, and tombstone’s Batista for the win. After the match, Kane gazes at Lita laughing, as if to say “nice try, but I still win”

Chris Benoit is shown in the locker room, paseing back and forth, looking very stressed. Edge walks in the room, and asks Benoit whats wrong. Benoit says he still feels groggy from last weeks attack by Batista, and he said he more than a little concerned about who the mystery wrestler that is supposedly in the arena tonight is and what impact he’ll have on the 60-minute Iron Man Match. Edge agrees he’s a big concerned about Vince revelation also. Benoit regains his confidence and says it doesn’t matter, that he’ll still retain HIS World Championship tonight. Edge wishes Benoit good luck.

Ric Flair marches into Bischoff’s office, with Bischoff still bewildered from the night’s events. Flair demands that he be allowed to accompany Triple H to the ring tonight, since he’s Triple H’s manager. Bischoff agrees, but tells him to not interfere…. Or else it will be both Flair’s and Bischoff’s necks!!!

60 Minute Iron Man Match – Chris Benoit (World Champion) vs. Triple H w/ Ric Flair

Of course, this match steals the show. The match is filled with close calls and many excellent moves. Triple H gets the first win with a pedigree and a pin. Benoit again makes Triple H tap for his first win of the match. The ref of course gets knocked out, Hunter gets desperate to break the tie as time runs thin, and Flair hands Triple H the ol’ sledgehammer. Hunter misses his shot on Benoit, and Chris applies the sharp shooter. Flair grabs the hammer, and is about to finish the job that Hunter started and whack Chris with it, but as he gets into the ring, another wrestler slides in, standing between Flair and Benoit. The crowd erupts as Flair now stands face to face with… MACHO MAN RANDY SAVAGE!!! Flair drops the sledgehammer and runs for his life, as the referee comes back to consciousness just in time to see Triple H tap for the second time just as the 60 minute time limit runs out. Macho Man halts his chase of the Nature Boy on the entrance way, long enough to see Benoit hold up the World Title, and Triple H screaming in anger @ the entrance way. END SHOW.

Amazing first show! It might be nice to add some colour and italics into the mix.
9/10 for the show. Could be 10 if you write the main event out fully and display a couple of moves that happened.
Good Luck for the future shows! I will stay tuned!

Thanks for the feedback guys! In the future, I'll try using italics and bold stuff more, make it look better. And in the future I plan to explain myself after the show, why I did certain things and such. I'll try to do Smackdown by the end of the week or possibly over the weekend or something... stay tuned :D

Ok, before I begin, I must admit, I made a slight boo boo. I wrote out Smackdown for next week without actually seeing the results of what happened this week. My bad. Imagine then if you will that for whatever reason, Smackdown didn't air this week, and that next week would pick up where 2 weeks ago left off. Now that I've thoughouly confused you, on with the show...

Smackdown! July 29th

Clips of the long lasting feud between Angle and Eddie are show, including clips from Wrestlemania, Kurt trying to take the title away from Eddie as GM, and more. The video package ends showing what happened in the cage match last week.

- Show Entrance -

Tazz and Michael Cole welcome everyone to Smackdown! as the the pyro goes off. Immediately following the pyro, Angle’s music hits, and Kurt WALKS to the ring with Luther Reigns. As soon as they enter the ring, JBL’s music hits, and the limo pulls up in the enterance way, and the always grinning champion walks to the ring. All three men seem to be standing in the ring waiting for something. All of the sudden “No Chance” hits and McMahon walks out onto the Smackdown! entrance way. McMahon takes the mic and says he is here tonight to welcome yet another one of his new hires to the WWE, this time to Smackdown! and he wanted to tell Kurt Angle and the JBL, the Champion about it in person. He gives out new details, that 3 hires have been made by him for each brand, the Macho Man Randy Savage (which gets a big pop) was hire #1 for RAW, and hire #1 for Smackdown will be revealed later in the night. Instead of being irate like Eric Bischoff, Kurt, JBL and Reign look pleased. McMahon says now onto other business. He says he saw what happened in the cage match weeks ago… and he wants to… congratulate Angle and JBL on such a well put together scheme. Vince says that they planned it so well, it reminded him of himself and the Rock in the glory days of the Corporation. Angle and JBL smile, as they thought they were gonna get chewed out, but instead get praised for their dastardly deeds. After making the comment about the Corporation, Vince stops, and thinks… “It’s almost as if your trying to show me up when it comes to scheming.” Vince gets a pissed off look on his face. “Yes, that’s it, your trying to show up Vincent Kennedy McMahon! Well, let me tell you something, NO ONE is as EVIL as Vincent Kennedy McMahon!” Angle, JBL and Reign look terrified. Angle and JBL try to explain that they are not showing him up, but Vince won’t listen. He says that now, if JBL wants to hang onto that championship that he schemed his way into keeping, he’ll have to fight like hell for it. He says that he will in fact defend it tonight…. Against …. JOHN CENA!!! IN A NO DQ MATCH!!! Not only that, but he is reinstating that John Cena is the U.S. Champion! Vince drops the mic and walks away.

BACK TO THE LOCKER ROOM

Paul Heyman and his faction, made up of John Heidenriche and the Dudley Boyz are roaming around in the halls backstage. They are near one of the enterances to the arena, when the door opens and someone walks through the door. The camera gets behind the mystery man and crouches down so you can only see the mans hand, but still view the Heyman and his boys. “My God, it’s YOU! YOUR one of McMahon’s new hires, aren’t you?” Heyman does his maniacal laugh. Heyman says it’s good to see whoever it is, starts to reminisce… then pauses and asks whoever the man is if he would like to hang around with Heyman and his crew for the night. They have “BIG PLANS” for the new tag champs, Kidman and Paul London. Whoever it is apparently agrees, and Heyman and his group is very pleased.

Cruiserweight Championship Match
Rey Mysterio Jr. (champ) vs. Scott 2 Hotty

This match is a major crowd pleaser, since everyone loves both these guys. Many, many high risk maneuvers, Scotty attempts the Worm, but Mysterio dodges the blow. In the middle of the match, Chavo comes out onto the enterance way and sits down in a chair to watch the match. It eventually ends with Rey Mysterio hitting the West Coast Pop. Scotty and Mysterio shake hand after the match, as Chavo dares on Mysterio to fight him from the enterance way, then walks back to the locker room.
Winner: Rey Mysterio Jr. retains the title via pinfall

ANGLE’S OFFICE

JBL is yelling @ Angle, telling him that this wasn’t part of the agreement that they had. JBL says that he regrets making a deal with Angle. Angle says it’s not his fault that McMahon has suddenly reappeared. JBL then starts calling McMahon a crazy jackass, just as McMahon walks into the office. McMahon gets even more pissed, and fires back @ Bradshaw, saying that he’s lucky he’s even still employed, after what he pulled in Germany. He says that he came to tell Angle about his idea for Smackdown’s main event for SummerSlam… the return of the Elimation Chamber! And McMahon says it will be for the WWE title! McMahon says that he will be observing Smackdown himself in the next few weeks to see who is worthy to be put in this hellacious match. He also tells JBL that if Cena wins tonight, and becomes WWE AND U.S. Champ, that JBL will not be going to SummerSlam in the Elimation Chamber, and won’t get a return shot at the title! McMahon leaves, and so does Bradshaw, and he slams the door on the way out. John Cena then comes through the door, mocks Angle being McMahon’s bitch with a little rap, laughs at him because he is getting this tremendous opportunity despite Angle’s hatred for him, and then leaves.

DRAGON ADVERTISMENT

An ad is shown that says “In one week, the Dragon is reborn.” Green flames then fill the screen and is says “The Jade Dragon – Next week on Smackdown!”

CAFÉ DE RENEE

The ring is set up with the café props after they return from commercial break. Renee Dupre, after ripping on America for a bit, announces that his guest tonight has a few things to be said about how WWE is being run… Bad Ass Billy Gunn. Billy comes to the ring and sits down with Renee, and tells him how unhappy he is in the WWE right now. He says that he has been there over a decade, and is still being treated like a mid carder, while guys like John Cena gets title shots. “I’m BILLY F’N GUNN!!!” he says, and tells the fans they can kiss Mr. Ass’s favorite body part as they boo him for being a jerk. Hardcore Holly then invade’s the Café, and tells Gunn that he has been there for just as long, but realizes it takes hard work to be a top tier wrestler, not just whining. This pisses Gunn off, so he challenges Holly for a match later in the night. Holly excepts. Just as it appears the segment has ended, the lights dim, and there is a loud SNORTING type noise heard throughout the arena. The lights fade to black and there are a bunch of colorful strobe lights, and that is all that can be seen. When the lights come back on, the Café has totally been trashed, and Gunn, Holly and Dupree stand utterly confused.

Booker T vs. Orlando Jordan

Booker basically dominates the match, Orlando fights back a bit, but does not do to well against the 5 time WCW Champion. Booker picks up the win fairly quickly. He grabs the mic after the match, as says that it was thought that Booker was going to go after the U.S. Championship, but instead, he has set his goals higher. He hears Vince is looking for quality Smackdown! superstars to be in the Elimation Chamber Title race at SummerSlam… “Well, look no further than the BOOK!!!” Booker drops the mic and leaves.
Winner: Booker T via pinfall

KENZO SUZKI PROMO

Kenzo Suzki and his translator then come to the ring. The translator says as Suzki talks that he wants everyone to know that he is the premier wrestler from all of Japan. Suzki says that his ancestors prophesied of a great champion of battles in their family line, and that is HIM! He pulls out an object wrapped in a towel, and unveils it, it is giant samurai sword. He screams something in Japanese, and the translator says that he is THE DARK SAMURAI!!! They then leave the ring.

BACK TO THE LOCKER ROOM

Angle leaves his office and Luther Reigns is puzzled as to why. Angle tells Luther that he has to clear his head for a while, then walks down the hallway. Reign’s asks about his match against John Cena that he was promised this week, and Angle says it looks like thanks to Vince, that’s not going to happen. Reigns looks pissed.

Bad Bass Billy “F’N” Gunn vs. Hardcore Holly

Great match for the two veterans. The momentum of the match goes back and forth. Billy is really playing the heel now, using the ropes during submission moves, taking the turnbuckle pad off, choking Holly with electrical cords outside the ring and such, but none of it is quite enough to put Hardcore down for the count. Hardcore almost gets the pin on several occasions. Ref gets knocked out. Billy then uses a chair and busts Holly open badly. He hits the Fame-asser on the weakened Holly and picks up the win.
Winner: Billy Gunn via pinfall

LOCKER ROOM

Angle is walking around in the back, thinking about what’s been going on tonight. He then stops in front of RVD’s locker room as smoke is billowing out from underneath the door. Angle freaks and starts yelling “FIRE, FIRE!!!” He’s about to bust the door down to save whoever is in there when a glaze - eyed RVD opens the door. Angle asks where the fire is, and RVD tries to explain that he was just “mellowing out” just a little bit before his match. Angle looks in the room and Funaki is also in the room filled with smoke, laughing his ass off. Angle doesn’t quite get what’s going on, and tells RVD that his match is next. RVD shuts the door and Angle begins to walk away, then stops, as if he just realizes that RVD and Funaki were most likely smoking marijuana, then gets a really pissed off look on his face and storms away.

Rob Van Dam vs. Johny “The Bull” Stamboli w/ Nunzio

Pretty good match. RVD has to fend off Stamboli’s FBI partner throughout the match, and ends up doing a couple of amazing moves to take out both Stamboli AND Nunzio. RVD hits the Five Star Frog Splash, but Nunzio ends up breaking up the count. Funaki, still cracking up, runs to the ring and takes out Nunzio, allowing RVD to pick up the win with a small package on Stamboli. Funaki gives thumbs up to RVD from outside the ring, and RVD returns the hand gesture, both of them cracking up.
Winner: Rob Van Dam via pinfall

LOCKER ROOM

The Tag Champs Billy Kidman and Paul London prepare to make their way to the ring, when they run into Paul Heyman. He tells the boys “Good luck defending the DUDLEYZ tag titles” with an evil grin on his face.

Tag Team Championship Match
Paul London and Billy Kidman (champs) vs. The Basham Brothers

The match is not in progress for very long when Paul Heyman and the Dudleyz storm the ring and beat the holy hell out of Paul and Billy. Paul takes the mic and tell them that they will pay for stealing the Dudleyz tag titles, and that they aren’t the only ones who will make them pay, because the Dudleyz have friends in high places. He then calls John Heidenreich to the ring to continue the beating. Paul then tells them to behold, because he saved the best for last. He said he wanted to introduce London and Kidman to an old friend of his… the homicidal, genocidal and suicidal maniac of ECW fame… SABU!!! Sabu walks to the ring to mixed fan reactions, apparently part of Paul Heyman’s evil group now. Sabu gets in the ring, tells the Dudleyz and John to stand the tag champions up so he can finish them, and… instead of attacking the tag champions… he starts attacking Paul Heyman’s faction! He clears the ring of everyone except for Heyman with a few of his trademark high risk moves. Heyman is paralyzed in fear. Sabu goes to attack Heyman, but the Dudleyz pull him out. Sabu stands in the ring glaring at Heyman, at the side of a beaten and battered Paul London and Billy Kidman.
Winner: No Contest

LOCKER ROOM

As JBL prepares to go to the ring for his match with the U.S. Champion John Cena, fearing loosing his WWE Championship, Angle comes up to him and wishes him good luck. Bradshaw looks pissed and just storms off. A stage hand comes up to Angle and tells him that Vince McMahon has one more message for him, and he’d like him to meet him at his limo in the parking lot. “What now?” Angle says as starts toward the parking garage.

WWE Championship Match
John Bradshaw Layfield (WWE champ) vs. John Cena (U.S. champ)

A hard hitting match. Both competitors rely on their power moves, and it’s a truly interesting match watching these two titans tangle. Cena tries hitting the F U a few times, but Bradshaw escapes. The ref gets knocked out. Bradshaw grabs the WWE title and brains Cena with it. He goes for the cover, the groggy ref counts…. 1…2… NO! Cena kicks out. A frustrated Bradshaw stands the ref up, and viciously gives him the Clothesline From Hell. While he is busy doing that, Cena comes to consciousness and catches Bradshaw by surprise with the F U, but there is no ref to count. Finally, a new ref slides in… 1…2… NO! Bradshaw gets a shoulder up. While the new ref is helping the other ref out of the ring, Cena grabs the title and brains JBL with it! The ref comes back in, Cena makes the cover… 1…2… NO! Bradshaw amazingly kicks out. Cena, while waiting for Bradshaw to get back up, pumps up his shoes, and prepares for another F U. Just then, Luther Reigns slides in and begins attacking Cena, prompting the ref to ring the bell. Luther beats up a weaked Cena, then takes the U.S. Title, saying “This belongs to Mr. Angle.” Just as Reigns is about to exit, Bradshaw hit the Clothesline From Hell on Reigns, venting his frustrations with Angle by attacking his associate. Bradshaw takes the WWE title and quickly leaves.
Winner: John Cena via DQ

PARKING GARAGE

Angle is walking up to a limo waiting outside, parked right beside the wall of the garage, asking for Vince McMahon… instead, out of the limo pops Eddie Guerrero. He attacks Angle and tosses him in the limo. Eddie says that if he wants to fake being handicap, then he can handle being handicapped for REAL! Eddie gets in one of his Low Riders and speeds at the limo, Angle barely escapes through the sunroof and gets out of the way as Eddie slams the Low Rider into the limo, crushing it between the wall. Angle runs for his life as Eddie walks slowly after him.

END SHOW

Ok, my afterthoughts.... why I did certain things... why I didn't do certain things on the previous installment... here we go...

* John Cena should be the U.S. Champion. He never lost it, it just got taken from him, and I thought that was pretty dumb, so I gave it back to him.

*Like him or hate him, Billy Gunn is a good wrestler, and he is extremely underused. He should be at a better point in his career than jobbing to everybody.

*Kenzo Suzki needs a better gimmick than the angry japapese guy... so... I gave him the samurai thing.

*RVD is a terrific talent, but he can't act worth shit, and he acts like he's high all the time... so... hey... that's his gimmick now. It's a rehash on ECW stuff, but hey, it's edgey and noteworthy.

*I brought in Sabu because... well... if you don't think Sabu is cool... your not cool. :D

* I know what you may be thinking... WHAT? NO UNDERTAKER? Well, I'm getting to that, I'm trying to respect the Taker's lighter schedule.

Well, next episode of the saga is RAW, I might do it over the weekend or early next week... but in the meantime, give me feedback about the RAW or Smackdown! I've already done, I'd appreciate it. Thanks for reading.

jade dragon = ultimo? why not use his real name Yoshihiro Asai
Well, because I really don't like the idea of Yoshihiro Asai returning to WWE without a mask. I really like the Ultimo Drago gimmick, so I thought if I maybe refreshed it a little bit, it might get a better reaction for when he returns that an unmasked Yoshihiro.

Got a little confused with the Sabu thing, he is a face isn't he?
Yes. Sabu looked like he had joined Heyman's faction, but ended up double crossing them. I Probably should have explained that a little better...

Thanks for all the feedback guys! Like I said, RAW will be up probably over the weekend sometime. I'll tell you this... another one of McMahon's hires will be revealed! In case you wanna keep track...

Well, I said I would do this over the weekend, got busy with other stuff, and forgot... so, I'm one day late... sorry. Well, anyway, here it is... this episode continues off of the previous RAW I did... so, read that first to know what's going on...

RAW August 2nd

Clips of what happened last week in the Iron Man match between Triple H and Chris Benoit are shown in a dramatic put-together fashion, with voice over by McMahon talking about hiring superstars for Summerslam. Video package ends with the surprise appearance of Macho Man Randy Savage.

SHOW ENTRANCE

J.R. and King welcome everyone to RAW, and say that tonight will go down in history, because they have been told that another one of Mr. McMahon’s mystery hires will be revealed tonight, plus, Randy Savage is in the building, and will be Chris Jericho’s guest on the Highlight Reel!!!

KANE’S NEW ‘FAMILY’

Flames shoot from the entrance way and Kane marches to the ring. He takes the mic starts on again about how he is an outcast from society, and never had a normal life, and says that’s the reason why he impregnated Lita, to start a normal family, something he never had. He said would have loved to have a brother to share in this experience, to be happy for him, and to be an uncle, but since The Undertaker is a weak undead parasite that lives now only to please the fans. He says, thanks to his brother, he can’t even share this experience with his father (referring to Paul Bearer). “There is no one like me out there… except one… someone who I had to search the bowels of hell to find… but someone like me… who could share in this great experience… the experience of ‘FAMILY’… someone who I would be proud to call my brother… someone who I want my son to call ‘uncle.’” He then says he wants to introduce that man to Lita tonight, but since Lita is always a little less than willing to be part of Kane’s new family… he had to do something a little bit rash… He points the attention of the crowd to the titantron where Lita is in some type of pit in the ground somewhere. She is screaming for help. Kane says “Wait right there, honey. I’ll be there soon to introduce you to your new brother-in-law… and your gonna love him… *laughing* Trust me… Trust me…” Just then Matt Hardy hits the ring and grabs a mic and demands that Kane tells him where Lita is. Kane tells Matt that he’ll never find her, and that he has no time anyway, because he has a match later with Garrison Cade. Matt flees the ring to begin his desperate search for Lita, as Kane stands in the ring and laughs his evil laugh.

BACK TO THE LOCKER ROOM

La Resistance’ are talking in the back, and they say that they have to make an impact tonight, to even up the score between them and the team of Rhyno and Tajiri. They then talk about how they hated that all throughout their feud with them, the crowd always chances “USA, USA…” and that seems to fuel them. Conway then gets an evil smile on his face and tells Dupree to come with him.

INTERVIEW SPOT

The Hurricane, Rosey and Stacy Keibler are interviewed. Stacy is now wearing something that is a cross between a school girl uniform and a super hero outfit. She says she is now ‘Super School Girl Stacy’ and has joined the Hurricane and Rosey. They vow to vanquish the evil doers Tyson Tomco, A-Train and Trish Stratus tonight, in their match next!

The Hurricane, Rosey and ‘Super School Girl’ Stacy Keibler vs. Tyson Tomco, A-Train and Trish Stratus

A very entertaining match. Lots of high risk moves from Hurricane, some are countered by the power of Tyson Tomco and A-Train. Rosey battles back the big brutes with a little muscle of his own. Trish (cast and all) only gets tagged in to beat up a downed Stacy, using a lot of help from Tomco and Albert. A huge melee happens at the end of the match, Stacy ends up pulling down Trish’s pants revealing a hott thong, In Trish’s shock Stacy surprises her with a small package and a pin. The heroes quickly flee as Tomco and A-Train are livid with the results of the match.
Winner: Hurricane, Rosey and Stacy via pinfall

BISCHOFF’S OFFICE

Bishcoff is on the phone with someone, telling them he has no idea who, or even where this weeks mystery “hire” is, because he hasn’t seen anyone out of the ordinary today at the arena. Just then, Evolution busts into the office, pissed off as can be about last weeks surprise appearance by Randy Savage. Ric Flair shouts and Bischoff, asking him how could he allow Macho Man back on RAW after so many years, no doubt a bit worried because of what Flair said about Macho Man in his book that was just released, and says he refuses to work with him. And Triple H chews out Bischoff because Macho cost him the World Title last week. Bischoff tries to explain that there is not much he can do, because it is McMahon making all of this happen. Randy Orton says “Well, it’s just one more legend to kill.” Bishcoff asks Evolution to please not interfere with the Highlight Reel tonight, and Batista tells Eric that they will do whatever the hell they want. Bischoff says that he has way to much to deal with tonight, along with the wild card Savage, another new hire coming in, and the return of his nephew Eugene, that he’s got way to much on his mind, so he has then escorted out of his office by guards. As Evolution is escorted out, they turn to Batista and tell him that the only vindication Evolution can have tonight in an in ring match is if Batista brings back the Intercontinental Championship back to the group tonight, when he defeats Edge. Batista looks fired up. Hunter’s cell phone rings. He says “Great, so you’ll be here next week? And your going to help us? That’s great, it will be good to see you again, man.” After a few other parting words, Triple H looks very happy and says “Man, are we gonna have some suprises in store for the Macho Man.” Flair does his classic “WOOO!!!” as Evolution walks down the hall.

Al Snow vs. Mark Henry

A surprise treat for the fans, Al Snow has returned to RAW along with HEAD!!! Plus, Mark Henry is returning from a long absence from nursing his injury that was given to him by the current WWE Champion, Chris Benoit. A good match for the two veterans. Snow tries to brain Henry with Head, but it does little against the massive behemoth. Henry picks up Head and completely crushes it between his hand with his off-the-charts power. Henry hits four big splashes in the four corners of the ring on Snow, completely crushing him. Blood runs from Snow’s mouth as Henry pins him. Mark Henry is indeed back, and with a vengeance.
Winner: Mark Henry via pinfall

WELCOME BACK EUGENE!

The World Champion Chris Benoit heads to the ring and takes the mic. He says it is his honor and pleasure to welcome back his friend, Eugene. Eugene’s music hits and he gets a big pop from the crowd, as he heads down to the ring, waving happily at everyone. He has lots of stitches from when Evolution beat the crap out of him. Benoit tells Eugene how much he admires him, that after everything that he’s faced, he still wants to come back to the WWE and wrestle. He says that Eugene has the heart of a champion. He says that he hopes Eugene has learned his lesson, and that he knows now who his true friends are. He says the William Regal wanted to be here tonight to witness his friends return, but had a family issue back at home that he needed to take care of, but he wishes Eugene the best. He then hands the mic over to Eugene. Eugene pauses… AND THEN HITS CHRIS BENOIT WITH THE MICROPHONE!!! He then takes Benoit’s title belt and brains him with it, opening up Benoit badly! Eugene then picks up the mic, and now, he is oddly strutting around the ring like a cocky bastard. “Boy, I had you all fooled, I knew I was good, but not THIS good… I even had the World Champion fooled…” Eugene then explains to the downed Benoit that before entering the WWE, he was an actor, a highly paid one at that. He says he yearned for more acting success though, success in sports entertainment. He trained for years before he decided to come here, and he thought by entering the WWE under the guise of Eugene the loveable handicap boy, he could win the sympathy of WWE superstars, making it easy for him to beat, making it easy for him to become successful in the WWE. He says it almost worked, he had the World Title in his grasp until the cold bastards of Evolution screwed up his master plan. It appears now that he will have to reveal himself for who he is… Nicolas Dinsmore… Masterful Actor! And he says he deserves and wants a return title shot… TONIGHT!!! “I think you owe me that much… Uncle Eric… after the way I’ve been treated here in the WWE…” Bischoff, amazed walks out onto the entrance way, his mouth dropped practically to the floor. “Uh… you got it” Eric says, still in massive shock. Dinsmore manically laughs as Benoit is on the mat in a bloody heap. There you have it…. Later tonight… Nicolas “Eugene” Dinsmore vs. Chris Benoit for the World Heavyweight Championship!

RESISTANCE’ STEPS OVER THE LINE

La Resistance’s music hit and they walk to the ring with a trash can, lighter fluid, and an American flag. They take the mic and Conway says that because of the crowds actions, that La Resistance’ is now forced to take desperate masseurs to shut them up. “You and your country brought this on yourself” he says and Dupree puts the flag in the trash can and pours lighter fluid into it. He is about to light a match when the music of patriotic WWE hall of famer Sgt. Slaughter hits! Sarge hits the ring and starts pounding away on La Resistance’, but they are too much for him, and they start to get the upper hand, but just then, Rhyno and Tajiri hit the ring, forcing Resistance’ to retreat. Rhyno and Tajiri help Sarge up and out of the ring, to many approving cheers.

LOCKER ROOM

Benoit is being bandaged up from Eugene’s attack earlier, when Edge comes in to talk to him. Benoit says that he is going to absolutely destroy Dinsmore tonight, and they both comment on how appalled they are at how Dinsmore has fooled everyone. Edge says that he’s got Benoit’s back tonight if Dinsmore tries anymore “tricks.” Edge says he has to go, his match is next!

Intercontinental Championship Match
Edge (Champ) vs. Batista

Very fast paced match. Lots of excellent moves. Batista tries to overpower Edge, but Edge keeps slipping away. Edge spears Batista Edge goes in for a cover… 1… 2… NO!!! Batista kicks out. Batista gets back to his feat, and tries to finish Edge with a Batista Bomb, but Edge finds a way out. Edge end up suprising Batista with a small package for the win. Batista, loosing two weeks in a row now, is extremely furious. He heads to the back, where Evolution is waiting for him. Triple H admonishes Batista for loosing, but tells him not to worry, the night isn’t over yet, and that they’d all get a level of retribution for all of Evolution’s problems as of late.
Winner: Edge retains the IC Title via pinfall

THE PIT

Once again, Lita is shown, somewhere deep in a pit in the ground. Kane and a mysterious man in a trench coat, who’s face is just out of camera view, stand at the top of the pit. Kane tells her that now that she’s met her new brother-in-law, the real fun can begin. The man in the trench coat dumps a ton of live snakes down in the pit right onto Lita as she is screaming in terror. Kane laughs until his attention is caught by something, and both he and the man in the trench coat flee. Just then Matt Hardy appears over the pit, and he tosses Lita down a rope and pulls her out. When he asks her who the other man was, she is still so shaken up she can’t even talk. He tells her that he is going to return to the arena for his match, and he will find out who did this to her.

THE HIGHLIGHT REEL

Jericho stands in the ring with the Highlight Reel set up, and tells the crowd what an honor it is to introduce one of his idols in wrestling to his segment tonight. He then calls to the ring Macho Man Randy Savage. Macho walks to the ring to his old school music and enters the ring to a huge pop. When the crowd is finally done chanting his name, Macho picks up a mic and gives everyone a classic “OOOOOHHHH YEEEEEEEAAAAHHH!!!” which starts everyone chanting his name again. After that quiets down, Jericho asks Macho why he decided to return to the WWE now. Macho says that he was prompted back into the squared circle after reading Ric Flair’s book, and reading how he ripped on other legends of wrestling, including himself. He says he came back to the WWE to challenge Ric Flair to an in ring confrontation! Just then, Evolution’s music hits and all four men walk to the ring. Jericho, trying to keep peace, tells Evolution to leave, but Orton and Batista back him into a corner so Triple H and Flair are now face to face with Savage. Triple H screams at Macho, telling him that he took away his opportunity to become World Champion again last week, and that he will pay dearly for that mistake. Macho says that his beef isn’t with Triple H, it’s with Flair. Flair screams at Savage, telling him that he wasn’t as good as him a decade ago, and he’s STILL not! He also tells Savage that there is no way that he will ever get into the ring one on one with him ever again! Triple H then takes the mic and says they will however have a handicap match with him next week! It’s already been okayed by Bischoff! Triple H and Ric Flair vs. Macho Man, next week on RAW!!! Jericho says “Make that a TAG TEAM MATCH!” He then shoves his way out of the corner and says if Macho will allow it, it would be his honor to tag with him against Evolution next week. Macho again gives the “OOOOOH YEEEEEAAAH!” which prompts Triple H to attack him in a pissed off rage. Evolution then beats down both Savage and Jericho, not without a little resistance though, Savage and Jericho get in some good shots before going down. In the end, Batista redeems himself to Evolution for his loss earlier by Batista Bombing Jericho, and then the Macho Man!!! Evolution then leaves the Highlight Reel in a heap.

THE BIG VALBOWSKI’S “WHO WANTS TO BE A PORN STAR!”

After the commercial break and the Highlight Reel set up is cleared out of the ring, Val Venis shows up in a hilarious purple suit coat and tie, and says it’s time for “Who Wants to be a Porn Star!” the contest in which he will choose beautiful women who he wants to star in his new adult film with him. He asks for the contestants to come to the ring. 6 extremely hott women come to the ring in bikini’s. Val tells them to strut their stuff, and boy, do they. Val says that this is the part where his contest differs from the Diva Search, the talent competition. He then says that he’s taking a page out of Bischoff’s book, and says HLA FOR EVERYONE!!! All the chicks start making out as the crowd chants a mix of “Holy shit” and “HLA.” Val then asks what’s better than HLA? WHLA!!! Wet, Hot Lesbian Action! He then dumps water all over the girls! He then says “Ah, the hell with it, your all going to be in my upcoming movie!” Having thoroughly entertained the crowd, Val and the girls exit the ring.

LOCKER ROOM

Matt Hardy is shown sprinting inside the back doors of the arena, just in time for his match, which is up next after the commercial break!

Matt Hardy vs. Garrison Cade

Matt seems very distracted all throughout the match, which allows Garrison to get the upper hand. Matt starts to battle back, but then, the man in the trench coat jumps out of the crowd, and he has a bag over his shoulder. He unties the bag and tosses into the ring a GIANT snake. Garrison Cade escapes the ring, Matt Hardy backs up away from the snake, right into the choke slam of an awaiting Kane. The man in the trench coat slides into the ring, and now it is clear… it is McMahon’s mystery hire for the night… and apparently new adopted brother of Kane… Jake “The Snake” Roberts. Roberts has a mic and says to the downed Hardy “You’ll be sorry you ever messed with the dark side… TRUST ME… TRUST ME…” He then drops the mic and stands beside Kane and holds up the huge snake as Kane raises and drops his hands, making fire shoot out of the turnbuckles of the ring. A new family of darkness has just been spawned.
Winner: No Contest

LOCKER ROOM

A bandaged up Chris Benoit is show walking through the halls in the back, headed to the ring, and he is PISSED.

World Heavyweight Championship Match
Chris Benoit (champ) vs. Nicolas “Eugene” Dinsmore

Very good match. As much as the crowd now hates to admit it, Dinsmore is a good wrestler. Many close calls, as Dinsmore his skills to imitate the styles of many wrestling legends including Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Ric Flair and many others making him more than a formidable advisary for Benoit. At one point, Dinsmore believes that Benoit has tapped to his sharp shooter and starts to celebrate, allowing Benoit to almost get the win with a backslide, but Dinsmore kicks out. Benoit attempts the flying headbutt, but misses, which allows Dinsmore to regain the upper hand for a while. The Dungeon training of Chris Benoit eventually proves to be too much for Dinsmore, as Benoit makes him tap to the Crippler Crossface. After then match, Edge comes in to congratulate Benoit on his victory. Edge holds up Benoit’s hand as Dinsmore slides out of the ring, his plan ultimately failed. Benoit then starts to exit the ring, but HE IS SPEARED BY EDGE!!! Edge then takes the World title, and then holds up both the World Title and the IC Title above his head as RAW goes off the air. BENOIT BETRAYED TWICE IN ONE NIGHT!!! Truly, a dark night on RAW…
Winner: Chris Benoit retains World Title via submission

Another quality show, one problem though, now both Eugene and Edge are heels, there is only Benoit and Jericho that are uppercard and main event faces!
I'm guessing another face hire will happen, thanks to Mr McMahon!
9/10 keep it up!

Ah, are we so soon forgetting about Macho Man? But hey, ya never know, somebody else may show up on the next RAW episode to balance things out...

And now, here are my afterthoughts and reasons for doing things on this episode of RAW....

* Where the hell is Mark Henry? He got injured a long time ago, you'd think he'd be better by now. So, that's why he's back on RAW. And, that also begs the question...

* Where the hell is Al Snow? He's cool! He should be back on RAW!

* We need to see more of Stacy on WWE TV, and if giving her a gimmick will let us see her perfect ass every week, then I say by God do it.

* Ok, about Eugene. I REALLY don't like the Eugene gimmick, it's making fun of handicapped people... my little brother is handicapped, and I'd beat the shit out of anybody that messed with him. So, since I don't like that gimmick, I turned him heel and changed his gimmick.

* Am I the only one that really misses Jake The Snake Roberts? He was one evil bastard, but he was as cool as hell. Thus, he has returned.

* If the Lita having a baby gimmick is gonna work for 9 months, it's gonna have to be refreshed every few months. I thought by adding Jake to the mix of Kane's new family, it would make things interesting.

* I'd love to see another IC Title vs. World title fight like @ Wrestlemania 6 between Hogan and Warrior. So I could make that happen, I turned Edge heel. Perhaps I'm setting up a match for SummerSlam? Huh... maybe...

Well, that's all for now. Smackdown coming up possibly by the end of the week. Oh, and for those of you playing the home game and keeping score...

This show is a continuation from all the other posts I've been doing, so make sure to read up on those to figure out what's going on.

Smackdown! August 5th

A clip package is shown of the actions last week taken by Mr. McMahon. It shows him setting up the elimination chamber title match up for Summer Slam, saying that he would personally select the participants, and NOT General Manager Kurt Angle. It also shows that McMahon now has it out for JBL, and is intent on him loosing the title before Summer Slam so he can not participate in the elimination chamber title match. It also shows what happened at the end of the show, when Eddie tried to crush Angle’s limo with him low rider.

- Show Entrance -

SETTING UP THE MAIN EVENT

Kurt Angle appears on the titantron to a chorus of boos from the crowd. He’s sitting in an office somewhere, live via satellite. He says that he’s not there in person tonight because he fears for his life due to Eddie’s actions last week on Smackdown. But he says that he can run the show just fine from where he is. Just then, “No Chance” hits and Vince walks out to the ring with a big smile on his face. Vince takes the mic and admonishes Angle for not showing up for work. Vince says since Angle didn’t show up, he will just have to run the show tonight. Angle protests, and says that he can run the show just fine. Vince says that after SummerSlam, he might not be running Smackdown at all, because he has hired someone that has shown a tremendous interest in being the GM of Smackdown, and since Angle has been doing a subpar job, he might just take him up on the offer. Vince says that person is here TONIGHT! He then tells the people in the truck to cut the satellite feed as Angle is yelling “Who? Who?” Mr. McMahon moves on to other business. He said that tonight he will be selecting the 6 participants who will go to the Elimination Chamber Title match at SummerSlam, and tells all the superstars to be at their best, because he may pick anyone. He says that the only person who has a guaranteed place in the match is of course, the WWE Champion, JBL. JBL’s music then hits and he comes out onto the entrance way with mic in hand. He tells McMahon thank you for guaranteeing his spot in the match, especially since the unpleasantness last week, which he apologizes for. McMahon says… “ Woh, woh, woh, you didn’t let me finish, your spot is guaranteed to be in that match as long as you’re the champion, but that may very well change after tonight… because tonight, in this very ring, for the WWE Championship, you will face… THE UNDERTAKER!!!” JBL is terrified as Vince drops the mic and heads back to the GM office.

Before the commercial break, Tazz and Cole announce that tonight, there will be a six – man tag match, Billy Kidman, Paul London and Sabu vs. the Dudley Boyz and Heidenreich! Sabu will also be interviewed on Café De Renee! Plus tonight, the Jade Dragon is set to take on Jamie Noble!

After the break and before the next match, Torrie Wilson comes down to do color commentating. She gets a huge pop, of course.

Bad Ass Billy F’N Gunn vs. Charlie Haas w/ Rico & Miss Jackie

Before the match, Billy Gunn takes the mic and says how ridiculous it is that he’s in a match with a guy like Charlie Haas who is a rookie. He sells his new heel phrase, “I’M BILLY F’N GUNN” before the match begins. It’s a very good match, the two’s styles work very well together. All throughout the match, Billy tries to cheat in different ways, like using the ropes during pins and taking the turnbuckle pad off, but it’s stopped Rico and Jackie. Torrie, still at the announcing booth, is just talking about how pretty Jackie is, and that it’s a pity that WWE divas are so underused on Smackdown. Haas begins to get the upper hand, and almost gets the pin on Billy on several different occasions. Haas ties up Billy in a small package, and seemingly has the win, but Torrie Wilson gets up from the commentating booth and pushes Haas so now Billy is on top of the small package, and Gunn gets the win! Rico and Jackie are both shocked Torrie gets in the ring, Jackie confronts her, but Torrie belts Jackie! She then goes over to help up Billy and they both beat the tar out of Haas, Rico and Jackie. Torrie then takes the mic and tells the crowd that she’s sick of being misused on Smackdown, and if she is the only diva that is going to stand up for herself, then so be it! She says that she has decided to side with a man that is in the exact same spot as her, because he’s Billy F’N Gunn, and she’s TORRIE F’N WILSON!!! Billy looks surprised but hugs her and celebrates with he none the less. Just then, the titantron comes on and it’s Vince from his office. He says he likes Billy’s new attitude, and it has been proven to him that he may very well be championship material. So, as of now, Billy Gunn as been added to the Elimination Chamber Title Match at SummerSlam! Billy is ecstatic, but the crowd is none too happy. Vince also agrees that the divas are being underused on Smackdown, so, also at SummerSlam, it will be Torrie Wilson vs. Miss Jackie! Billy and Torrie leave the ring, both very happy with the results.
Winner: Billy Gunn via pinfall

BACK TO THE LOCKER ROOM

Paul Heyman is shown in one of the private locker rooms with his team, the Dudleyz and John Heidenreich. The urn that Heyman stole from Paul Bearer is sitting on top of one of the lockers. Heyman is paseing the floor, and Bubba asks him what’s wrong, because he knows that the Dudleyz and Heidenreich can beat the two flukes and Sabu tonight. Heyman tells him that no, I don’t know that, because Sabu is one of the best and most talented employees that he ever had in ECW, and Kidman and London had beaten the Dudleyz before. And he says to top it all off, if what Vince says is any indication, THE UNDERTAKER IS ALREADY HERE AND IN THE BUILDING! He’s going to be hunting Heyman, for what he made him do to Paul Bearer, and no one, NO ONE can stop the Undertaker once he has his mind set on something. Just then, the lights in the room go out. Heyman scream bloody murder, and then the lights come back on. Bubba tells him to settle down, that it was just power failure. Heyman says sorry, but he can’t stay here tonight, Undertaker is going to kill him if he finds him! Paul runs from the room, no doubt to flee the arena. The Dudleyz and Heidenreich look extremely pissed but then as they look around the room, they see that the urn is now gone from the top of the locker where it was sitting. They are all now genuinely freaked out.

OUTSIDE THE GM OFFICE

Luther Reigns is walking to the GM office when he passes JBL in the hallway. He tells JBL that he hasn’t forgotten about the Clothesline From Hell that he got from Bradshaw last week. JBL says that he wants to do something about it, he can knows where to find him. Reigns just seems to brush off the comment and walks into the GM office, where Vince McMahon is now sitting. He requests that he be given a match with John Cena for the U.S. Title, which he has been requesting for weeks. Vince says that he runs this show much differently from Angle, and that he’s not just going to give out title shots on a whim. He says however, that if Reigns wins his match tonight, then at SummerSlam, he will get the match against Cena that he requested. Reigns looks very pleased as he begins to walk out, and Vince says “… Oh ya… I forgot to tell you… tonight you’ll be facing Eddie Guerrero!” Reigns looks concerned now as he leaves the office.

The Jade Dragon vs. Jamie Noble

Noble comes out, and then comes the entrance of the mysterious Jade Dragon, who we were told about last week. Green flames shoot out of just about every inch of the entrance way, and the Jade Dragon rises up through a green ring of fire, sorta like Gangrel used to. It is now plain to see that it is the return of Ultimo Dragon, with a slightly refreshed gimmick. He is wearing cool ass new ring attire that seems to be almost neon green. The match begins, and of course, it’s awesome. Jamie and Dragon both give their all, with many high risked maneuvers. It seems that Dragon is about to get them win, when a man in a black samurai look costume comes to the ring and starts beating the crap out of Dragon. The ref rings the bell as Jamie flees the ring, and now we see clearly that it is The Dark Samurai, Kenzo Suzki that is the attacker. He leaves Dragon in a beat heap. Why has he attacked the Dragon? Perhaps we’ll find out next week…
Winner: Jade Dragon via DQ

Vince appears on the titantron, and says that next on Smackdown, he has booked match to name a new participant to the Elimation Chamber… it will be Rey Mysterio vs. Rob Van Dam… NEXT!!!

BOOKER’S TIP

After the commercial break, we are in the GM Office once again, and Booker T walks in. Booker asks Mr. McMahon if he has considered Booker for the Elimation Chamber yet, since he requested it last week before anyone else. Vince says again, that he’s not giving out anything for free on Smackdown, and the night is already extremely booked… so… Booker then buts in, and says he can give something to Mr. McMahon for the opportunity to be in the match, a business tip. McMahon asks what business tip could Booker possibly give to him. Booker says he’s been hearing rumblings in the locker room, about something BIG that’s gonna happen, not here on Smackdown, but something one RAW, something that McMahon might want to know about before next Monday. McMahon thinks about it for a moment, and then says ok, he likes Booker’s style anyway, so Booker is in the Elimation Chamber Match, but just out of pure curiosity about what his tip is. Booker looks extremely happy, but then tells McMahon that a superstar from the past that McMahon didn’t even hire is planning on making a surprise appearance next week on RAW! He dons’t know exactly who, but he thought McMahon might like to know. McMahon looks concerned and says “…interesting…”

Rey Mysterio Jr. (Cruiserweight champ) vs. Rob Van Dam
*Winner earns a spot in the Elimation Chamber WWE Title Match @ SummerSlam

This is of course an excellent match. These two are fighting for a huge opportunity. There are so many high risk moves that it’s not even funny. Many close counts for both men. Rey Mysterio attempts the West Coast Pop, but it is reversed into a power bomb by Rob Van Dam. Van Dam later in the match tries the Five Star Frog Splash, but Rey catches him on the top rope and pulls off a hurricanranna. Rey hits a 450 Splash from the top rope….. 1….2…..Thr…. NOOO!!! RVD kicks out in the nick of time. RVD regains the upper hand, and hits a Split Legged Moonsult! 1….2…. NOOO!!! Rey barely kicks out. RVD again goes up top for the Five Star, but Rey drop kicks him off of the ropes, and RVD falls through a table outside. Rey then does a suicide dive from in the ring outside after him, but RVD gets up just in time to catch him with a crescent kick in the face. RVD sets Rey on top of the announcers table as Tazz and Michael Cole flee the scene. RVD goes up top, and attempts and Five Star from inside the ring to the outside, but misses and goes through a second table as Rey moves out of the way. Rey quickly rolls RVD back into the ring and hits the West Coast Pop! 1…2…NOOOO!!! RVD kicks out! Rey is so amazed, he doesn’t know what to do next. He goes up top to attempt something, but Rob catches him with an arm drag off the top down to the mat. RVD jumps up to the top, and finally hit the Five Star Frog Splash! 1…2…3!!! RVD gets the win and gets the wins the opportunity to go onto the Elimination Chamber. Showing respect to Rey, he helps Rey up and shakes his hand. But has they look to the entrance way, Chavo Jr. is standing there, pointing and laughing at Rey. Rey looks really pissed.
Winner: Rob Van Dam via pinfall

BACK TO THE HEYMAN LOCKEROOM

The Dudleyz and Heidenriech are sitting around discussing strategy for their six man tag match tonight, when Heyman comes back in the locker room. D-Von calls Heyman a deserter and asks what he wants. Heyman is smiling, and says he thinks he is going to be ok tonight, because he has found a way to be safe from the Undertaker…

HALLWAY

RVD and Rey are walking through the hallways in the back after their match, and Rey congratulates RVD, but says he’s really annoyed with Chavo. RVD tells him not to worry about it, to mellow out. RVD then gets an idea. He says to Rey to come to his locker room, that he knows the perfect way to mellow him out… he wants to introduce Rey to someone he knows named… Marry Joe… Rey laughs and says he thinks he’s met her before, they laugh and then continue walking.

CAFÉ DE RENEE – AN ULTIMATLEY EXTREME EDITION

The Café is once again set up in the ring and Renee Dupree starts out the segment threatening whoever destroyed the café set up last week, and ripping on America of course. He then introduces his guest, Sabu. Sabu walks to the ring to a huge pop. Renee asks why Sabu has come to the WWE, and Sabu says that he is fed up with seeing Paul Heyman screw up the lives of so many people in the WWE, like the Undertaker. He explains how he tried to do the same thing to him in ECW, and he couldn’t stand to see it happen to rising stars like Paul London and Kidman, so he came to the WWE to shut Paul E. up for good, whatever it takes. Dupree then starts asking Sabu derogatory questions like “ So, how was it working for a second rate, animalistic, bingo hall driven federation like ECW,” and other such questions. Sabu grabs Renne by the throat and tells him that he doesn’t like little prissing boys like Renee Dupree degrading a company that he once called home, and that meant so much to him. Renne then grabs a wine bottle off of the table and raises his arm to hit Sabu when the lights go out, and strobe lights hit, just like last week. Then the crowd is shocked to hear the Ultimate Warrior’s old music hit! Warrior books to the ring, just like he always used to, to a huge pop. Sabu and Renee are frozen in disbelief. Once he gets in the ring, he grabs a mic, and does his psychotic snorting sound, which gets another big pop from the crowd. He tells all of “ his warriors” that he has returned to the WWE, to make the world of wrestling right again. He says he has been watching WWE from home, seeing how far it has gone down the toilet under the rule of idiots like Eric Bischoff, Paul Heyman and Kurt Angle. So, he has returned to campaign for a régime change, to campaign for GM of Smackdown! He says he has longed to have a voice in the world of wrestling for a long time, a voice which some have, and waste it. With that he looks over at Renee Dupree. He goes over and gets right in his face. He tells Dupree that he has a unique spot in the WWE, a chance to make a difference with his segment on Smackdown with his voice, but chooses to waste it making fun of legends like Sabu. Warrior admits it was he who destroyed the Café last week because of this. And he says that also because of that because of this fact, he has already talked to McMahon, and that next week, it will be Warrior vs. Renee Dupree in the Smackdown ring! Renee, looks extremely pissed, and tries to hit Warrior with the wine bottle, but Warrior blocks. He then does a Gorilla Press Slam on the French Phenom! After that, Sabu picks Dupree up, sets him on the small, circular café table, goes up to the top, and hits a Shooting Star Press on Dupree, putting him right through the table! Sabu and Warrior then hold up each other hands, to a huge crowd ovation!

LOCKEROOM

In a very dark corner of the arena, the silhouette of the Undertaker is shown, starring at the urn that he apparently stole back from Paul Heyman.

After the commercial break, the Café has been cleared away and London and Kidman have joined Sabu in the ring to battle the Dudleyz and Heidenriech.

Sabu, Billy Kidman and Paul London vs. John Heidenriech and the Dudley Boyz w/Paul Heyman

A very good, fast paced match. The Dudleyz and Heidenriech work well as a team, but seem to always be outmatched by the other team. Sabu wrestles very well in his first match in the WWE, but gets distracted continually by the shouting comments of Paul Heyman, which allows the Heyman’s team to get the upper hand. At one point in the match, Sabu gets so pissed that he flips over the top rope, launching himself out onto Paul Heyman. This allows Kidman to slide in and catch D-Von, unexpectedly with a small package roll up 1…2… NOOO!!! The veteran kicks out just in time. Meanwhile, on the outside, Heidenriech lays into Sabu. Bubba is tagged in and gets a Bubba bomb on Kidman, but he amazingly kicks out. The Dudleyz grow increasingly frustrated with the tag champs, unable to defeat them. Sabu comes to consciousness outside the ring from Heidenriech’s beat down, grabs a chair, and from the floor, as Bubba has Kidman ties up choking him in the ropes, smacks him hard with a chair! Bubba is busted open badly. Sabu gets tagged back in, goes to the top, 450 Splash, and pins Bubba! Team Heyman is irate and continue the battle after the match. The titantron comes on, and there is Vince. He says that he is now truly proud that he hired a Hardcore Legend like Sabu, and he likes what he does. He says he has the right attitude and hardcore demeanor to be a champion, and to be part of the Elimination Chamber at SummerSlam! Heyman looks furious, shouting “ What about my guys?” Sabu leaves the ring smiling with Kidman and London, and the Dudleyz and Heidenreich all stare at Heyman, pissed off that their alliance with him is proving to be more of a hindrance from moving up the championship ladder in the WWE than a boost.
Winners: Sabu, Kidman and London when Sabu pinned Bubba Ray

LOCKEROOM

Luther Reigns is shown headed to ring for his match against Eddie Guerrero. If he wins, he gets Cena at SummerSlam. He passes Cena in the hall way, and Cena wishes him a sarcastic good luck “ Cuz you gonna need it.” Reigns restrains himself from fighting Cena and continues to the ring.

Eddie Guerrero vs. Luther Reigns
*If Reigns wins, he gets a U.S. Title Shot @ SummerSlam

Very good match. The rookie Reigns makes a good showing for himself, but the veteran moves of Eddie Guerrero seem to be getting the better of him. A few times, Reigns catches Eddie with a few of his high flying moves, but nothing that Eddie can’t recover from. Reigns grows increasingly frustrated, and ends up purposefully putting the ref in harms way, knocking him unconscious. Reigns then goes outside and gets a chair. Cena then appears on the entrance way. He is mocking Reigns, which draws Luther’s attention away from the match. Eddie low blows Reigns, steals his chair and brains him with it! He goes for the cover, the groggy ref makes the count…1…2… NOOO!!! Reigns kicks out. The ref still groggy and trying to get up, Guerrero capitalizes and grabs the camera from the camera man and brains Reigns with it! He then goes up top, hits the frog splash, and pins Reigns! After the match, Eddie then picks up the camera again, and is playing to the crowd with it, when McMahon comes up on the titantron. Vince looks displeased. “You lying, cheating, despicable man… (Vince’s face turns to a smile) well done. You just earned yourself a spot in the Elimination Chamber! However, Luther Reigns… You disappoint me. YOU GET NO TITLE SHOT @ SUMMERSLAM!” Reigns, just waking up, is very disappointed… as Eddie celebrates, still using the camera to play to the crowd. Now the Elimation Chamber is almost set… Billy Gunn vs. Booker T vs. RVD vs. Sabu vs. Eddie Guerrero vs. the champion… but after tonight, will that be JBL or The Undertaker?
Winner: Eddie Guerrero via pinfall

LOCKEROOM

Bradshaw is shown headed towards the ring, his head hanging, knowing that he is about to meet the Undertaker in battle.

WWE Championship Match
John Bradshaw Layfield (champ) vs. The Undertaker

As the Undertaker walks to the ring, he is carrying the urn, and before the match begins, he sets it in the middle of the ring and bows to it on one knee, and then puts it in the corner. The Undertaker begins to decisively dominate the champion, tossing him around the ring like a rag doll, and with Bradshaw, that’s hard to do. Any offense JBL attempts is immediately stopped or reversed by the Taker. He chokeslams the champion and goes in for the pin, but he sees Paul Heyman walking to the ring laughing. Taker gets and evil look on his face, and raises his hand in Paul’s direction, and Heyman’s suit jacket is lit on fire! Heyman quickly takes it off and stomps out the fire, but JBL now takes advantage of the destracted Taker. JBL powers Taker around the ring for a few minutes, but then Taker regains control, but they end up knocking the ref out. He then is about to tombstone JBL, when Heyman shouts for someone to come out of the locker room, and Mordeci heads out to the ring, ceremonial robe, cross and all. Mordeci then hits the ring and busts the Undertaker WIDE open with the cross. Mordeci stands over the Taker, as if he is victorious over him. Heyman then rolls the urn towards Mordeci and the camera gets in close on Mordeci. He says “Now the ultimate source of evil and sin will be punished!” Bradshaw looks on in the corner as Mordeci stabbs the jagged end of the cross right through the urn! When he does that, Undertaker immediately sits up! Bradshaw flees the ring and takes his title, as does Heyman, and Mordeci slowly, fearfully backs out of the ring. There is green smoke leaking out of the urn where Mordeci has stabbed it, as the bloody Undertaker stares at the fleeing villains as the ref awakens and counts Bradshaw out, and Smackdown! goes off the air.
Winner: The Undertaker via count out

Yeah these are good shows dude, I see potential for you.

I thought the person in the trench coat and the Graveyard could be Sting, or Vampiro. But Jake roberts could be interesting. Mordecai is being used well which I am enjoying.
