While watching raw and of course listening to the king's commentary I began to think about all the other kings that wrestling has had over the years. How many wrestlers had the gimmick of some type of royalty? I'm not talking about winners of the king of the ring, not every one of them took a gimmick where they were a king (austin, shamrock, billy gunn, bret hart...)

The ones I can think of:

Jerry the King Lawler
King Booker
King Haku
Macho King Randy Savage
King Harley Race
King Kong Bundy (lol not really a king)

how many other kings were there and who do you think played the part the best?

Just my two cents but I've always thought the King gimmick was cheesy. I don't know if fans were expected to treat it as some sort of title-like designation or what, but I just thought it was a gimmick that went way, way, WAY past its shelf-life.

Cheesy Queasy AND Sleazy.. the King's Court deserves an honorable mention. They may be midgets, but they were wrestlers.
